Given that he was an utter failure at every endeavor he ever undertook, what made the people that helped him get to the White House think he might excel there?

To anyone that voted for this buffoon:

Nice going. Your grandchildren will thank you.

The people that helped him get there didn't want him to excel. They wanted him to open the gates and let them at the treasury. They wanted him to give them Bill Clinton's budget surplus. They didn't give a f*ck about America (they're Republicans, after all). They cared about what was in it for them. it has worked out quite well for them. Too bad about us.

Too bad the fools who voted for him didn't ever read anything about Bush from the now departed Molly Ivans, the wise and sassy observer of Texas politics. It might have given them pause. She had Bush's number many years ago. But then few of those people read anything and especially when the author is gay.

Bush was always a snake. Why is anyone surprised he acted like one as President?

George W. Bush - the man who told us "I believe the human being and the fish can coexist" - is the most unpopular president in modern history? How come?

One reason might be that a few years ago he was quoted as saying that his greatest moment as president was catching a friggin' perch.

It would be interesting to know what his approval rating is among fish. Pretty low, I'm guessing.

how come we can't comment on the D.C. madamn's "suicide?"
Is it too hot of a topic?

Theda : Police said that a three wheeled cycle was moved, and that notes were found stating her intention to take her own life. ( Hanged / ing in the tool shed ! ) She had also allegedly stated that she would kill herself, rather than be incarcerated. And as a result, foul play was not suspected...

Guess that lets the 'swipes that killed her illude scrutiny, huh ??

( I could hear the likely statements now...
" There I was officer. Minding my own business, cleaning my nails with my 11 inch buck knife... When she inadvertantly backed into the blade seventeen times ! " )

The death penalty for the madame but Sen. Vitter, a customer, walks around with his diaper on. Some day in the future people look back at how absurd the illegality of prostitution was. It involves an activity that is perfectly legal unless money changes hands. Insane. How come women in porn movies can accept money for having sex as long as it's not from her partner? Is there intelligent life on earth?

And yet Kerry lost to this loser of a President ( His advisors:" Don't talk too much about the Iraq war " )....and Nancy Pelosi repeatedly says accountability ( impeachment ) is off the table. The Democratic party has too many gutless pols. Let's hope ( and pray ) Obama is different!

And we knew long before this puke got into office what he'd do yet the American people and the media ignored this information.

America you are lazy in that you take whatever gunk is being force fed to you via the media.

You are responsible for this mess you created by ignoring the warnings.

We never learn. #WE are self-destructive. All the warnings about Hillary are there also--the most corrupt member of Congress bar none, and a proven and self-confessed liar--yet she has enormous support, enough to steal the election. The only thing we ever learn from history is that we never learn from history. What is the matter with kansas?

Remember the good old pre-9/11 days when The Religious Right was pounding us with abortion, gay marriage, and hounding everyone to vote for Bush's "integrity and straight moral compass?" Where are they all now? Thanks to them we have thousands of dead soldiers and innocent civilians, and we don't hear a peep. Is that because all those good Christians got what they wanted? Or are they just silent in their guilt? I have yet to hear anyone apologize to us "evil liberals" for voting for this pathetic president.

Unfortunately, the same ignorant masses that put GWB in the whitehouse TWICE are still out, there, still ignorant, and according to recent polls, still swilling down the kool aid and eating up the talking points. If McBush gets elected, we who do not fall into the above noted category need to secede from the union and start up our own country.

I know tons of people from 22 to 70 who are going to leave the United States to live out their lives in other lands if another Corporatist of EITHER PARTY is elected President of the United States. Unless we have an actual civil government again as a nation, WE ARE TOAST. We are done as a nation and as a people unless sanity prevails. And soon. The stakes are high. New Zealand and Costa Rica are starting to look real good.

Pres Bush is just pathetic, there are no words in the English language that can describe the level of arrogance, ignorance and deception we, as a nation, have been put through.
However, we deserve it as we have become insensitive to our own plight. We have apathy for everything in politics and just greed in our minds.

Oh he never deceived me. It's not only this motherfucker, but his henchmen Cheney and Rumsfeld that NEED to be held accountable for all the criminal activity this WhiteHouse has partaken in.
I voted for Gore and Kerry, and had they won, there would be a couple hundred thousand people still alive and walking this earth, not to mention 4059 of our bravest, and tens of thousand of casualties. There are still idiots out there walking around that are actually going to vote Republican AGAIN. How many times does we want to get fucked up the Ass?

I think the worst modern president is Jimmy Carter. A lot of our trouble in the middle east is his fault.
He should never have removed the Shah of Iran. The Shah was our friend

Carter did not remove the Shah. The Iranian people did. Recall: The Shah was a CIA implant for the coup against an Iranian democratically elected leader.

You have to be willfully ignorant of remedial levels of history, geography, economics and civics to be a conservative these days.
