Chris Matthews Declares The PA Polls Closed Thirty Minutes Early

In the clearest sign yet that tonight is going to be a long night for the media, Chris Matthews got a familiar quiver up his leg and without warning, declared before his viewing audience that it was eight o'clock and the polls in Pennsylvania were closed. The only problem was it was only seven-thirty and there was a big ol' clock right there on the ticker that clearly said that polls would be open for another half hour. None of the professional newsmen in the room said a word, either because they were too dumbfounded to respond or because they just really, really, really, really wanted this primary to be over. Buckle up, people: this is going to be a bumpy ride.

MSNBC should be ashamed of itself for hiring Chris Matthews and Joe Scarborough. They are smarmy, obnoxious windbags who make a mockery of journalism every time they open their mouths.

Neither is a journalist! Matthews has always been a political hack and Scarborough an actual political candidate. Neither can EVER claim a journalism background, which requires a.) an objective reporting of 2.) facts. Their whole strategy was to minimize his wins as 'oh he's black and doing well because he is in a black state,' or he's just a flash in the pan and these youngsters don't know what they're doing, they're too young and dumb! It is clear to everyone that their strategy is to minimalize every victory Obama has had and earned. Does Chris or even Keith for that matter have the guts to bring this up? No one speaks of it, even though it is so obvious! Even Chris who cannot keep his mouth shut about anything..­.manages not to mention this obvious but subtle bigotry. The CLINTON tactic and strategy is to suggest a black man cannot be elected as President! Maybe they are right but even if they are, it does not give them the right to steal this nomination or to be so disgusting. I am older, I am white, I don't make $50,000 per year...I struggle but I will tell you this...

Actually Chris Matthews alluded to it tonight. He said that he knows those neighborhoods. They made up their mind in 1957. And I agree. I grew up in Balto, just as racist... to think that the Clintons would play to this redneck vote is just pitiful.

Yes I agree, this is a waste of an article to go on and on about that half witted Matthews! Why isn't someone explaining why Hillary and Bill did so well in this state and other Mid-west states where the majority of the state's "class" are older white men and women like me? Could it be that these struggling poor and uneducated white folk have a huge hint of bigotry in them and would not vote for a black man even if hell froze over...I am from the Midwest and I left Michigan because of it's intolerance, ignorance and bigotry and I am so glad I did. It is possibly why I am still alive today.

Bill and Hillary knows just how to speak to these folks and they have been doing it all along...no­w Bill Clinton is suggesting Obama played the race card on him way back when he (Bill) was speaking of Obama's winning in South Carolina and comparing it to Jesse Jackson's. Their whole premise of why Obama is not electable is because he's black!
