LA Times: Did The US Photoshop Syrian Nuke Photos?

LA Times:

Professor William Beeman at the University of Minnesota passed along a note today from "a colleague with a U.S. security clearance" about the mysterious Syrian site targeted in a Sept. 6 Israeli airstrike.

The note raises more questions about the evidence shown last week by U.S. intelligence officials to lawmakers in the House and Senate.

Ah, if you read the article, it does say " CIA ENHANCED" So yes, that is a nice way of saying Photoshoped. Though it could have been Corel or some other software, but its been "enhanced"

I'd suggest listening to, or reading the transcript of, Scott Ritter's interview on Democracy Now from this morning. It is very illuminating, and makes it clear that this is all fabricated. Go figure? The Bush administration fabricate evidence to support attacking a sovereign country that never attacked us....no way! Oh wait...nevermind.

Ritter's comments make it clear, among other things, that he Israeli attack on Syria last September was a blatant and unprovoked act of war. And having this "evidence" come out this much later, well...the uncredible neo-cons strike again. They are liars, and warmongers, and this is just more lies with intent to commit unprovoked war...with the express purpose being, as in Iraq, regime change. Guess what, not that it matters, but that's a direct violation of international laws that the US is signatory to. Old story though, and no one will stop them, so time to sit idly by and watch these bastards start another illegal war...flip a coin, Syria or Iran? I'm betting Iran first...then Syria. And how sad for Syria too, since they've cooperated with the US before in extreme rendition...aka torture.

This one is easy to answer. Does a bear Sheit in the woods?

If it comes from a Bush administration, or our crack pot CIA or Military intel, or a Neo Con backed or controlled organization, it has a 88% chance of being bogus. Remember those Bin Laden tapes, with a fat bin laden, a skinny bin laden, a bin laden with a wedding ring? How about the auto tapes that disappeared as quickly as they appeared the moment someone pointed out the dialect and voice was bogus. Or how about that Iranian ship encounter with the audio that was obviously faked. It too went to the wind as soon as people caught on. Luckily for us, there are still a small bit of the populace that isnt dumb to what is going on. Thank them for holding back this administration and its partner of profiteers who want to enhance and increase this war of fear on the American public.

The arguments below make some fair claims for further evidence regarding the veracity of the photographs. For my part, I presume that every single claim made by the Bush administration is a lie, unless it can be proved otherwise. The Bush administration has earned this suspicion.

SURPRISE, in the book "The golf of exodus" the CIA admitted that the photo involved WAS created by the CIA................

So, this HAD to be created by some dumb government boob and agency.

What we know is that this administration has misused and abused intelligence time and again to disastrous effect, to the point that we're now unable to trust anything. You know those 2 photos we're supposed to compare that are supposed to show tampering?
The square building vs. the rectangle?
1/4 of one of the buildings was in pieces on the ground for crissake!

To me the photo are of the same site, just taken at different times of the day and from different point of view. Since the image are from satellites, all parallax angles are moot, the images are almost orthographic, and when changing point of view in an orthographic setting, a building's structure can seem to change it's proportions. You have to look at the shadow as a way of determining the z dimension.

Are you implying that the LA Times photoshopped the image that the pentagon put out? If so where is the proof of that? Because that picture they are showing on the times website is pretty obviously edited.

You can't tell in the movies what's real and what is CGI...Why trust anything the Government,especially this Government shows you? Today any image can be faked!

Images, video, audio , it can all be faked so well it would be hard to tell. And I put nothing past this government and its corporate controllers. If there is profit and power to be had, they will do whatever it takes to get their way.
