Bush Says Economy Is Going To 'Come On'

President Bush, buoyed by a batch of economic news that wasn't as bad as expected, predicted Friday that consumers are on their way to better days.

"I know it's tough times, and I know you're having to pay more at the fuel pump than you want," Bush said. "But this economy is going to come on. I'm confident it will."

I'll summarize it for you:

Bush says, "Blah blah blah, lies lies lies, ignorant soundbyte, blah blah blah, more crap, more garbage, blah blah blah, lies lies lies, distortion of the facts, temper tantrum...and as I told you last time, I already answered that question with a blah blah blah and an ignorant soundbyte."

George Bush probably also believes that if you clap really loud, and say, "I believe in fairies!", Tinkerbell won't die.

After eight years of this, Tinkerbell is dead. And she isn't coming back.

Georgie really should have done less "bhak ridin' brush cuttin" bald haid rubbin" and concentrated on the job of president. He has never held a real job that was not given to him because of his name. He really thought it would be an easy ride, Dickie would run the show, and he would take the credit. Then it all came tumbling down. Still the MSM will not tell the truth. He is a soulless, cold blooded little "man". How he can see the wounded young vets and make jokes is beyond me. It breaks my heart to see all the young lives crushed because of this MORON. Now the MSM is fixing to foist McCain on the US populace. He is no smarter than Georgie, and just as cold blooded. Ever wonder why McCain has to have his wife by his side constantly? Mrs. Obama does not stick like glue to her husband. Maybe she is afraid she might "disappear" like Vickie Iseman. After what just happened to the DC Madam, I would be afraid, too.

Bush is an idiot and is completely out of touch with the average American.

But if Bush says the economy is "Going to come on," then, to quote the worst American President ever, I say, "Bring it on."

He is going to predict the economy? Look at his other predictions. The Iraqis will greet us with open arms, flowers and choclate. This war would be paid for with Iraqi oil money. One of his people you know rummy said when ask how long the war would last said six hours, six days, I doubt six months.
Do these accurate prediction give you any hope that this idiot is right about the economy?

This is the same man that said no one could have predicted that they would fly airplanes into buildings after he had been told they were going to try to fly airplanes into buildings.

This is the same man that said no one could have predicted that the flood walls would break after they had been told that if to much water fell the walls would collapse.

This administration and the republican party have been wrong about every single thing they have done! Why?
Because they are in washington doing what is good for them personally not what is good for the country or the planet.

Last question, Are these really the kind of people you want involving themselves in all parts of your lives and business, people that are always WRONG?

Bush the First's plan was for Jeb to be president, not his ne'er-do-well oldest son. Jeb lost the first time he ran for governor of Florida, which gave Dubya his opening.

Of course, sibling rivalry didn't prevent Jeb from hiring a company to purge the Florida voting rolls of African American voters--which was the real scandal of the 2000 election.

No matter how much Democrats wish for and talk about the US being in an economic recession, the US is not in a recession. In fact, the US economy has just completed 6 years of consecutive quarterly economic growth!

I'm sorry - "wish for?" - do you really believe that? Why do you hate so many Americans? And I'm glad you think things are just fine in this country - I was starting to worry.

Visit Janesville, Wisconsin. The GM plant is letting lots of workers go. Try telling THEM the recession is not real. Visit Belvidere, Illinois. Tell the Chrysler workers who just lost theit job that there is no recession. You must work for the gov't if you do not think the country is in deep doo-doo.

During the 1981-1982 recession unemployment was about 11%, over 4.5 million or 300,000 workers a month lost their jobs, every month and the GDP declined by number like -2, -3 or -4%. Currently unemployment is 5%, 20,000 workers lost jobs in the last month and the gdp grew by 0.6%. The current number indicate a slowing economy no recession.

Bush's job creation record over eight years is terrible. We borrow billions from China each week. There are a record number of home foreclosures. Real median incomes are lower than several years ago and that is the first time median incomes have declined in an expansion. There is a credit crisis. Bush, with the economy, is doing as well as he is doing with the war in Iraq and with Hurricane Katrina. The man is a walking disaster.

Total nonfarm employment was nearly 5.4 million higher last month than it was when President Bush took office in January 2001, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. That's the standard measure of jobs, and it means 5.4 million have been created. Not too bad. I think you meant household income, not median incomes, "Household Income Down $1,000." That's close. Official Census figures show median household income in 2006 was $48,201, which is $962 lower than in 2000, when it stood at $49,163 after adjustment for inflation. If so it is true it's down, but not the first time during an expansion.

Before the Democrats took over control of congress: consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high; Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon; the unemployment rate was 4.5% households net worth was increasing; home equity was increasing and less than 0.4% of homes were in foreclosure. Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we've seen:
Consumer confidence plummet; cost of regular gasoline soar to over $4 a gallon;
unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase); households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses); Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars; and1% of American homes are in foreclosure.

America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!

A dumb man, growing up in a protected, elitist environment, surrounded by power and privilege, and smarter siblings is a recipe for tragedy and disaster. Most of the time it's limited to the family or those he has relationships with. Why, oh why did this one have to play out in the most powerful, once-respected. office on earth? We are collectively Battered Citizens.

Republicans as a ruling body have no coping abilities, Bush demonstrates this by serving up platitudes instead of actually working for a consensus and cooperating with Congress to help Americans. Republicans are poor diplomats, preferring to dictate rather than consult, bombast rather than compromise and stuborness rather than adaptation. Confusing Democrats has been Bush's friendly humor and likeability. He defuses anger by acting the friendly dolt, disarming Democratic ardor. A snake is a snake, whether he laughs with you and hugs you or not, he is evil and his retinue has decimated American prospects while advancing the cause of wealth.

Yes, he is the least prepared president ever and has done nothing but disdain any education his whole life. It shows. Growing up with a very accomplished father and smarter siblings wounded him a great deal psychologically to the point he can not cope. All around him must protect him from reality.

His siblings did not have to be too smart, to be smarter than Georgie. Neal is a classic example. Dumb as a post. I read somewhere that the elder Bush's thought in his younger years that HE could be president!!!. GHW is "accomplished" In WHAT? Running around on Babs with Jennifer Fitzgerald for 10 years, and having the MSM not even mention that? Being up to his elbows in Iran-Contra, then saying he was " out of the loop"? Ejecting from his plane, leaving others to go down with it? Name ONE accomplishment from whiny, weepy old George.

Let's all hope Bush is right and the USA avoids a recession and economic growth increases. Though it is by a very small amount it's good to see unemployment rate dropping. Let's hope unemployment drops also. Ideally, every US worker who wants a job will have one and economic growth will accelerate.

The only reason the unemployment has been declining is because so many have dropped out of the labor force entirely and are no longer counted. Otherwise, Bush's record of job creation does not even keep pace with the number needed to keep pace with immigration.

GWB lives in the WH, not the real world. He has never lived in the real world even when he wasn't the President. So let's just say that now and move on ok!!! He wouldn't admit that our dollar is worthless if he was pushing a truckload to buy a loaf of bread!!! Hello?? This is the same guy that won't admit that his mission banner from the start of the Iraq war is a lie!!!
