LA Times: Did The US Photoshop Syrian Nuke Photos?

LA Times:

Professor William Beeman at the University of Minnesota passed along a note today from "a colleague with a U.S. security clearance" about the mysterious Syrian site targeted in a Sept. 6 Israeli airstrike.

The note raises more questions about the evidence shown last week by U.S. intelligence officials to lawmakers in the House and Senate.

This is obviously a rhetorical question. If you can't manufacture an incident like the Gulf of Tonkin [read Persian] Gulf, or are no longer able to use comic books, like Colin Powell did, to prove WMD's...then by all means, try photo shop. When you run out of "babies being ripped out of incubators" and dangerous balsa wood drones just waiting to spray the Eastern seaboard with Anthrax ...then resort to cut and paste, cheaply manufactured intelligence. The MSM is already a willing accomplice, so what's the big deal?

As for the photo comparison, maybe the second photo was taken before the first one. It looks like maybe in the first shot more work had been done to complete the building.

Also, the angle of the sun is different in these photos. In the first one it is shining from the upper left, in the second one, from the lower left. That could change the appearance of the building's shape from one shot to the next.

Before we all start to pretend to be experts in photo analysis remember that even if all these photos are real it wouldn't matter much. Syria has the right to develop peaceful nuclear power and -- even though the liars at the pentagon say otherwise -- according to the IAEA rules no country has the right to attack another country's research reactor which is all this could have been, even if everything that the pentagon is saying about their "evidence" is true. BTW, this is what bothers me about conspiracy discussions (which have already started popping up here) about free fall, controlled demolition, etc. They take us into areas of speculation that are next to impossible to prove and away from things that are obvious lies, crimes, and incompetence. For example on 9/11 its undeniably true to anyone who objectively looks at the facts that there was (at least) massive incompetence both in missing the signals before hand and in the whitewash investigation that happened after. Yet, most Americans don't realize this because they associate critique of the official story with speculations and fantasies.

Having worked in CGI for some years, I must say the building looks very much like it was computer-generated, especially the front with the windows.

This is much more simple to verify than the professor suggests... by anyone reading this post and looking at the picture.

Simple........ it's the shadow...

On the shadowed side of the "in-tact" building, there should be a shadow line traversing the "roof "of the annex...from left to right... a shadow cast by the taller part of the main structure. From my experience with dimentional geometry and visualization, I would guess that approximately half of the roof should be shadowed and half directly lit... but if you look closely... the entire roof is mono-shade.

Simple... if you are open minded about such things.

Simple is usually reliable. But, there's a problem with simple... the path to simplicity is the most complicated equation known to man...

I would be shocked, shocked, if those pictures turned out to be real.

Consistently now, for several years, whatever our government has told us turned put to be lies. Whatever the foreign governments told us turned out to be true, especially in the case of Iran.
