One of the reasons voters complain they don't know where Sen Obama stands on issues is because he doesn't get adequate coverage. You can't turn on the t.v. without seeing Hillary speaking at rallies. I get so mad when I hear her campaign complain about how unfair the media is when all you see on the MSM outlets is her not Sen Obama.

Please bring some intelligence to the white house Obama!

I think the point he has to repeat about the health care. I didn't ever know how HRC has figured out that he is going to leave 15 million people. I learnt today from him that HRC is talking about those college students who would not buy unless mandated. So HRC is assuming that no college student in US will buy Health Insurance unless they are forced to !! Huh

Thank you, editors, for giving us an opportunity to see the real Barack Obama. The questions were on point, and his answers were clear, detailed, and offered a wealth of information. I hope that this gets adequate coverage. Indiana, I think you are looking at the next President!

Judging by his campaign and how I feel he thinks of America as I, I know he would be a very effective President, every time I get a true chance to see him asked a range of questions he seems to do very well for himself.

Good Luck Obama!

That was just sweet! It's so refreshing to see him answer questions in a cool, level-headed manner. Imagine George Bush, Hillary Clinton or John McCain answering those questions in that kind of setting. Pure chaos! Obama was enlightening and insightful - a marvelous President-to-be!

HuffPo, you really need to put this on the front page. Get rid of the negativity for a change, why dontcha? A moratorium on McCain for a day, why dontcha?

This video is golden. (But please correct the link title it's not "Indiana Editorial Board" it's "Indianapolis Star..." Indiana's largest newspaper. )

Like his previous meetings with other editorial boards, short on substance, long on aspirations. He once again fails to connect his broad policy concepts with every-day working stiffs. I know I'll get some heat for this, but Obama doesn't come across, in these more intimate settings, like the inspirational, clear-headed leader you all believe him to be. Rather, he basically sounds like a local pol running for a seat in the House of Representatives, not POTUS. I think his grasp of economic, educational, and military issues is reasonably good in a general sense, but that's the problem - he's too general.

What exactly do you think he should be doing right now? He's not in the WH yet, so the only thing he can do is talk about what he WILL do. If you took the same amount of time it took for you post your negative spin, and go on his website, you can find out more indept information on his policy plans. Do some research yourself! BTW, doesn't Hillary do the same thing, TALK about her policy plans. DUH!

And when a politician gets detailed all the little talking heads come out and say; "He, or she, is being too detailed, the blue collar guy at the local bar won't understanded this!" and you take a hit again.

It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't position.

Hmmm, you know, your critique is rather short on substance!

This was great! I learned more about China, and I think his approach to solving some of the problems of the inner city make sense. Government can't do it all, and he seems to know that.

An excellent interview. He did great!

This, as one blogger noted, is a breath of fresh, untainted oxygen. He's so much more informative in this type of more realisitc setting, as opposed to those idiotic "gotcha" debates, which Hillary apparently loves; where critical thinking about difficult policy issues is painfully absent and unnecessary. This is America's next prez...

Can you imagine an America where reporters report? Journalists take notes and present the facts, and all of them realize we don't give a damn about their opinions? Imagine it.

This interview clearly showed Obama's intelligence, knowledge on a wide range or issues, and sensible approaches to our nation's problems. I would love to see him incorporate more of these insights into his campaign events, in addition to all the hope and change rhetoric. He has real substance and real solutions, he should show it a little more.
