Michael Moore endorses Obama in a commentary on his site:

[O]ver the past two months, the actions and words of Hillary Clinton have gone from being merely disappointing to downright disgusting. I guess the debate last week was the final straw. I've watched Senator Clinton and her husband play this game of appealing to the worst side of white people, but last Wednesday, when she hurled the name "Farrakhan" out of nowhere, well that's when the silly season came to an early end for me. She said the "F" word to scare white people, pure and simple. Of course, Obama has no connection to Farrakhan. But, according to Senator Clinton, Obama's pastor does -- AND the "church bulletin" once included a Los Angeles Times op-ed from some guy with Hamas! No, not the church bulletin!

This sleazy attempt to smear Obama was brilliantly explained the following night by Stephen Colbert. He pointed out that if Obama is supported by Ted Kennedy, who is Catholic, and the Catholic Church is led by a Pope who was in the Hitler Youth, that can mean only one thing: OBAMA LOVES HITLER!

Yes, Senator Clinton, that's how you sounded. Like you were nuts. Like you were a bigot stoking the fires of stupidity. How sad that I would ever have to write those words about you. You have devoted your life to good causes and good deeds. And now to throw it all away for an office you can't win unless you smear the black man so much that the superdelegates cry "Uncle (Tom)" and give it all to you.

But that can't happen. You cast your die when you voted to start this bloody war. When you did that you were like Moses who lost it for a moment and, because of that, was prohibited from entering the Promised Land.

How sad for a country that wanted to see the first woman elected to the White House. That day will come -- but it won't be you. We'll have to wait for the current Democratic governor of Kansas to run in 2016 (you read it here first!).

There are those who say Obama isn't ready, or he's voted wrong on this or that. But that's looking at the trees and not the forest. What we are witnessing is not just a candidate but a profound, massive public movement for change. My endorsement is more for Obama The Movement than it is for Obama the candidate.

That is not to take anything away from this exceptional man. But what's going on is bigger than him at this point, and that's a good thing for the country. Because, when he wins in November, that Obama Movement is going to have to stay alert and active. Corporate America is not going to give up their hold on our government just because we say so. President Obama is going to need a nation of millions to stand behind him.

Good for MM. I'm a supporter and his explanation for supporting Obama is well thought out and worth listening to. I agree with his reasoning. Hillary has lowered herself to Thug party tactics.

Obama is worse in his tactics. Michael Moore was going to go with Obama because of the war any ways.

His letter on his web site is even better than this excerpt. I almost began to forward it frantically, but then his sentence: "In that Constitution, they wrote that a black man or woman was only 'three fifths' human" stopped me. Women were not considered three-fifths human. Slaves were considered three-fifths human.

Besides that, right on!

I was turned off by the ABC debate, too. But I've been turned off by Hillary for the past two months now. If you already were a Hillary supporter you probably don't like Obama. And you probably don't realize that she's been trying to pull Obama into the sewer, because she's just attacking the "other guy". Well kids, the "other guy" is a Democrat and if she manages to win this, she's gonna be in for a shock when half the party doesn't show up for her in November.

Here's Hillary's march to Victory.

He meant a black man or a black woman "Black man or woman"...any Black person was counted by the Constitution, each state, and the federal government as 3/5 of a person for purposes of taxation and representation.

The Southern slave states with larger Black populations would benefit in terms of receiving/requiring more REPS to Congress by having a larger number but would also owe more taxes to the federal government which at the time was also calculated by population.

The non-slave states also agreed that some ratio was required and only squabbled about the ratio. The north preferred a lower ratio to reduce political power in Congress of Southern states so even the 60% represented another victory of sorts for the pro-slavery lobby that kept allowances for slavery in both the Declaration of Independence AND The Constitution over the objection of all the New England states, most mid-Atlantic states and even some notable Southern gentlemen like Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration, himself.

I guess the bottom line for me has always been Senator Clinton's decision not to run in '04.

I'm not sure why she chose to wait but I believe that decision cost us dearly. Had she run in '04, she may not have won but because she chose to wait she couldn't really throw her and her husband's full support behind Senator Kerry - that could have meant at least 4 years of a Kerry administration which would have delayed her run by at least 8 years (she wouldn't run against a sitting president). So why did she wait? Was she afraid of running against W? If she is as tough as her campaign says she is, why did she wait until now to run?

Did she think Bush would come to his senses and turn things around? Did she think that 31 years of experience were not enough? Did she think that a Clinton couldn't clean up after a Bush in '04? Did she think the war was going well enough to let Bush keep going?

I doubt anyone truly believes she never thought about running and just had an epiphany last year. So my question is this - What is her reason/motivation for running for president? - and more importantly - What is so different now that she decided not to run in '04?

You guys have got to see this video. Ed Rendell and Farrakan. Hillary should be ashamed of herself. Another thing that I noticed in the Paul Vs Clinton Youtube is Ed Rendell. So I think that Ed Rendell is a little deceptive himself. Please look at the video and think back to the debate and whose name Hillary brought up. Thanks to Better100

Ed Rendell is a very popular in Pennsylvania. There is nothing that will change that.
He is very well liked in Philadelphia, and that can only help Hillary tomorrow.

As a Philadelphian who voted for Rendell for mayor and governor, I can tell you that he is not liked as much right now and neither is our Mayor Nutter. Both have committed what I consider to be political suicide which is why you now see Rendell taking a softer tone. Regarding Mike's insights, I too am disgusted by HRC and I am a bitter Pennsylvanian but I guess shelling out $150.00 per week for gas will do that to ya!

I still believe that the democratic party election process has to change. The way it is now its just to exausting and chaotic for the candidates and voters.
I son't understand what is the big hurry for any ot the 2 candidates to drop out when either one feel is being cheated out if not the nominee. Hope the democratic party has finally learned by this election's mistakes caused mainly byt the party leaders.

Michael's new friends:
Much has been already discussed about Barack Obama’s disturbing associations with
a domestic terrorist (Ayers), to a prominent Palestinian advocate of suicide bombings
(Khalidi), a corrupt Iraqi billionaire (Auchi), a sleazy personal fundraiser and
mafioso (Rezko), and to his own genocidal maniac of a cousin from Kenya (Odinga),
for whom Obama led a “positive” campaign effort to achieve his “election” a few
years back. As many of us know, Obama’s camp has recently taken a defensive stance
and have dedicated countless hours to spread the word around the internet that these
issues are “irrelevant” to a Presidential campaign and that bringing them up are
thus a full exemplification of “dirty politics”.

REPOST OF EARLIER RESPONSE TO THIS SAME CLOWN:

Absolutely correct, FighterVsUSA....way too much. So how about we stop it, and talk about some real issues? Instead of about someones past associates? About people vaguely, if even at all, linked to Obama, as per the MSM? These issues are "Irrelevant" to me.......especially now that my Mortgage went up by $600 (suspiciously the same amount of this so-called "Tax Rebate" check which I have yet to receive). Especially when my son is draft age. Especially when I could be recalled back into the army at any time, and be playing in the Sandbox. Especially when my newly purchased flag pin, from Walmart, says "Made in China" when I flip it over. As long as you HillBot losers continue to harp on horseshit issues, is as long as I will continue to bring real issues to the forefront on venues such as HuffPost, and in my personal conversations. The more you pound out the Silly Season stuff, the more I pile on Hillary/McMummy/Bill/Bush/Bob Johnson/Charlie Rangel/Rove/Rendell/Cheney/KBR/Haliburton/Ferraro and the cast of thousands behind them attempting to downgrade the US into a 3rd world country or a banana republic, but with no bananas....because they are all grown in Colombia or Taiwan. posted 04/21/2008 at 12:19:21

Two of your comments from other posts:

"Tell you what This party will lose millions of democrats this time. They are prefering to give the nomination to a QUESTIONABLE inexperienced Obama than to an experienced hard working WOMAN. Its soooo obvious!"

"I read on another site that Obama has enough gadfathers in the Ara/muslim world working for him to get as much money as possible. We all know that money $$$ is no problem in the Arab world. Someday, somehow will all come out about those millions. Hope it won't be tooooo late."

All I can say is, "Wow!" How are we supposed to fight racism, sexism and other bigotry when one of our own candidates has supporters with views like these? It's very disturbing.

RWE - Be nice and polite you are now seeing history with old politics out and new politics in. Do you know how to say, President Barrack Obama?

Now on the lighter side, I hope his rhetoric matches his words and true change occurs. If not out he goes and on to another. What our elustrious inane President Bush has left behind, give the man some time to alter course and improve our standing in the world. Talking to Republican conservatives is like talking to a adolescent but I understand neo cons I direct this comment to , you are slow. So no problem I have the time.

Consider the short political career of Edward Mezvinsky, Father of Chelsea Clinton's soon to be husband Marc.

Ed Mezvinsky served 2 in Congress 1973-1977. Marc's mom, Known as Triple M, was in the media before her own short service as a Congress woman in 1992-1994.

Some political failures can send their kids to the best private schools and the most competitive private universities.

Marc Mezvinsky and Chelsea Clinton stayed in the tight circle special offspring through their graduation from Stanford in 2001.

Marc is a Banker for Golden Sachs and already owns an apartment in Grammercy Park worth 3.8M$ .

Chelsea is at.McKinsey & Co.,in financial-services consulting and advising in the health-care and pharmaceutical fields.

After politics Sr Mezvinsky had a 12 year career in Fraud with Nigerians.

In 2001, Mezvinsky was indicted and pleaded guilty to 31 of 69 charges of bank fraud, mail fraud, and wire fraud. Nearly $10 million was involved in the crimes. He was due to be released from federal prison on April 12, 2008

He was always trying to find the business deal that would make him as wealthy as all the people in his social circle.

The Mezvinkskys were close to Bill and Hillary Clinton and were frequent guests at White House .

Prosecutors say Mezvinsky used his connections to the Clintons and his son's social relationship with Chelsea to persuade people to give him money to participate in the scams.

Excellent piece Mr. Moore. I've friends who support Hillary because they like her health care plan better. But president HRC will never get it passed so who care what her plan says. She is a devisive toxin. And old school hack politician. I supported her a year ago but she's dead to me with the slimy tactics she's taken.

You're right, it's not Obama the man but the movement behind him. It will take his leadership and our strength to break the strangle hold big business has on our country.

And I think that while everyone is doing their usual back-and-forth bashing of both candidates, you are missing the real point: The movement of people young and old behind Sen. Obama excited to be involved in a campaign that could actually bring the government's focus back onto us.

How exactly does this help the democratic party? Why have we become the party of mud slinging? If Michael Moore wants to endorse Obama for something positive that he has done, great, but why does he have to alienate half of the democratic party in the process? What is he going to do when Hillary is the VP on the ticket and everyone uses his words to help McCain get elected? All the Obama supporters need to stop the hate and look at the positive in your candidate without trashing the other.
