Now, this will hurt his legacy, I'm sure. He'll have to go on a book and speaking tour just like the last two DEM President's to reclaim some respect. He'll have to 'revise' history and maybe do a couple of 'peace' tours like Jimmy. But, we'll remember won't we? He'll be just another disgruntled EX-President earning millions...........oh, the humanity of it all.

W will not go on a speaking tour, at least not

Sorry dude. But as a proud neocon, i dont think i will allow a war crimes trial. We can break out the guns and go at it again before that happens.

You just have to wonder what's so wrong with people that they would actually vote for this guy not once, but twice. Did he just suddenly become completely pathetic overnight after four years of being acceptable? Or is it more likely that the population is suffering from some pretty extreme social engineering and brainwashing?

Every time I would argue about his incompetence with conservative co-workers they would start yelling about Clinton. Almost five years later and anything that went wrong was Clinton's fault.

What 4 years did you find acceptable? This guy was a boob from the start. Eight months into his presidency, we faced 9/11 Even a piss-poor president would have known that when you get a message that essentially says, "Mr. President, the country is under attack", it's time to get busy getting information and preparing to deal with the crisis. But without someone to tell him what to do, this dumber-than-a-stone waste-of-oxygen sat for 7 minutes without a clue as to what to do. OK, then he attacked the terrorists in Afghanistan - good move - and about the only one he made. Other than that, he quickly became this country's worst nightmare, and the best thing ever to happen to global terrorism. So, other than about 8 months of mediocrity, what's "acceptable"?

Does anyone really think this moron gives two shits about his popularity rating? In a few years he'll be laying around his one hundred thousand acre spread in Paraguay, surrounded by his one hundred man contingent of secret service agents, and a battalion of blackwater mercenaries, running the Bush family drug running operations and grabbing control of the largest freshwater aquifier in South America. It just isn't about popularity with the Bushes', rather it is solely about power.

"Opinion Research Corporation's parent company, InfoUSA, is controlled by Vinod Gupta, a noted donor to, fundraiser for, and supporter of Bill and Hillary Clinton. On January 12th, 2007, ORC announced a "formal polling partnership" with CNN. This, combined with existing allegations of bias against CNN, has led critics to question the reliability of CNN polls regarding Hillary Clinton's likely 2008 presidential run."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Opinion_Research_Corporation

After Bill Clinton left the White House in January 2001, Gupta hired him as a consultant, a relationship that has continued. Clinton has been paid $3.3 million through 2007, in addition to receiving options on 100,000 shares of stock. A shareholder lawsuit against Gupta has been filed, saying that such payments benefited primarily Gupta, not his corporation, and that the corporation has improperly paid for homes, cars, and a yacht for Gupta.

It's really his whole administration which will be remembered for cronyism, incompetence, fascism and never ending lies.

Historians will probably refer to the Bush/Cheney years as "dark", because they are without question the most misguided and oppressive White House since...forever. Look at the history of the Bush family - plenty of evidence of eugenics programs which obviously did not die with the Nazis, who made quite a bit of money for that family.

Disgusting.

Despite his many failings, President Bush is to be commended for his humanitarian efforts on behalf of world hunger relief ( see cnnpolitics.com 5-2-08 ) and for his part in the fight against AIDS and malaria on the African continent.

Yeah, it's nice he cares about the rest of the world's poor and unfortunate. I wish he would show the poor and unfortunate in his own country the same compassion!

You have GOT to be kidding. Dubya is directly responsible for the food crisis worldwide in the first place, with his buddies the Saudhis. The price of oil is directly related to the price of food, and when I see him pretending to care it makes me want to vomit. WAKE UP. If you think he really cares about people in Africa, or anywhere for that matter, then I would say you are ill from the stink coming off all his BS.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll was conducted by telephone from Monday through Wednesday, with 1,008 adult Americans questioned.

Gee, now there's a portrait of unbiased reporting. Are these the same people who conduct exit polls?

Remember, these are 1008 idiots who still have a dial up phone and are too stupid to get on the do not call list.

Nothing to see here, please "move on".

They have to call 20 people to find one willing to accept the call. NOBODY with caller ID picks up when it reads : Unknown Number. And the ones who do aren't people who represent the mainstream.

Face it, they're morons, and polls of any kind are useless.
