Hillary Clinton grabbed some headlines this past weekend by challenging Barack Obama to a "Lincoln-Douglas style" debate. Of course, she was referencing the debates between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas during their Illinois Senate race.

But someone apparently missed that memo at Fox & Friends, and MSNBC noticed — last night on "Verdict" with Dan Abrams and tonight on "Countdown" with Keith Olbermann. noticed. Watch below:

Fox News proves that the dummies are on both sides of the camera.

Faux Sour and ten years ago our fabricators brought forth on this network, conceived in Lies, and dedicated to the proposition that all news is not created equal. Now we are engaged in a great uncivil war, testing whether our network, or any Murdochism so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war on news. We shall do whatever necessary so that the network might live. But, in a larger sense, we can not defecate -- we cannot constipate -- we cannot wallow -- this empire. The brave men, Bill O’, Sean, even Cavuto have struggled here, have consecrated GOP lies, far above their enormous power to gig and gag. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what we did here. It is for us the lying, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fabricated here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored neocons we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the least full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these ideologues shall not have lied in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of propoganda -- and that government of the news corporation, by the news corporation, for the news corporation, shall

Fawks snooze has evolved or better yet devolved into some sort of bizzaro, funny ( in a gruesome kinda' way ) anti-matter sort of "SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE from BELVIEW)...sorry for the obscure mental hospital reference.

What would they have been debating? Frederick Douglas was also anti-slavery.

This situation reminds me of the time Faux and Fiends visited Monticello the home of George Jefferson.

In the 1980's, because of government regulation and insurance policies, VInce McMann was forced to publiclly admit that Professional wrestling was fake
I think it is high time the government made Rupurt Murdoch make a similar amouncement about "FOX NEWS"

Problem is they're just the most egregious participants. I'm not sure any of these "news outlets" really gives a darn about "news" vs. "info-tainment." The BBC still does news. The tabloidization of news here where facts get in the way of something worth a ratings coup making 'em all pretty unwatchable from the idea of looking at news. Cronkite has gotta be crying himself to sleep.

Oh C-mon! What did we think would happen when we handed over commercial free-speech
rights over to a multi-national citizen-doch!!!

Bwa-ha-ha-ha! As if we needed further proof of how stupid FOX is. Their producers and writers are idiots. Bwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!

Hey Fox, did Fredrick Douglas have a crazy black paster too, when he ran for president in 1860 against Abe Lincoln? Maybe Fox has some video of this famous debate!

I always thought their slogan, "Fair and Balanced" meant "Lighter complexion and Balanced." Now, they have proven to me that I was wrong! Yay!

The news media critic Bob McChesney said that the job of Fox News is to reduce everything to opinion, to eliminate "fact." Once you do that, you can put across any kind of brazen, evil, destructive nonsense you want. This "historical graphic" is just another example of Fox News' contempt for fact — and fact is what real journalists revere.

You know I argued that too. Once Fox reduces everything to opinion, for example, climate change, then everyone's opinion has the same weight and introducing any facts to persuade is irrelevant because all fact is opinion anyway. Most opinion is partisan, so therefore all facts are partisan too, and can merely be countered by another partisan opinion. Fox is doing much more harm to us as a country than we realize. It is bankrupting the political process and corrupting the national dialogue.

I am no longer even mildly surprised by the stupidly racist and moronic antics of the "so-called "journalists" on the FOX network. JOURNALISM - you don't know the meaning of it - all of you (barring none).
Can't wait for the election process to end, to see FOX and its readers all go belly up.

Are we surprised? Legitimate News, I don't think so.

Why are intelligent people even looking at FOX News to report their ridiculous antics.

I don't get it? TURN THAT S..., STUFF OFF!!!!
