Maddow And Buchanan

During MSNBC's coverage of the Pennsylvania primary results Tuesday, Pat Buchanan got into a debate with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow about the significance of Obama being unable to finish off Hillary Clinton. In the midst of their discussion, Maddow argued that there was no connection between Obama's ability to beat Hillary Clinton and his ability to beat John McCain. How did Buchanan respond? Rather nonsensically, in that he advised Maddow to "hold the Marxist dialectic."

Pat Buchanan is proof of evolution. No, I'm not saying HE'S evolved, I'm saying WE'VE evolved well beyond this proto-human.

As this isn't the first time he's gone off on Maddow, (just a few weeks ago he told her to "shut up!"), I would be surprised if he doesn't see her as a threat to his manhood (such as it is).

It's long past time for Buchanan to sit down and STFU. And shame on MSNBC for bringing him back time after time in hopes that he will generate a few more YouTube moments for them.

MSNBC REALLY needs to give Rachel her own show.
She not only earned it, but it would do GREAT.

MSNBC is now officially the FOX Noise of the left. Nobody is fair and balanced these days. At least amongst the talking heads.

Is that why Pat called her a Marxist on MSNBC? Pat is on the right and allowed to express his views on MSNBC. A similar person on the left on Fox would be told to "shut up" every two seconds.

Pat is out there where the busses don't run.

I loved the look on Maddow's face. It's like.."what the fuck are you talking about, Pat?"

It is good she regained her cool right away. Pat would like her to be angry all the time, then he can label her an angry liberal.

WTF. Ol' Pat is losing it, in fact all these guys are losing it in the face of Rachel Maddow. I have enjoyed her radio show, not the biggest fan, but it's fine. BUT I love her as a sort of lightening rod for exposing the immature, egotistical, ideology driven weirdness of these lame ass pundits.
Keep your cool Rachel, don't step to far in with these guys because they wallow in feces.

Buchanan is one of a dying breed of humans that is past it's prime...thank God!
He does not seem to care for women, minorities OR their opinions.

I like to see him work.

It is like watching Micael Jordan play basketball.... I remember when

Pat Buchanan is getting a bit demented along the edges. He probably thought up that retort late one night but when it came to delivering it, he kinda got mixed up as to the timing and context of it all.

I say we ask MSNBC to put up a Pat Buchanan time clock to see how long it will be until the next time he embarrasses himself.

Seems Rachel has been tamed a bit since the last encounter with Joe Scarborough on Race to the White House. I don't know what they said to her, but she hasn't been as outspoken.

"Seems Rachel has been tamed"

Maybe MSNBC became a bit alarmed that Rachel Maddow's communication skills are so sharp that Joe Scarborough threw down his mike and made a hasty run for the exit in defeat.

I think Rachel is just letting them tie themselves up with their own tongues. She knows she doesn't have to say much. RACHEL is marvelous.

Clueless sexist GOP white dudes are a kick and fun to watch, too! Lesbians as a species don't exist on their planet, yet Ms Maddow dares intrude! Without their permission! Maddow is an assault on their exclusive and increasingly irrelevant orbit. And this infuriates them. And they're coming unglued! A la Scarborough, Orally, Hannity, Limbaugh, Beck. They know deep down that they are dinosaurs and that their time has passed. (My God! A black man and a woman are running for president!) And I expect the melt-downs to become progressively more dramatic. Stay tuned. This stuff is great. You go, Rachel!

and don't forget they're backing a candidate they gleefully watched GWB trash in 2000.when anyone makes the argument that Hillary's attacks on Bama help the GOP remember that the GOP made many arguments against McCain when he ran just eight years ago.

I only watch Pat Buchanan and Joe Scarborough for the comedy: the egos of these guys is displayed in their wildly exagerated mannerisms. Joe (stares at the camera with never blinking squinted laser eyes while freezing every other expression muscle in his face) Scarborough and Pat (speaking just below a scream and always looking intensely at the floor while chopping his hands wildly through the air) Buchanan have been given a substantial amount of time in front of MSNBC cameras. However, they have met their match with appearance of Rachel Maddow. I've watched that woman hold her own with the worst of them, and gets stronger with every encounter. If she was given her own show, I would definitely be in the audience.

She's tough enough to respond to outright bullies, which Pat and the Pseudo-Duke are.

With every passing day she is going toe to toe with the worst of them, and getting all the stronger for it.

She shook her head in disbelief because she couldn't believe Bat Puke-annon would just throw in the 1952 "Marxist" line out of nowhere and then plow ahead before she could respond.

He rehearsed it in the car, and put it in the wrong place in the conversation. He's the next to go farty in the head, to escape having to face full retribution for war crimes.

Bullies hate strong people. Actual strength is behaving the opposite of what a bully does.

It's so obvious form his apprearances on MSNBC of late that he does not want a black man as our President.

Just watcjh him the next time he's on and see how he reacts to an Obama Presidency.

Remember Pat was a Ron Paul supporter.

I don't know about Joe, but crazy uncle Pat IS, WAS, and WILL ALWAYS BE a bigot. They keep him on the TV so that they can laugh at his wacky "old-racist-guy" rhetoric.

The only reason people like Pat Buchanan are on MSNBC is to appease conservative critics. If they fire him, the right wing will claim MSNBC has a liberal bias. The need to appear balanced is one of the many things killing the MSM.

Why is Buchanan on television? What demographic does he represent? Failed white guys?

Hell, his claim to fame is he was a speech writer for Nixon . . . 40 YEARS AGO!!!!!

Why do we have to see the same tired old faces on cable? Any smuck off the streets could do as good a job of "political analysis/"

Lets not get into Joe Scarborough's past, including his rather abrupt departure from his House seat, that he held for about 45 minutes until a certain intern ended up not breathing anymore...in his office...at night...but lets not go there.
