Mayor Bloomberg Radio Show Finds A New Station

Last month, the New York Times reported that Mayor Bloomberg was looking for a new station to carry his radio show after WABC fired his partner, John Gambling.

Today's New York Post reports that Gambling and Bloomberg have found a new (or, in Gambling's case, old) home: WOR.

Radio scion John R. Gambling is returning to WOR-AM, Donna Hanover will leave, and Mayor Bloomberg will bring his weekly call-in show to the station.

That's the scenario radio-industry sources say will be announced tomorrow, when WOR officials hold a noon news conference.

Gambling left WOR, where he hosted a morning show, in 2000, and his family's association with the station dates back to 1925.
