President Bush made a cameo on NBC's Deal or No Deal on Monday to cheer on a U.S. veteran who had done three tours in Iraq (as Howie Mandell pointed out, one of them was involuntary, thanks to Bush's 'stop loss' policy).

Bush thanked the contestant for his service in Iraq, and joked about his own low approval numbers. "I'm thrilled to be on Deal or No Deal' with you tonight," Bush said. "Come to think of it, I'm thrilled to be anywhere with high ratings these days."

Self-effacing leaders can silence a horde of dismal, disgruntled grumblers with just a smile.

Go, George!

Yes, our Mr. Bush is getting a load of crap for nothing, the economy and the war are stupendous. Quit picking on him. You would all get better educated while improving your English language skill if only you gave this true man a chance to speak.. It's just not fair. Suck it up and accept true leadership, BUSH. HA, HA, HA. HA and the HAs go on to perpetuity.

Now please read George Bush's new best selling novel, "Hiding in a closet can be fun.", or was it called "The Terrorist bogeyman will get you".

Once, just once I would like to hear someone who works for PEACE to be lauded as a hero in the mass media. Yes, the soldier is just doing what he believes is right; yes he undoubtedly has tremendous physical courage -- but he is a pawn, A PAWN in a criminal endeavor. Militarism exploits the naivitee of idealistic young people, The need for young men to prove themselves, or the loyalty between comarades-in-arms. But ultimately, the soldier is in the business of killing -- in this case killing Iraqis who oppose the occupation of their country. He's not my hero. The whole military worshiping display on Deal or No Deal makes me want to vomit! I won't be watching that show again.

Give the man a break. Bush is a real human being unlike Obama-(Soundbite) and Hillary (Fake). Go McCain '08.

Did Rush and Sean Hannity give you permission to vote for John McCain, because my Republican family members just hate the guys guts. They hate him more than anyone on this blog. I asked them why they hate him so much and its because Rush and the right wing have been hammering him for years. Now McCain has repackaged himself to appeal to the big middle, who are going walk away from him in mass if he keeps on playing to the fringe base. No one wants another warmongering neo-con for president. The GOP has grown smaller and poorer, not to mention apathetic and you have W to thank for it.

When a Democratic candidate is selected and can train their guns on McCain, he will get blown out the water, because he has no domestic platform, except more supply side bullshit. He can't run to center without leaving the fringe base behind, who actually believe Rush tells the truth, or that phony Catholic convert Laura Ingram"s, with her diamond studded Crucifix. I"m a catholic and don"t know any Catholics who were a super-sized diamond studded Crucifix. By the way is Ann Coulter transgender; it's hard to tell?

I believe George Bush is a human being, not a very good one. Presidents tend to need to listen to their citizens in order to lead, Bush just doesn"t.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 04:26 PM on 04/22/2008

Bush is a war criminal. He laughs while others die. Your sympathy/empathy is misguided.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:03 PM on 04/22/2008

Why should we give George Bush a break?

What sort of break did HE give the thousands of dead U.S. soldiers and hundreds of thousands of dead citizens in Iraq?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 05:38 PM on 04/22/2008

Ick.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:54 PM on 04/22/2008

Is that why I didn't watch the show?? I must be a non-supporter of Bush. I think that 4 yrs was good enough for his father, 4 years should have been good enough for him as well. I'm don't care about the political world. I do believe that Bush could have done a better job as a president. And the only reason why he got elected in Florida the first time because his brother was the Gov. Plain and simple. Now come on people let's get someone into the white house that can do a better job and doesn't have to have a sibling jack their election.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:44 PM on 04/22/2008

This is so clever ... the namesake of the precise methodology of how our government has been run since GWB took office, is host to his cameo appearance. We wrote an article about White House gambling before this was ever announced.

http://binx101.wordpress.com/2008/04/09/white-house-gambling/

George Bush will be regarded as the worst president in history once the American public is done with the hangover. He started a needless war, disenfranchised at least 1/4 of the population and cheered by idiots as their hero.

I applaud George W. Bush for having a sense of humor about himself.
Well done.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:15 PM on 04/22/2008

yeah, this morally reprehensible person should be cut some slack for his lying, his corruption, his greed. what are you even talking about? in the real world, war criminals are not consider human enough to have empathy for and certainly would not be applauded for fiddling while others die for their crimes. your focus on his "humanity" instead of his crimes against humanity are misplaced. are you empathetic of other war criminals as well? this creep should be in jail.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 06:02 PM on 04/22/2008

Yes, a sense of humor is good. And it's nice that he was on in support of a serviceman.

But I think it would speak volumes to our men and women serving in HIS war if he'd actually attended one of the funerals of one of their comrades who "didn't make it home."

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 04:34 PM on 04/22/2008

Yes, for once in his life Bush is in touch with the American people who have been laughing at him for years now.

The Chimpster In Chief has debased his role to Jester In Chief...instead of being the steady, caring ruler...he's become Crusty the Clown in front of the whole world...there's nothing he won't stoop to to get a cheap jock laugh.

He continues to show what a clueless, stupid a**hole he is, and in doing so, damages the image of the US in front of the whole world on a daily basis...

Impeach, Indict, and Impound! I hope I'm not dissing animals with that last one...

Why is ANYONE giving the idiot attention.
Turn your collective backs on the Redneck that along with his cronies, looted OUR National Treasury and skunked us all in the end. He is a complete embarrassment. To allow him to mock his self and his own presidency is a big Fuck You to America.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:44 PM on 04/22/2008

Howie Mandel who? The last decent roll this guy had was the stupid intern on Saint Elseware, about the time it"s ratings began to fall. He must have been doing Vegas before he turned up on this crummy show with the shaved head. He"s not a particularly talented stand up comic, sort of like what Wayne Newton is to music, another Vegas lounge lizard, than again I have a high bar. I think it's a perfect venue for a tap dancing clown like Bush, but not for the president of the United States.

Before the trolls get there panties in a twist, I think Bill Clinton"s blow job dishonored the office of the president also, the difference being Clinton was far more competent and far less ideological. Bush-Cheney are going to wonder from one scandal and screw up to the next, until the country is rid of him in November 09. The question is, how much damage can they do?

Bush=Shrub.

Bush's brain=bonsai plant.

The arrogant putz (like his Veep) doesn't give a rat's ass about what his employers think of him. Of course, in Bush-world, he was chosen by God and we mere mortals are just his subjects. 272 days, 23 hrs, 38 mins, 30 secs until George leaves office and democracy is restored.

One thing that makes you lunatic lefties worst then right wing wakos is lack of respect.
As one that does not agree with Pres Bush's policies, really get upset when lonies like you post this hatefull messages about the President.
Shame on you
PS: bet you never said a thing when re Wright was ranting hate America speaches

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:06 PM on 04/22/2008

Bush deserves no respect. The things he has done to this country should allow him to be ridiculed and hatred for the rest of his days. If you do not like what other people say about this twit then maybe you should post elsewhere

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 03:20 PM on 04/22/2008

You're right...I have no respect for someone who never had any respect for me or my views or for those who died in Katrina or the brave men and women who have died or been injured in a manufactured war or....you get the picture. I do have respect for those who hold conservative views and honestly care about differing views and the good of our country...like Sen. Hagel. Why do you get upset when you fan the flames by calling people names yourself?

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 02:39 PM on 04/22/2008

"One thing that makes you lunatic lefties worst (sic) then (sic) right wing wakos is lack of respect."

You are equating respect for the office of the President of the United States with respect for George W. Bush. The former is proforma; The latter has to be earned - and it has not. Moreover, George has little or no respect for the citizenry. Thus, the lack of respect for him is reciprocal.

When people mislead, they deny others the ability to make a cognitive decision. If one wants respect, he must first give respect by telling the truth. George lied us into a war. George has ruined our reputation abroad, our economy, the machinery of government, our faith in his office and our confidence.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 01:31 PM on 04/22/2008

BTW, George is OUR employee; Wright is not.

era996,

Wright has said nothing -- in those 30 seconds of sound bites from a 30-year career -- that African-American neighbors and friends of mine have not admitted to me in confidence.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:34 PM on 04/22/2008

Rev. Wright is all American. Wright served his country in uniform. Bush is anti-American.

favoriteFavorite Flag as abusive Posted 12:31 PM on 04/22/2008

Firstly, Rev. Wright is not the President of the United States, therefore your PS is irrelevant. Criticism of Bush is not disrespectful of the Office. The "right wing wackos" you reference give respect (a pass) where none is due. The patriotic don't follow along blindly because its "the respectful" thing to do, they have an obligation to stand up and criticize when our leader chips away the Constitution. Why this guy hasn't been impeached, perhaps indicted, is beyond my comprehension.

A little man wearing homespun cotton marching to the ocean to make salt as was his human right gets my respect.

A man talking about "dreams" and peacefully marching in the face of violence and oppression gets my respect.

A woman working two jobs to support her children gets my respect.

Fearmongering liars get my abhorrence...

George W. Bush is a sociopath. Llike Ted Bundy and Drew Peterson, he has no feelings for anyone but himself. Literally.

For Bush, words, language, and gestures, have zero emotional impact - so he can say and do whatever he thinks he has to say to get what he wants from people. He can lie, and feel no remorse.

The vast majority of such people are not killers or lying politicians -- They actually tend to be successful: because they have no real empathy for other people (but they know how to
