How The Presidential Candidates Will Look In 4 Years: See Photos

The gurus at PopPhoto have digitally altered photos of John McCain, Barack Obama, and Hillary Clinton to show how they might look after four years of holding the most stressful job in the country.

Below are photos of each candidate, and an explanation of how PopPhoto achieved the aged look (click here for larger versions of the images):

Aging takes time, even when you make it happen artificially with software. Each candidate took about four hours of retouching. To mimic the ravages of time, we did the following:

- Used the Burn and Dodge tools to deepen wrinkles and paint in age spots.
- Cloned the eyebrows and moved them lower.
- Used the Liquify filter to hollow out cheeks, make jowls, thin out lips, and enlarge ears and noses.
- For Clinton and Obama, brought in forehead wrinkles from separate photos and used the Match Color tool to blend them in.
- For Obama, painted in gray hair on top of his current hair; for Clinton, desaturated with the Sponge tool to make her grayer.

I agree 100%. Our skin does not age as rapidly, especially not with those deep wrinkles and dried out complexion. Our skin tends to be oilier than most and doesn't dry out with age, even if that's not the case for an individual; we have no problem using skin lotion.

And our lips definitely don't thin.

That photo-aging of Obama looks about late sixties or early 70's.

Wow, John McCain literally looks like Frankenstein in that picture. Obama, well he looks like Morgan Freeman did in some film I saw, and Hillary, well, she looks scary. But that doesn't change the fact she has a lot of experience, and has the correct ideologies and is of the correct party ilk. Anyone with half a brain can figure that had Gore won in 2000, there's no way gas prices would be over $1.80. Senator Obama will age VERY LITTLE AND VERY WELL - 8 years hence he'll still be the even skin-toned debonair gentleman . I think that he'll then be even more distinguished looking with lots of graying hair - NOTHING at all like your rendering.

Mccane's picture is the same, just not all airbrushed and fuzzy. Hillary had a picture get out w/o her makeup and except for the jowls, looks that way, now. Try doing her picture with her natural brown eyes, brown hair and the big gut she's starting to develop. She's no Maggy Thatcher. Baracks ears can't get any bigger w/o falling off.
