Mccain Reid

National Journal:

National Journal's Linda Douglass sat down with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., for the April 18 edition of "National Journal On Air." This is a transcript of their conversation....

Reid: Of course. We don't need more of Bush. I think it's fair that John McCain, during his 26 years in Congress, on maybe three occasions has crossed over. But where was he the rest of the thousands of times that we needed some help from these Republican-driven policies that have caused us to have no health care, the war in Iraq -- which he thinks he should be there another 50 or 100 years. I think as soon as we get this problem worked out between Obama and Clinton, there will be a spotlight focused on him and all you're going to see is a George Bush clone.

Bipartisanship... shouldn't that mean when people of good conscience recognize a problem and join together in good faith to solve it? What we've been seeing in Congress is Democrats signing on to bad Republican bills in hopes (usually dashed) of getting Republicans to support bad Democratic bills. Do these people check their honor in the cloak room? More than likely, I've seen Mr. Smith Goes to Washington one too many times.

Hillary already lost, starting April 25

http://www.hillaryproject.com/index.php?/en/story-details/what_hillary_clinton_and_the_media_are_hiding_from_the_voters/

the smoking gun video:

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=56305

read about the upcoming case:

http://www.paulvclinton.com

You hillary supporters should be angry that you were lied to!

As for McCain - he will lose because it will come out how entrenched in the Abramoff scandal he still is.

McCain is sitting on a motherlode of unreleased (out of 742,000 pages: 97% suppressed, 3% released) Abramoff documents that, if released, would expose and incriminate the entire Republican Party (and some Democrats).

John McCain is using this tall list of unreleased dirt to protect/blackmail members of the GOP (and some Democrats) into bowing down to King McCain.

Be very afraid if he becomes President.

Always wondered why more than half of the GOP hates McCain & why his GOP candidacy funding is so dried up? Now you know why - educate yourself:

These are actual, verifiable, incriminating talking points. The petty 'guilty by association' lies people are trying to pin on Obama don't even come CLOSE.

None of the fearmongering 'speculation' that surrounds Obama holds a candle to validity compared to what is going to hit Hillary Clinton and John McCain.

I suspect three is as high as Reid can count. Surely nobody actually believes him.

It is time for every democrat to start collecting kitchen sinks to hurl at this hypocrite every time he opens his mouth. We are not taking it anymore. NOT THIS TIME.

Thank you Mr. Reid. And this HYPOCRITE, McCAIN has the gall to talk about bipartisanship!!!! Isn't that what Hillary is peddling? BIPARTISANSHIP. Only when it benefits Republicans.

Reid is right, of course, but Reid is so weak, who cares what he thinks? Ten minutes after he's gone people will say "who's Harry Reid?" Thanks for nothing, Harry.

If your state has already voted - tell your superdelegates to "Sh*t or get off the pot"! We don't care who you endorse - just do it! http://tinyurl.com/6njr7e

That's right Harry, tell them like it is. McCAin won't be getting away with that sweet little picture of himself for long.

McCain is a small petty little man.
Anyone who is for this war is evil too

"small petty little man." Truth to power and fools. Thanks. I have an off-the-wall book for you which describes such as McCain. It's by the noted 'nut' Wilhelm Reich: "Listen, Little Man." It's kind of fun when you read these chumps like McCain into it. You don't even have to be a Reich-ian psychologist to enjoy!

I called and spoke to a republican I have argued with for years today. We had more in common today than at any time. The hardest part will be, and I am generalizing here, the people over 50 who want to believe he is a muslum or because he is black, or any idiotic reason to justify their republican vote. But just talking to friends and family calmly, not expecting them to change, helps.

I don't know about that Mr. Reid. This spin is not quite working. Obviously McCain has crossed party line enough time that John Kerry thought asked him to be his VP. A Democratic presidential candidate don't ask a neoncon to be his VP without some major respect.

"I think as soon as we get this problem worked out between Obama and Clinton..."
Yes, you do that, Harry Reid. Work out that problem...instead of sitting on your butt and waiting for a miracle to happen. Bill and Hillary are running this show, and this party, at present, and they will continue to do so unless and until the leaders show some spine.

A spine? From Reid? Not likely.
I find him totally underwhelming.

...and Harry Reid has NEVER crossed the aisle to get anything done. As a matter of fact he really hasn't acomplished anything for quite awhile. I guess he has something do with with the 17% approval rating for Congress.

Harry means well, but unfortunately he does come across as a weak leader. I hope that soon they select a new Majority Leader, someone with oomph, like maybe Feingold, or Boxer, someone with *chutzpah* who will get and stay in the Rethugs face!

well jeeez, thank you Harry.
Wondered if you were still out there!
Maybe one day you'll actually do the job American democrats want you to do.
But won't hold my breath.
Hopefully when Obama is elected your fellow dems will wake up and replace you.
