Fox News Lincoln-Douglas Graphic Shows Frederick Douglass

Hillary Clinton grabbed some headlines this past weekend by challenging Barack Obama to a "Lincoln-Douglas style" debate. Of course, she was referencing the debates between Abraham Lincoln and Stephen Douglas during their Illinois Senate race.

But someone apparently missed that memo at Fox & Friends, and MSNBC noticed — last night on "Verdict" with Dan Abrams and tonight on "Countdown" with Keith Olbermann. noticed. Watch below:

There seems to be lots of angst here for FOX.

What I can't account for is that the stats clearly indicate that it is the most watched and trusted news channel in America. Allows both sides of an issue to be heard and always has pundits from both sides speaking to the issues.

So why the visceral hatred folks? Just go watch NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, PBS etc.
As you can see there are plenty of news networks that will specifically tailor their reporting to your political tastes and you don't have to get all worked up.

Fox also showed either a photo or footage (can't remember which) of Congressman John Lewis when referring to Congressman Jim Clyburn. They did manage to correct the mistake pretty quickly, but still it was a big mistake.
