Louis Carl Dobbs (born September 24, 1945) is a TV and radio personality, purported xenophobe, and a dick. Some people label him a populist, others a racist, and still others a Protectionist. But to everyone, he's an egotist.

Like fellow dicks Larry King, Anderson Cooper, and, to a slightly lesser extent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Lou Dobbs works in mass media news, or the "anchortainment," industry. His current show, Lou Dobbs Tonight, attracts CNN's third-largest audience, poisoning the minds of some 800,000 viewers per night. Nonetheless, Lou Dobbs still totally sweats Wolf Blitzer's jock.

He has also called Condoleeza Rice a "cotton picker" on national television.

Obviously its just started, as the list is still small. congress and the everyone in the white house, as well as most CEO and every person on Wall Street should be listed there as well. Lou Dobbs is the phoniest sob on cable television he rail against illegal immigration when he doesn't know one thing about except his wife is Mexican American and if I were her I would divorce him. I agree with him on a few things but don't like to watch his show because of his tunnel vision.

Dobbs is a racist asshole. I started to move away from CNN as a result his obsession with undocumented immigrants. Wolf Blitzer is a gutless ass-kisser, who carries the rightwingers lunchbox way too often. And the, they hired Tony Snow, and that was the death-knell for me.

I think part of the lunatic reaction against Dobbs is that it distracts the lunatic from realizing her/his support for a business-written/Karl Rove-polished Bush "compassionate conservative" scam.

Karl Rove came back for one year for one specific purpose - opushing through the immigration/impoverishment scam. He said so openly.

Lou Dobbs is full of himself every night. The only merit to his program is his constant dissing of the Bush administration. He disses Obama every chance he gets. Dobbs was absolutely joyful when that egotist threw Obama under the bus. I wonder if the undersides of that bus has any room for Dobbs. Ted Turner told Charlie Rose a few weeks ago that Dobbs is over the top. He is not over the top but he is below the line. Switch to Keith Oberman who calls the shots that really hit the mark.

Lou Dobbs speaks truth to power and is one of the few journalists who informs the viewer of real issues affecting it citizens.

He's the advocate of the middle class ,the only forgotton group by Washington and the Corporations who are looking for cheap labor wherever they can get it.

Who sponsored this post? LaRaza! Lou Dobbs is to be commended for shining a bright light on the so-called immigration reform that the Senate tried to sneak past the American public. Under the failed legislation:
- taxpayers pay the legal bills for illegal aliens seeking amnesty.
- Illegal aliens will immediately be eligible for a "Z Visa" which allows them to stay here for the rest of their lives.
- the government would have had only one business day to conduct a background check to determine whether an applicant is a criminal or a terrorist.
- illegal-alien gang members would be eligible for amnesty merely by signing a "renunciation of gang affiliation."
- allowed convicted felons and child molesters to obtain legal status and to live, work in this country indefinitely.
- increased legal migration by at least 50 percent over the next decade by granting green cards to all the remote relatives who are in the chain migration categories, a number estimated at 750,000 to 900,000 a year.
- Fiscal costs would go up dramatically after amnesty recipients reach retirement. Each elderly low-skill immigrant imposes a net cost - that is benefits minus taxes - on U.S. taxpayers of about $17,000 per year, according to the Heritage Foundation. These costs would hit Social Security and Medicare at the very time Social Security is expected to go into crisis.

Did I read that Dobbs went to Yale or Harvard? Whenever that was, the gasbag no longer represents journalism. He is rabidly ideological, he is angry, mean and personal. I bet if anyone asdked this man what the role of the media in a democracy is, he would not know. He graduated in the midievil times.
