Many of the predictions from the first Earth Day never came true. Among them was the "population bomb" and "global cooling".

It just goes to show that the "experts" don't always get it right. What makes us think that they are right now?

Taking good care of the earth is a good idea. I like clean air and water too. Just stop telling me that my SUV is raising the temperature of the earth, because it's not and nobody has yet to prove that it is.

Also, stop telling me that higher taxes and bigger government will bring the temperature back down.

It won't.

Get over yourselves Libss, you can't change or control the climate.

Yeah, lots to be thankful for where the greenies are concerned.

Starvation, food riots, COSTCO in the United States limiting the sale of rice. Think about that.

Poor people worldwide have no bigger enemy than American greenies.

Their fearless leader Al Gore is one of the biggest culprits. He was pushing the ethanol crap back in 1998 while Vice President.

More proof that liberalism always generates the exact opposite of it's stated intent.

We all need to do our part. Do what you can to save resources and create new ones, it all adds up!

It also feels good!

Folks, this posts sums up liberalism. Even if what you do doesn't work, as long as you feel good, that's all that counts. Oh yeah, impressing your friends is important too.

"Results? They can't handle results!"

A mindless, emothional display of trying to feel better about yourself; sort of like voting for Obama.

Nothing harms more people than does American liberalism.

Will Bush hold off burning the pile of old tires he has at his ranch?

Seeing as Mr. Bush has an eco-friendly ranch, much more enviromentally friendly than the Goracle, I'd say he has no such pile of old tires.
Reality is just an inconvenient concept for you hufftards isn't it.

The President also never used a computer generated special effect, from a fictional movie. and claimed it was a "documentary."

Reality only seems to be convenient for Bush's ranch itself - as the leader of the United States, Bush had 7+ years to show how important conservation was, and had what even his political opponents agree is a very eco-friendly ranch to show concrete proof. Instead he's been the worst president on ecology ever, pushing increased oil usage, cutting into wetlands, logging more national forests, getting rid of emissions, repealing tax penalties for polluters - and yes, increasing tax breaks for them too.

But ya know what, I'm glad he's got an eco-friendly ranch, the sooner he goes back to it, and leave the rest of us to get on with fixing the economic, political and yes, ecological disaster he's made of our country, the better.
