Hillary Clinton

International Herald Tribune:

As Pennsylvania voters cast their ballots in Tuesday's Democratic primary, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and her advisers were already preparing for an all-out battle through the last nomination contests in early June, though many in her camp agree that she needs victories, not only in Pennsylvania, but also in Indiana in two weeks.

Clinton advisers were predicting a victory over Senator Barack Obama in Pennsylvania, though a narrow one. Indeed, two associates of Clinton said she was taking nothing for granted, and they even predicted that she would end her campaign if she were to lose this primary.

Obama's chances of winning the General Election are eroding by the day, if he has any left, as Hillary foments racist fears aiding the Republicans. Hillary, on the other hand, has no chance of winning at all.

Indiana was the wonderful state that gave us the revived KKK (look it up) and Dan Quayle. Democrats are seriously deluded if they don't think Hillary will win that state by a sizeable margin. Trust me. Indiana is worse than Ohio. It's alot like Kentucky. I know. I've travelled there frequently from the SW Ohio (probably the most racist part of our state).

Well if they want to change this government they better vote for obama. Obama going to turn up the heat on her. What if he does an ad with her lying about Bosnia and tell the world is it her who you think is going to provide Health care to all Americans, she couldn't provide the truth about her experience.

Agreed! How in the world is the next must win state for HRC Indiana? WTF I feel like I am living in the land of the lost (cool show by the way...remember that one??) Anyway...How is it that PA with all the demographics and the machine against Obama..is a battleground and NC is simply glossed right over???

It is truly remarkable how low the bar gets set for HRC and her campaign. This is someone you would want running our country claiming she can fix the economy and her campaign is 10 mil in debt with 9 mil on hand (-1mil). Off message...no strategy...running on pure BS at this point. Versus a guy that has managed a campaign which raises money...spends wisely..and is 42 mil in the black.

My God...come on people.

INDY AND NC I am counting on you!!!

NC is glossed over (at least by the MSM) because it is pretty much a given that Obama is going to win it. Because his winning in NC isn't "news" in that it doesn't prolong the horserace between Clinton & Obama they are going to try and ignore it.

IN - if Hillary Clinton pulls off a win there (given - it would have to be one whopper of a win at this stage) gets to drag it out even longer before Obama is nominated. Hillary can't win (and she knows it) at this stage unless it goes to the Convention marginally unresolved AND if she can convince enough of the superdelegates to push her through.

I am really hoping the state of my birth (yes - I was raised a Hoosier) has enough working class Democrats to finish off Hillary's campaign by voting for Obama. Unless she loses NC big time, and IN by even a fraction she is going to try and run this out until the convention.

Bill and Hillary are counting on one Thing and one thing only, "SUPERDELIGATES" There contention is, the deligate count, the pop vote, and the number of States one don't matter.

There hope is that the "SUPERDELIGATES" will over look all that and pick her. You know what, it probally will happen. What a shame.

I agree with "ChitownObamabot"

How can she manage a country when she can't manage her own campaighn.

There are at least a 100 venders in Ohio who still have not been paid by the Hillary Camp. If she won't honor the comment to her venders what makes you think she will follow through on her promises to you.

Sent $100 to Obama today. Hope Hillary bankrupts her supporters over a race she has already lost. She's just prolonging everyone's misery. And destroying any chance of beating McCain.

Hillary will not win in Indiana.

Take a close look at the map folks. Pay particular attention to the South side of Chicago. Now let your eyes wander down the lake front, just a tiny little bit. You are in Northern Indiana. That is Obama country, all the way down to Indianapolis. The University towns around Purdue and Notre Dame will also be strong for him. He should be able to hold his own against Hillary in that State. I expect that Hillary will get the rural, and Southern votes, but Obama will run strong in the rest of the population.

And cince Obama is already 5 points ahead of Hillary in Indiana I expect that number to grow.

She certainly won't win NC either. Obama is up by 25 points there, and 40K voters have already sent their ballots in.

You mean the 60% who say that Hillary is dishonest? Don't give up because I think PA is an anomaly in a way. The demographics favored her, older people who are afraid of change, and particularly a larger number of older women registered voters. In the entire US it's more like 50/50 women/men. Obama is beating her in all the national polls by about 10%. She has always been the one who is more unelectable on the national level. 50% of voters say they would not vote for her under any circumstances.

msemper!!!! i agree with you, FINALLY the first american with brains, how can those racist penns vote fo rsme1 who has demonstrated obvious INCOMPETENCE? i just dont get it, this is what happens in places like Zimbabwe and most parts of French Africa, i dont expect Americans to think like this!! a vote for Hilary is a vote into a world economy in tailspin, she cant manager her campaign and we expect that she will manage an economy this HUGE? ya right!!

North Carolina isn't a must win for Clinton?
Strange how that works.
The only legitimate votes were the ones she won.
The only important states are the ones she wins.
Guess that means my state is unimportant and our vote was illegitimate. Because my state supported Obama 3 to 2, and polls say that if Clinton is the nominee, my state will go to McCain. We are supposed to be a sure bet to go for the Democrats. Except when she is in the picture.

Thanks a lot, Hillary. You "win" and we all lose.

Obama must win Indiana, not Clinton. The superdelegates now know Obama is a very, very iffy proposition in the general election. He can't win the big state primaries. That means his base is very shallow. No Democrat has ever won the White House after losing the California, Ohio, New York, and Pennsylvania primaries.

After losing big in Pennsylvania despite having a huge spending advantage, momentum, and a fanatical following, Obama is shown to be a less than stellar candidate. Pennsylvania is a good reflection of the US and the types of voters the Democrats must capture to win the White House.

The reality is, Obama will not win the general election. Ohio, Florida, Missouri, Arkansas, and probably Pennsylvania will go red. That pretty much means electoral defeat.

Bielzibub, you devil. Obama will win Indiana, and blow away the monster in North Carolina. And at the same time break the monster's campaign because it is bankrupt.
Well devil, it is time to crawl back under your rock.

Well if in the general America goes red as you suggest then it was going to go red anyway.

Hillary certainly doesn't stand a chance.

If you have to choose between McCain and Hillary you can expect a pretty low turnout. Because no one but Hillary supporters on the Democratic side appear and McCain will get the rest and some crossovers.

I mean who wants to stand in long lines to vote for two uninspiring candidates. One closing in on senility (and I liked him at one time) and the other just out of there mind.

It' would be like waiting your turn for a injected STD. No thanks.

However I still think there will be an inspiring candidate.

I'll keep giving him money until she goes away.

Even IF Hillary Wins Indiana - It is virtually IMPOSSIBLE for her to Win either the Popular vote or the Delegates - EVEN IF Florida is counted.

Come ON INDIANA - Put an end to this train wreck - Hillary will use ANY excuse she can to continue and she is going to Cost the Dems the election (not that she cares, it has become increasingly obvious that she has absolutely NO problem sacrificing this party and our future on the alter of her ego!)
