Official Tearfully Admits He Sniffed Female Lawmaker's Chairseat

Australia's Sunday News reports on an Australian government official who is facing calls to resign after admitting that he sniffed a female lawmaker's chair seat after she had stood up. The same lawmaker was recently in trouble for snapping the bra of another female lawmaker.

Troubled Opposition leader Troy Buswell has broken down in tears at a press conference and admitted he sniffed the chair of a female Liberal Party staffer.

With tears in his eyes, Mr Buswell had to compose himself before telling the media in Mandurah this morning that his behaviour had been unacceptable.

Mr Buswell said he had repeatedly refused to deny the allegations because he wanted to protect the woman involved.

But he broke down after he was asked about the effect of the reports on his wife and children.

For some here, they will never see the pattern of abberant sexual behavior; because those who do such things are white, but specifically white males. Whether it is the 4000 Catholics abusing little boys, or former NY governor with a penchant for prostitutes, or a President getting a blow job in the Whitehouse, or a Senator cruising the bathrooms for gay sex, or a sect of religious nuts raping 12 and 13 year old girls in the name of religion, we can not ignore this is the behavior of those who represent those in charge of the political, social and economic meters in and around the world.

Few, if any sub-racial group would be able to have so many sexually related issues occur, and not be used again and again in stereotypical fashion within the context of this society. Yet, there is little funny about these situations, and each one alone may not say anything; but when they are weaved together they produce a troubling pattern of sexual depravity that courses under the radar here in the US and beyond, because the perps enjoy the priviledge of being white, in a world where anything subscribed to them, immediately defaults to the individual, not the group.

And, in a society where only sub-groups are conscious and unconsciously assumed to be deviants, these events do not garner the attention that they would otherwise receive, if the dominate culture could laugh and deride them as being characteristics of the 'them.'

The headline is WRONG!!!!

He is NOT a government official. I realise Americans don't understand Westminster parliamentary democracy, but c'mon, surely you could explain that heheads the alternative executive government and is a member of state parliament. In American terms, he is a candidate for the executive branch whilst a member of the legislative branch. Which of course, we, and the UK, and Canada, keep well and truly fused so parliament can have some genuine oversight.

This clown will NEVER be elected by his state to the role of premier (equiv. governor), and that is worth pointing out.
