I Like ItI Don’t Like It
Kerry And Witt

Today, John Kerry officially became the 87,436th person to receive one of the three or four versions of the same Reverend Wright question MSNBC has been asking everyone it comes in contact with, including their plants and pets. Kerry, who's maybe a little sensitive toward these sorts of issues, wasn't having it, and his displeasure manifested itself in the closest thing Kerry does that resembles losing his ever-loving mind. That said, it sort of worked! Kerry changed the conversation all right, but Alex Witt opted to just ask one more question ("I would like to get your concerns about the unity of the Democratic party as the Republican party was able to coalesce around its nominee, John McCain. How concerned are you?") before shutting the whole thing down.

[WATCH.]

WITT: Okay. He said it. A 20-year relationship. Reverend wright married him. He is the one who baptized a god parent. How personally painful is this for him?

KERRY: Can I say something to you? Obviously it is painful and he said it. You folks need to let go of this. Television needs to stop dwelling on something that is in the past. I thought Barack Obama yesterday gave America his second big presidential moment of this campaign. The first when he spoke out about the issue of race. The second yesterday, when he made it clear, every one of the statements of the minister are just unacceptable. They're not the person that he knew before. Now let's move on to how we'll put people to work. How are you going to give people health care? How are you going to create jobs in america? What Barack Obama is offering in this gas price issue is real leadership. I mean, do we want people who sort of put their fingers in the wind and throw out an idea for the short term that is sort of politically pleasing, or do you want a here who stands up and says, no, what we need is to really lower gas prices by having a real energy policy, an intelligent policy that puts in place the incentives for renewable fuels and alternative fuels. That's what Barack Obama is doing. And it is you guys have to focus on the thing that really matter to the American electorate. The other thing is just worn out, old history now. This guy had his narcissistic moment and it is finished.

WITT: Okay. Point well taken. Did I say to begin, can I just say, sir, I knew you weren't going to like that question. On the record.

KERRY: Let's move on to the thing that really matter to people. I think people in America are tired of this stuff.

WITT: Okay.

Kerry must have missed the fact that in his first "big race speech" Obama said he could not more disown Wright than his own Grandmother and then the next "big speech" Kerry refers to, Obama disowns Wright. I guess those little details slipped right by him!

One thing true about progressives you will never comprehend is we change our opinions according to the information that comes to us. Obama forged his later opinion based on new evidence. In spite of any emotional connection he had with Reverend Wright, he chose to do the honorable thing and did so with his integrity intact. Honor and integrity are the second and third qualities you will never comprehend.

Thank you dugan! We don't cling to bad ideas in order to avoid the dreaded "flip-flopper" label. There is nothing wrong changing your position according to the best and/or newest info available. Bush and his mimi-me McSame could learn a thing or two. Oh wait, McSame IS a flip-flopper, but in the negative sense. He's changed all of his views in order to pander to the far right. What we need is someone who will do the right thing, not just the popular thing (read: gas tax holiday).

Laugh. Right. It took Obama 20 YEARS to figure out Wright was a hateful bigot.

That's Obama's entire problem. Obama first lied, saying he NEVER heard these things. He quickly flipped before anyone could prove he lied and declared he HAD heard these things before. Now, it's all "fresh news" that he had to deal with!

Obama's real problem is that Obama is a progressive liberal supports the most hateful parts of the progressive liberal agenda. And everytime he gets caught supporting some bit of far left hate....you folks have to come out and spend a week recontextualizing.

So Obama calls the average white person racist and out comes the Obama "context" army to make it right. Obama slams White Chiristians as bitter and clinging....out comes the recontextualizers. Obama slams gun owners.....oh we were just to dumb to understand . Obama supports illegal immigration and attacks those who don't......oh shame on our ignorance".

Obamas great race speech blew up in his face as it became increasingly apparent Obama sat at the feet of a hate mongering bigot for 20 years and never took a stand against it. And in fact, appears to believe it. And why not? He's a progressive liberal black man and progressive liberals preach that black on white hate is virtually an obligation because all us white people were slave owners. So we learn who Obama is, then very quickly we have to be "reeducated" as to why Obama isn't, who he is.

Bravo!!!!! Bravo, Mr. Kerry. I think that all advisors giving interviews should state up front to any and all media hounds that the Rev. Wright issues has been handled and we are going to move on at the request of the American people.

We are more concerned about our homes, jobs, gas prices, the cost of living; food, the 2 wars we're in right now and the 1 we're trying to avoid.

LET'S GET BACK TO BUSINESS AT HAND, how do we get out of this slumpping economy?

Reverend Wright Ate My Homework

A list of crimes against humanity Reverend Wright has committed on his way to becoming Democratic nominee for president. What's that? He's not running for president? Oh.

Why just smack down MSNBC? Real leaders should be on all of these networks saying what Kerry said. You would think that voters would be smart enough to see this stuff for what it is. But they are not, because we are reminded everyday by the media that "uneducated white voters" don't like smart people.

Sorry to say, but we need an attractive white coed to go missing pronto. Then the media can have a new feeding frenzy.

A question to Hillary Clinton. Are you aware that your minister Douglas Coe praised Hitler? I am calling on the mainstream media and the blogs to ask her to explain why she has worshiped under this man for 15 years. Hillary explain your minister to the world. Bring him out of the shadows into the sunshine. Lets clear up his praise for Hitler. Please explain to the country your views on a man who praises Hitler. Maybe you can speak to the American People is a speech about race like Senator Obama did. You could call yours America and the Need For A Master Race.

All of the stations and the newspapers need to stop making the news and start reporting the real news. It may seem boring but people will start turning off the sets because your attempt to entertain cannot compare to a good movie, concert, play, or sporting event.

Thank you Senator Kerry, telling one of these media apes what we want to tell them - the issue is done get over it. We know the powers that be what to focus the American people on this one singular issue so that they lose site of the bigger issues.

Thank you Senator Kerry for saying that the MSM needs to lay off this issue. I wish you could have been our president, our country would have been in a much better state than it is now. If the media wants to cover the Wright issue 24/7 than they must do the same for Hagee who is way more controversial.

AMEN! Obama is running for president not WRIGHT! And are not electing a national minister. The media has nothing better to talk about and it is elementary at best journalism aka mockraking.

It's called the real world. John Kerry belongs to it. Our bad he didn't get elected. We'd be in a much better place right now.

Well, frankly he DID get elected and the election was stolen from him. Check out the "Hacking Democracy". It's just too bad he didn't fight harder.

THIS is why I voted for John Kerry in 2004. The fact that he risked his life to save one of his men during the freakin' Vietnam War was also a factor. But the likes of Rove and his Swift Boat crusade made sure that instead of Kerry, we'd get four more years of fresh corpses to bury in the name of "patriotism."

America needs to wake the hell up and not blow this again. Iran is next on the NeoCon plate, and YOUR kid will end up serving the way things are going. McCain is making no bones about it: 100 years ...or whatever it takes.

Rhetoric? Maybe. Can we run the risk once more?

NO.

Somebody out there needs to heed Kerry's advice. And fast.

We all need to remember this time in history the next time some Republican starts whining about how the media is so liberal. Obama and Clinton have both gotten hammered by the press.
