Former President Bill Clinton, speaking to reporters after his wife's event in Pittsburgh, PA Monday, said that under the republican primary system -- his wife would be ahead by hundreds of delegates.

"I did not actually get the delegates necessary to have a first power of the nomination under the crazy system the democrats have," Clinton said. "If we were under the republican system which is more like the electoral college, she would have a 300 delegate lead ...It's an eternity 'til the general election, an eternity."

She would also be leading in the Soviet Union as the only candidate, and in apartheid South Africa as the only white candidate, and so on and so on.

If he keeps saying these incredibly stupid statements, he is going to blow his own legacy among Democrats out of the water. For everyones sake, most notably your wifes, just shut up, Bill.

My suggestion to Bill and Hillary, is join the republican party, you're 90% of the way already. Your
argument is stupid and irrelevant, I'd expect a little better from a former Rhodes scholar.

Funny she acts like a republican and now Bill wishes she was one. The great right wing conspiracy must be over for the Clintons. They are wannabe righties.

So, does this mean that Bill wants the party to change the rules -- now -- so they can win?

It the rules would have been different, Obama's strategy would have been different and she would have mismanaged that campaign. His campaign is out playing her and would have beaten her anyway. She can only claim victory by keeping score in ways that were not agreed on from the beginning.

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are both corporate, centrist Democrats. Obama slightly to the left. If Hillary ran against McCain or any other Republican she would barely get any Republican votes. Most of her votes would come from Democrats. If she is a Republican, most Republicans would not vote for her I assume. Dennis Kucnich and the policies he proposed compared to Obama's and Clinton's were true non-corporate progressive ones. I hope the Democratic nominee will make a pledge to cut the military budget at the least.

His theory has already been proven false. I cant' fin the link, but someone did a study on how Obama's delegate & popular lead would be even more had the caucus states been actual primaries. He won overwhelmingly in those caucuses and if I remember correctly, they formulated that if the popular vote was counted properly (they aren't right now being caucuses). he actually be ahead by close to 2 million votes.

Wish I could find the article. Anyone else?

In any case...

Shut the f*&K up already, Bill. You're bullshit stink to high heaven.
