If you spend enough time watching gangly Democratic blow-up doll Terry McAuliffe talking to pundits and reporters on the television, you start to realize that if the man ever stopped drooling with cloying, obsequious flattery, his brain might accidentally start working. This was never more true than on the night of the Pennsylvania primary, when he alienated just about every core constituency of the Democratic Party by throwing in a fawning little shout out to Fox News. If you haven't had your recommended daily full-body dry heave, why not take a look for yourself?

(Via Michael Calderone)

Yay! That was sure fun to watch, wasn't it? Well, it gets worse. Fox News has taken this footage and turned it into an advertisement showing the network isn't "pushing an agenda." Watch it:

Attaboy, Terry!

this is a reflection on how pathetic the left-wing media's fawning over obama has been...
imagine the level of frustration among clinton supporters that we have to go to fox to get an objective coverage of the race.....

it was amusing to watch olbermann and rachel maddows cribbing about this yesterday.... - all they need is to look in the mirror and see how 'objective' they have been... - unfortunately they have their heads so up obamas ... that they cant ...

as a clinton supporter i myself watch abc, cbs and fox for coverage knowing that msnbc, cnn and all the blogs especially huffpo are in the tank for obama...

Can't understand why in the heck he would go on that despicable Fake news program after the lynching he continuously receives. Why reward them for this conduct. They continue theyr'e outrageous attacks because they face no negative consequences.

I'm so disappointed by this decision.

Fox, Race to the WHite House and Dan Abrams have been the only somewhat balanced coverage towards HRC and OBama. Fox attacks both candidates unfairly, but at least they do it to both of them unlike Kieth O and Chirs Mathews.

Just as Hillary REFUSED to go on Chris Matthews college rally in Pa. Obama should NOT go on Fox ever - Fox has a group of bigoted hosts and Obama should not pander to bigots -

Hope Senator Obama brings the fire department and several WORKING fire extinguishers with him.

I remember the fiasco interview Wallace did with former President Clinton. Clinton stormed off the set and literally blasted his crew for letting him get 'sucked' into that interview. Seems the 'agreed upon' format was not followed.

Why does Senator Obama need fire department?? It takes fire equipment to put out burning crosses.........

There're disillusioned Republicans, Disillusioned Democrats, and then there are those who have "soled their souls to the company store."

I start to think that if there were a party for Disillusioned Americans they could run against corporate sell-outs and win a mandate.

One thing that is given little or no attention is Brit Hume's request to Karl Rove on the Penssylvania primary election night urging him to contact his 'friend" Ed Rendell to start releasing the results.
Brit Hume was impatient waiting for the results to come in and he said "Karl, Why don't you call Ed Rendell and ask him to facilitate releasing the results? Ed Rendell is a good guy, he is a friend of FOX news and yours; you have his cell phone number. Why don't you give him call"? And Rove answered "I will".

And now this!

The Clintons have no shame.

This question is for Clinton supporters only, please:

Can any Clinton supporters please explain to me why it is that the Republican party wants Senator Clinton to win so badly? I mean, Rush Limbaugh, Rupert Murdock, Richard Mellon-Scaithe, FOX News, and the McCain campaign all seem so solidly behind her for the primaries. What gives? I keep thinking the Republicans must feel she'd be the easier one to beat in November. Unless there is another explanation, don't you think that will make the remaining "Superdelegates" nervous?

This is a serious question, and I hope there won't be a lot of snarky responses. Thanks.

Once again Obama follows where hillary leads. She went to KO's show, and has been on it several times. The KO who night after night ( when I watched him and I'm told stiil) bashes hillary.

Obama was too much of pussy to be on FOX. And now he is going to go there with tails between the legas... LOL . how fitting...

Ho hum. It's funny how you Clinton kool-aid drinking suckers feel the need to emasculate Barack. It's almost like his manhood scares you and you have to be assured to cover your own insecurities. But at least try to keep it interesting you're starting to get predictable.

It is becoming apparent that Obama is the sole Democrat running now. Clinton is allied with Murdoch and Scaife. I predict that if she is the nominee she will invoke Ronald Reagan as her ideological role model and mentor.....

This "alliance" that Hillary has formed with Fox News and the Republicans in general is should be reason enough for and Democrat not to vote for her.
It also should put an end to the debate over wether Obama can win in the general election. Clearly the Republicans are terrified of facing Obama, and would love to face Hillary.
Why is that? Do you think they are so scared of Obama because he can't win?

I hope Sen. Obama had his own camera crew there to record this -- allowing FOX to pre-record you is dangerous. They'll be snipping and clipping!

I think it is healthy to repair the Democratic party. Discussion is healthy as well. So are conventions which were at one time, (prior to 1990) to have delagates chosen by States to pick candidate represnting the platform of the party, as well working out the platform.

This change is helping people understand that change is required.
Dean is in, Clintin/McAauliffe are out.
That's a change and why the process will destroy McCain's prospects and strengthen Obama's chances.
It's called "democracy" and it is action - not compliance to the rulers.
You got to love it!
