In an almost surreal segment, the hosts of Fox and Friends on Fox News showed a video of Lionel Ritchie singing in a high-pitched voice after inhaling helium. One of the anchors then announced that she'd brought some balloons with her this morning. These balloons were filled with helium and, astonishingly, the hosts began inhaling the helium themselves. One of the anchors started singing, and towards the end of the segment the weatherman grabbed a balloon and joined the party. We could hardly believe it.

Why is this even news? FOX News anchors acting like madmen and airheads or should say helium-heads? For the good of humanity, they should be banished to obscurity. Their news coverage alone rivals Jackass for intellectual heft.
