Hillary Clinton

International Herald Tribune:

As Pennsylvania voters cast their ballots in Tuesday's Democratic primary, Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton and her advisers were already preparing for an all-out battle through the last nomination contests in early June, though many in her camp agree that she needs victories, not only in Pennsylvania, but also in Indiana in two weeks.

Clinton advisers were predicting a victory over Senator Barack Obama in Pennsylvania, though a narrow one. Indeed, two associates of Clinton said she was taking nothing for granted, and they even predicted that she would end her campaign if she were to lose this primary.

I think HRC will have a much more difficult time teasing votes here in Indiana than she did in PA.
The Democratic electorate here resembles Illinois far more than Ohio. While it is true we qualify as a "rust belt" state, our economy is much less dependent on steel than either Ohio or PA. I keep hearing the comparisons between Indiana and Ohio and PA. Nothing is further from the truth.

One sec please...

HA-HA-A-AA-HA-HA-A-HAHA-HA-HEHEEEE-HE-HHE-HE-HAAAAAH!

Hillary doesn't need to win Indiana. She needs divine intervention!

But who knows... maybe the skies will part, the celestial choir will sing, and everyone will know that voting for Hillary really isn't as stupid as it seems, right?!

Indiana should seal the election for Obam. Worthy of note: Obama has never lost a primary in any state that borders his home state of Illinois.
Also, the last two R*c**T poor states - Kentucky and West Virginia primaries will occur after the fact.
All Democrats hate West Virginia because the state voted for Bushie which kept Gore from winning his election. Florida should not have been an issue.

Please, let's not forget that NC is on the same day as IN. He has his best poll numbers ever there, +25, and 40 K people have voted already. Why is everyone always so eager to ignore the states where Obama has a blowout? IN is a Republican state, doc1400, but the latest poll average has them neck and neck there. I grew up in IN and don't think Hillary's knocking them down with the boys in a Crown Point bar would have gone over very big with most of the state.

Sure. They can assist by making phone calls, going door to door, helping raise money, answer calls, opening mail, organizing etc.

Are you interested in volunteering?

She is now making her win speech and acting as if she has just won the primary. I think that she was preety scared actually and is just happy to have one, however, it does not look like the percentage that she would have wanted, even though her campaign is saying that a win is a win.

I think that Obama has a lot to be proud of because he took away such a big win and kept his losses to a minimum, so in actuality her net gain in delegates and popular votes still leaves her behind. I don't think that Obama ever thought that he would win pa and that he did just what he was trying to do by holding her win percentage down.

So, what we have to look forward to now is the negative attacks to get worse and that look of desperation in her eyes. One thing that I must say however, is that whatever you do in life, it should always be with the idea that you are not ashamed of anything that you do and you can still look a person in the eye the next day, and this is where I think that Hillary will probably end up losing the most.

"acting like she just won a primary" - perhaps because she actually just DID win the PA primary?

With Indiana a must win for Hillary what do you think she will pull out to throw at Obama? What will she and her campaign fabricate for this next vote? Hillary is a sad person. Take a look at her speeches:

Hillary is delusional and a danger to herself and others. Someone needs to intervene and get her in a padded room. She has lost, lost, lost. What is her problem.

Uh, yeah, Hillary "must win" EVERY SINGLE LAST STATE from here on out. Doesn't the media GET IT? Every single state and territory from now until Puerto Rico and Guam is a "must win" for Senator Clinton.

Why is there so much hate here for Hillary? I think Obama voters have one emotion and it is hate. He will never carry OH, PA, FL, NY, and other major swing states. Hillary can win. This is so terrible. Obama has ruined everything with his poison.

Obama is winning the nomination because he is winning period!! If it was popular vote and all that Al Gore would be president today. What metrics above the table is Hilary using?

The exit polls do not bear your hypothesis out. More HRC voters say they will not vote for Obama then the other way round. And just who is throwing out poison. Look to you and yours.

He won't carry NY? You're out of your gourd. And for your information, neither Clinton or Obama would carry Florida. When is the last time a Democrat took Florida? It is Republican, Republican, Republican. Probably the same for Ohio. And Obama can win PA if John McCain turns out to be a disaster which is in the realm of probability.

The Clinton's poison has already contaminated the entire process. They should have their own country where no one can have an IQ over 12.

I agree. It is SHAMEFUL that the Dems have allowed the Clintons to foul everything they touch, including potentially placing the GE at risk.

Why does Obama have to win from behind in PA when he was down 20+% at the start? and she doesn't have to win in NC? Why is it that HRC gets away with that? Is she a f'n JEDI knight? She waves her hand and everyone is supposed to do what she says. Forget the rules they don't help HRC. Lets now think the pop vote, which she is loosing also is the marker. If that becomes out of reach it will be something else.

Of course that she only needs to wave her hands and superdelegates are afraid to come out and stop this madness. She must win 68% in the remaining 9 states to catch up with Obama but no one dares say anything because there are still voters voting for her not knowing that the race is over a long time ago!

let the race run. If he can win the rest of the states that's good for the GE. If the party shuts down the race now, it makes him look weak. specially at this point that his negatives are up and that he is seen as just another politician seeking office. The "hope" and "change" marketing glitz is not working anymore, people are looking for specific policies.

THEY ARE ALL MUST WIN BY HUGE MARGINS!!! LOOK AT THE F-ING MATH!!!

It isn't that hard to comprehend, she can't win, there is no path to victory, she needed 20%+ in PA and every other state, it is impossible, stop this BS already!

Umm, are you saying Barack Obama can win by the pledged delegate vote, because he can't.

He can only win with the superdelegates, as well.
