Rush Limbaugh Sings: "I'm Dreaming Of Riots In Denver"

DENVER (AP) - Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh downplayed his "dreaming of riots in Denver" statement, saying that he wasn't calling for riots and was referring to warnings of trouble if super delegates decide the nomination at the Democratic National Convention.

Limbaugh's comments on his syndicated show Wednesday prompted Mayor John Hickenlooper to say: "Anyone who would call for riots in an American city has clearly lost their bearings."

Limbaugh made his comment Wednesday to the tune of the holiday song, "White Christmas," and said riots during the convention would ensure Democrats don't get elected.

Glenn Spagnuolo, an organizer with the protest group Re-create 68, mimicked a comment by state Rep. Douglas Bruce, R-Colorado Springs, by saying: "We don't need another 5,000 illiterate Limbaugh listeners coming to Colorado."

...and who are these recreate68 guys anyway? There are no names on their website. As one who remembers the 60's, I also remember that the FBI and CIA just looooved to go into meetings and be the ones shouting, "Burn, baby, burn!" (For a more recent example, repeat after me, "Sears Tower.") Approach this movement with caution. Even if the recreate68 guys,are sincere in their desire to help the people wield their power, rather than destroying it by behaving like asses, be careful. Don't let yourselves get used.

Why Rush Limbaugh is not in leg irons right now is beyond belief! Say what? OK, a normal citizen on the streets encourages a crowd to incite violence, he is beat, sprayed and tasered all the way to the precinct, but for a national syndicated broadcast buffoon, inciting riots to MILLIONS of people- it's cool... I happened to catch part of his show today and I don't think you got it right, or maybe he just outright lied. Today the segment I heard was all about the summer of 68, the riots at the convention and how there is a far-left radical group that has a web site named something like summerof68 and how they are planning stuff for this years convention in Denver. An insurance salesman called up and said that if he were a business owner any where near the convention site he would board up. I don't trust these Republicans NOT to do something and then try to blame it on Democrats. Case in point, the "voters" in Florida who were protesting the recounts - they turned out to be Republican party operatives. The race of 2000 got really ugly in South Carolina and with the new North Carolina ad against Obama, I've got to wonder if some of what was going on wasn't spill over from North Carolina.

Dear Rush had better be very, very careful because if even one of his minion goes to Denver, incites a riot and someone gets hurt, Rush will get to spend a lot of money in lawsuits. They probably won't win, but Rush will still be out the money.

Rush Limbaugh avoided the draft because he had bad knees because he was so fat he couldn't walk right. He's working on his 4th or 5th marriage and was an addict for a few years. He was so addicted to hillbilly heroin (and he knew if he kept taking it, it could cause hearing loss)that he had to get his maid to go out and score it on the streets. A draft dodging, drug addict, who's family values include going through wives like Liz Taylor went through Husbands.
