Kellyanne Conway, MSNBC Guest, Calls Hillary Clinton "Chief White Woman" In America

This afternoon on MSNBC, Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway and Democratic strategist Keith Boykin were discussing Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright, when Conway made a startling declaration, calling Hillary Clinton "the chief white woman in this country." Her full statement:

"The person who has criticized them is Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton has been criticizing Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright. and I think that's the real issue, I think that's why Barack Obama had to push back. She is the chief white woman in this country, calling into question Jeremiah Wright's bonafides and she has made that issue on the campaign trail. Republicans aren't saying much about it at all, including John McCain. He had one thing to say about it early on."

Boykin immediately objected and Conway attempted to explain her statement, but a very wise Tamron Hall interrupted them and cut to commercial as fast as she could.

I may not be a Hillary supporter, but I do know that she did not start this mess with Rev. Wright. Fox started it. Sean Hannity started this. Please don't blame Hillary. She is guilty of some things but not this.

Fox news owner supports Senator Clinton and has raised millions for her campaign. Stop pretending that she is not behind this. She turned against the Reverend but when Bill Clinton was being crucified by the media and everyone that wanted them out of the white house, President and Mrs. Clinton called Reverend Wright to be there spiritual guide through their most trying times. She will do anything to win.

Im in no way a Hillary supporter but, we really need to stop blaming her for this even if she was behind it in some way. The Rev. said what he said and was only thinking about himself and I dont think Hillary or Barack can be blamed for this. Age changes people sometimes for the good sometimes for the bad. People need to really see this for what it is and move on to issues that really matter to this country.

the videos of the sermons were on sale on the church's website. barbara reynolds, the hillary supporter could just as easily have been doing hillary a disservice. if rev wright had spoken as he did when interviewed by bill moyers, he would have helped obama greatly. do you also think that hillary gave jeremiah wright a script of what he should say?
