I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Kellyanne Conway

This afternoon on MSNBC, Republican strategist Kellyanne Conway and Democratic strategist Keith Boykin were discussing Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright, when Conway made a startling declaration, calling Hillary Clinton "the chief white woman in this country." Her full statement:

"The person who has criticized them is Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton has been criticizing Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright. and I think that's the real issue, I think that's why Barack Obama had to push back. She is the chief white woman in this country, calling into question Jeremiah Wright's bonafides and she has made that issue on the campaign trail. Republicans aren't saying much about it at all, including John McCain. He had one thing to say about it early on."

Boykin immediately objected and Conway attempted to explain her statement, but a very wise Tamron Hall interrupted them and cut to commercial as fast as she could.

Hillary is really the "Chief white woman".

She acts like she understands everybody's need. It's been a while she left average American life. From my count, at least 24 years. No she hails from any state that has blue colar jobs. No she's got an advert that cliams she's got roots in Indiana.

I think she is not real at all.

I agree with you. Seems like Hillary is trying to be the "chief white woman": she's a beer drinker, a gun toter, a ball-player, a football player, says stuff like "we can debate on the back of a flat-bed truck" - what's next - a monster truck driver and a nascar racer.....who grew up in florida and michigan simultaneously?

Dear Ignorancedestroys,

are you attempting to dispel ignorance or proliferate it?

Facts are useful and not really too difficult to find if you look for them.

There is no such thing as a "chief white woman", but race baiters like to get people to believe there is.

Hillary Clinton has an outstanding record of close friendship within the African American community since following Rev. King's example. Over her many years and lifelong friendships with blacks, she has also worked in various capacities to help empower all people of color, native americans, physical abilties, sexual orientations, and economic status. Anyone who knows her or her work will attest to this. Perhaps you could contact Dr. Maya Angelou. She'll straighten you out on your misperception. Barring that, you can get a copy of Maya's letters of support for Hillary Clinton's candidacy at hillaryclinton.com.

Hillary is considered one of the hardest working senators in Washington. But, she goes beyond voting and legislation. She does a tremendous amount of advocacy and public service work on behalf of her constituents.

Hillary was born and raised in Illinois to a middle class republican family, as the advert claims. The family vacationed in Pennsylvania with other family members when she was a young child.

She was a radical from the sixties who went mainstream in order to effect change from within, much as Barack Obama has decided to do. Today, her campaign is supported by the most diverse group of people in American electoral history.

So you're calling Kellyanne Conway a "race-baiter"? Because it was the "white woman" surrogate who said it.

Her campaign is not supported by the most diverse group in electoral history. It is not supported by African Americans -- unless you count Sheila Jackson Lee and Stephanie Tubbs Jones...

Kelly Ann just has Botox seeping into her brain! Due to the small size of that organ, it shouldn't be life threatening!

BUT...BUT....

Hillary Clinton IS the chief white woman in America! (Oprah Winfrey is the chief black woman in America.) Honestly, I can't see why anyone would get their panties in a bunch over that expression. (Maybe it's marginally "politically incorrect" but only marginally....)

Bravo Tamron - the Network might be calling soon !

She apparently went to the Trinity Church and listened to RW's sermons a few times while living in Chicago. That fact finally has made it to the brains of brass @ MSNBC and she was on Matthew's show tonite .

She _actually had a few very interesting things to say_ about the whole thing. Including citing some emails she's gotten from her friends etc etc. But most interestingly she's totally eclipsed and even talked over "Chief News Woman" of NBC - Andrea Mitchell ! Andrea is none too happy about it, I imagine.

Andrea Mitchell is Clinton's apologist and I'm glad Tamron got her talk on tonight and didn't let her interrupt her. Good for you Tamron, I have no respect for Andrea since she was on the Bosnia plane and did not call Hillary out with that big lie that she told. She's still a LIAR and she probably has something to do with the Wright situation.

Andrea is one of the most biased for Hillary of the all the pundits on MSNBC. Joe S. is a republican so who cares what he says. Abrams is also a Hill Shill but he's a joke as well. But she’s supposed to be a "journalist" yet she'll spin like mad for Clinton. It's so obvious that they have a personal relationship one which she can't separate from her business. If we see it, others see it, so I don't understand the "brass" rationale with her being the choice for pundit.

I know it's one person on that station that can’t wait to watch Hillary go down no matter who he may actually vote for(he seems like a McCain man).

My man Schuster can’t wait for a Hillary scandal! hahaha

all MSM cuts off its speakers when they say something that comes halfway to the truth.
Get with it and realize, everything is controlled and they want to control you too.

"...Conway attempted to explain her statement, but a very wise Tamron Hall interrupted them..."

Very wise?
Cutting her off was very wise?
Sheesh.
Can't let anyone explain what they meant.
No sireee.
That wouldn't be very wise.

Kellyann Connely has been on other stations and makes the most outrageously comments against any Democratic candidate. I don't wish to give them any noteriety, but suffice it to say she is VERY ignorant.

I don't even really understand what she was saying....

So, I guess the offense is that white women don't have a chief and the implication is... what?

Someone help me out here.

They were discussing the Obama/Wright situation and she started to make a point about who the black "standard bearer" or "chief" and started to equate Hillary as the white women "chief" or standardbearer, then got cut off. Watch the last 10 seconds of the interview. This is Huffpo sensationalism, and everyone's eating it up.
