Hillary Clinton campaigned Wednesday in Indianapolis, on the same day that Indiana superdelegate and former Clinton supporter Joe Andrew announced he was switching his allegiance to Barack Obama. Clinton says she's not worried about Joe Andrew's endorsement of Obama....

Clinton called her base of support "broader and deeper" than Obama's, and said, "At the end of the day, that's what it should be about for Democrats. You know, it is who can better win. And I've won the big states. I've won the states that we have to anchor. If we had the Republican rules, I would already be the nominee."

If someone has been voting republican for 28 years, how are they a "Reagan Democrat"? Aren't they just a Republican? or dead by now?

Can't we all agree that we don't need them, and we would rather have the young people that Obama brings to the table?

Agreed, that's an obsolete term.

OK, now both Bill and Hillary have stated that if they were in the GOP race, she'd be the nominee. Is there anyone or anything stopping them both from joining (re-joining for Hillary) the GOP...perhaps since Hillary touts John McCain's ideas, it would be an appropriate running mate pick for McCain to pick her as his VP! Then everyone is happy!

Bill and HRC are corporate. The MSM is consumed broadly and without a fairness doctrine. Of course, it favors it's friends and associates.

Unfortunately for Billary, the People have the Internet, and a lot more of the truth than that offered by any corporate power.

Clinton supporters might want to take a look at who and what is behind their nefarious activities.

Let's see Hillary's base includes.....

women, older voters, latinos, blue-collar dems, catholics, whites 18+, college educated voters in the suburbs......

Obama's base is blacks and a handful of moveon.org types.

Yes, her base is indeed far broader than Obamas.

I am Latino and I support Barack as do many in my community.

I fit in six of your categories:

white, woman, over 18, blue-collar dem, catholic and college educated. I support Obama.

Don't believe everything you read.

Obama's MAIN SUPPORT IS BLACKS. FACE IT. THAT IS ALL HE HAS.

No, he does not have the "youth vote"....18-29 year olds INCLUDE the AA vote....when its only whites Clinton wins 18-29 year olds 53-47 percent over Obama.

He only wins the college educated vote in URBAN cities....she won them in the Philly suburbs.

Obama IS the black candidate, and the choice of media elitists but that is it.

Count this white honkey cracker couple as Obama supporters...so I guess your theory isn't quite accurate...I don't know anyone in our family/friends who's voting for Clinton....they're all very intelligent people who have memory of what the Clinton Siege was like...and won't encourage it again.

LMAO@that. Now that is funny! What's interesting is this...some people (both Black and White) try to marginalize Obama as the "Black" candidate. Is that the best you can do? Between him being Black and going to Rev. Wright's church...honestly, is that the best you can do?

I must admit, I am further encouraged that the majority of White people are decent folks who want whats best for themselves and their families. Whether the President is Black, White, male, or female, does not make or break a candidate. The rest of you Uncle Tom-foolery voters chide on and on about him being Black. Be careful...To those same people you are hoping to sway, you may just be fanning the flames for them to truly see how revolutionary they can be.

Okay if he "only" get's the AA and youth vote how do you explain his wins in states like MD, VA, MO, KS, Iowa and my state of WA which I can assure you barely has a black population? Now it is true that in the rural areas she has a strong hold but guess what? Republicans come national election time go republican. And I think it's pretty clear why she gets the older women vote. And sorry but it doesn't say much about a candidate who gets the majority of the less educated among us.

Maybe she could do the Democratic Party a favor and switch to Republican. I'm sure she'd have just as much of a shot in that party in 2012 as she does in the Dems.

If this were the North Pole, I would be an Eskimo...but it's not...and im not.

This is the DNP...not the GOP. You are Hillary...not John. This is the primary...and you are losing.

Who needs washing machines when Hillary has the spin cycle on 24/7.

Her "broader base" includes "Sh*t" and "Worthless White N*rs" according to her adviser. That's what he calls the Indianans.
