Kellyanne Conway, MSNBC Guest, Calls Hillary Clinton "Chief White Woman" In America

This afternoon on MSNBC, Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway and Democratic strategist Keith Boykin were discussing Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright, when Conway made a startling declaration, calling Hillary Clinton "the chief white woman in this country." Her full statement:

"The person who has criticized them is Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton has been criticizing Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright. and I think that's the real issue, I think that's why Barack Obama had to push back. She is the chief white woman in this country, calling into question Jeremiah Wright's bonafides and she has made that issue on the campaign trail. Republicans aren't saying much about it at all, including John McCain. He had one thing to say about it early on."

Boykin immediately objected and Conway attempted to explain her statement, but a very wise Tamron Hall interrupted them and cut to commercial as fast as she could.

Firstly, of course, is the racist term 'Chief White Woman." Ugh.
Secondly -- and I see this all the time -- I am tremendously irritated with this woman's penchant for INTERRUPTING with a relentless, long-winded stream of verbiage. I see this more times than I can stomach.

Thirdly, the claim that the Clinton camp is behind all the criticism is horse hockey. HARDLY. Sure, they've done their share, but the Republican right-wing and their media toadies have been running hard with this ball for WEEKS. Never mind that John McCain gets a free pass with his nutcase preacher Hagee.

I love Tamron. She, along with Keith are the best ones on MSNBC. She is smart, poised and not one to back down. I can't see the clip because it is off right now, but I do see the look of disgust on her face in the picture. Again, I love Tamron. I wish that I had seen her on Matthews show. Tamron is an Obama supporter to the end. MSNBC serves Obama kool-aid fresh every 15 minutes. How can Obama overcome Wright? How can Obama win over the Blue Collar White Voters? In PA "Hillary's lead cut in half in Pennsylvania." For NC "Obama maintaining strong lead in NC despite Wright." Eventhough both had a 20pt lead and both shrunk in half. How will they spin an Indiana loss for Obama. He will lose by 10 to 15pts. North Carolina Obama will win by 5 to 10 pts. WV and KY will go about 25 to 30pts for Hillary. How will MSNBC spin that? A lot of Bush supporters 2-3-4 years ago used to dismiss critics as being "Bush Haters." The "haters" were crazy and irrational.

And look what's happened since. The "haters" weren't haters at all; they turned out to have been right. Isn't it funny how things turn out?

I don't "hate" Hillary. I'd have to know her personally to really feel that way. I just do not believe she is fit, mainly on grounds of character and moral turpitude, to be president. That's all.
