"Leaked": ABC's Stephanopoulos Interviews John McCain

Last week's Democratic debate in Philadelphia was an abysmal display of journalism. By sticking to trivial topics for half of the debate, ABC sought to provoke controversy without asking the candidates serious questions. The Huffington Post's Jason Linkins wrote that the debate "ventured into territory so utterly asinine that I could scarcely believe what I was witnessing."

Ironically, the mainstream media have been giving John McCain a free ride while trying to pin Clinton and Obama with manufactured "gotcha" questions. In fact, they don't seem to be challenging McCain at all. So there's no reason to think ABC's brand of pseudo-journalism won't continue tomorrow morning, when George Stephanopoulos will interview McCain on his show.

We used satire in this video because we felt it's our most effective way to make a point about the shoddy journalism coming from ABC. The network was so desperate to stir up controversy at the debate that Stephanopoulos took incendiary remarks from FOX's Sean Hannity and tried to pawn them off as his own question.

You know, sometimes you've just gotta walk away from these talking head shows. I'm a politics/news junkie, always have been. But to save my sanity, I have to tune out the bs when I hear the least bit of it from any of my news sources...­especially msm. When I heard Sam 'I Glue My Toupee Onto My Head' Donaldson make that insane comment, I put on my running shoes and headed out to the park to take in some fresh, un-shat-upon air. That, and donating my little ducketts to the Obama campaign, helps keep me sane in all of this ignorant, bigoted madness.

They asked unanswered questions of this freshman senator that MANY people wanted to know and have answered. They have had 21 debates for God's sake. We know where they stand on Health care and the Iraq war. What we don't know is why Obama continued to belong to a hateful church led by a anti american bigot pastor and why he did indeed have relations accepting fund raising parties etc from terrorist David Ayers. This is REALLY important stuff. It is amazing how ABC is being made to be the bad guys when they asked the tough questions of Obama that many American voters want to be answered. ...and he still refuses to give a straight answer. This Obama is a complete joke.

Last month Hillary and Bill's pastor William Procanich was sentenced for 3 years for the assault of a 7 year old girl! Um..... Not much talk about that. Is it because he is not a black man? Sexual abuse of a minor, nice!

Religion should not even be a factor in any race. It is religion that has caused more pain than anything else. What do you think they have been fighting for in Iraq for over 100 yrs. The founding fathers made it clear in the constitution there should be separation of church and state. This administration has used religion.

Hagee thinks that Hurricane Katrina is the result of gays! He wants to bomb Iran to fulfill his biblical prohecy of Armageddon in Israel. Um... sane thought!

Jerry Falwell is also very special, I wonder which pastor/church McCain would choose? Falwell was an "agent of intolerance" but McCain embraced him also. Which church would McCain choose to kneel down with???

We all know the message Rev. Wright was making. Obama has said he does not agree with it. If that is what you want to concentrate on , go ahead. There are plenty of people in America that agree with Obama and you will just have to take your MEDS and deal with it!
