Seven former Democratic National Committee chairs who support Hillary Clinton's presidential bid, and the family of one who is deceased, released a letter Friday arguing that she is the candidate best-equipped to beat John McCain in November.

The letter was signed by former party leaders Kenneth Curtis, Charles Manatt, Debra DeLee, Don Fowler, Steve Grossman, Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell, and Clinton adviser Terry McAuliffe. It was also signed by the family of the late Ron Brown, who served in the Clinton administration.

Los Angeles Judge Saves Hillary's 2008 Presidential Bid

In the landmark civil fraud case against Bill Clinton in Los Angeles, where the former President is charged with defrauding a Hollywood dot com millionaire to help Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million from him for her 2000 Senate campaign, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz ruled on Friday, April 25, 2008 that Hillary Clinton would not be required to testify in a sworn deposition as a material witness in the case until AFTER the November election!

Hopefully the MSM will keep the american people informed about this case. Just as they did with Rezko.
I would hate for the nominee to win the general and start their administration in the middle of a scandal on day one!

Kerry & Kennedy pushed Obama into running before he was ready.

This is a mess.

This is dumb as rocks logic. Have the DNC nobodies been reading Hillary's script and putting their names on petitions again? Apparently he is ready and winning. Clinton maybe overdone..and too much seasoning in the political gutter. TO HILLARY: Hillary go home, enjoy those millions for which you and Bill are peddling influence. You two have been on the public dole for darn near 30 years..homes, chauffeurs, state trooper or secret service protection, food, gas, airplanes, travel, medical, dental, office expenses, Living is good at the top and the sense of entitlement creeps in easily. Go home and bake some cookies, you might find it relaxing.

What a joke. These Clinton sycophants just don't give up, do they? What on God's Earth makes them think Hillary can beat McCain? Don't they know that Rush Limbaugh and other Republicans are agitating against Obama, using Hillary, so they can bring him down and run McCain against Hillary?

I'd love to be a fly on the wall during their strategy meetings, outdoing each other on which lunatic statements they can make.

They must really think the remaining uncommitted superdelegates must be as stupid, blind and out of touch as they are.

I'm really surprised to see that Hillary has the support of 7 past DNC chairs, the way the news has been reporting on Obama's it sounded like he has that support locked up. I'm glad to see that these DNC chairs aren't taking it sitting down (heh pun).

So, her supporters think she'll win. OMG what a shock.

The proverbial yellow dog could beat McCain. McCain has shit the bed so many times in this and no one is calling him on it because the Democratic candidates are too busy warring with each other. Once this nonsense is over, Obama will be able to concentrate his campaign against McCain. Then it's all over but the hummin'. McCain goes down big time.

I agree. TODAY Clinton would defeat John McCain. But do we really think by November Clinton will be treated by the GOP the same way she's been treated by them so far in this primary? Don't you know the Republicans WANT her to be the nominee. This Clinton-is-more-electable train of thought is exactly what the Republicans are praying for. This is why they've been attacking Obama in NC. This is why Rush Limbaugh has called on his robots to vote for her in the primary. This is why they are practically mum when a Clinton controversy erupts, yet fire on all cylinders when it's about Obama.

Yes, TODAY Hillary Clinton would beat McCain. But the election isn't TODAY.

Well, there were many days, many more, that Obama could have said the same thing about Clinton but he chose not to.

The only reason Obama is not hitting Clinton square in the mouth is because he is afraid of offending female voters which in turn will make the party healing a much harder process.

Clinton has lost and she knows it that is why the is a lot of fireworks and side shows and RIDICULOUS SCENERIOS or WHAT IFS. Hillary: If we were Republicans, I would be ahead. I am ahead by electoral votes--yea but Obama will win CA, NY,NJ, anyways. I am ahead in the popular vote but I am counting Michigan and giving Obama a ZERO OUT OF MICHIGAN because not a singel person would vote for him? JUST RIDICULOUS.

So these Democratic faithful are trying to undercut the frontrunner and likely nominee? Pretty pathetic. What are they going to do when Obama is officially the nominee? They are attempting to manufacture baggage for Obama. What a pathetic bunch.

I believe she can beat McCain today but I also believe she cannot beat in November when Republicans start looking into her baggages.

The Repubs know her baggage. Independents and what all ever else is out there know her baggage. It's Obama's baggage, except for Rev Wright, we don't know about. If he's nominated, they'll open the baggage like a grouchy TSA agent and throw the contents everywhere. I think that's why so many conservative Dems, progressive Repubs and Indies actually prefer Clinton, and at this point would vote for McCain over Obama. You can bet the Repubs will come up with lots worse than Rev Wright if Obama is the nominee.

Pleasssssssssse. Lay this old canard to rest. McCain is the gift which keeps on giving. We may not even have to get into McCain's baggage since we will find it hard to even keep up with his daily dose of "misspeaks". Instead of trying to raise your candidate by tearing down the other guy, why don't you try and enlighten us by extolling some of your candidates virtues. Oh, I forgot, she doesn't have any.

Someone the other day posted a link to a site showing the purchase of the Obama's house was done by a "trust" and they gave the number. Upon further investigation, this guy found that another "trust" by the same name and number had made several other questionable purchases of different properties, but that the Obama's tax returns did not list any of these purchases. According to the article, they were all purchased by the same trust, and he even listed an I.D. number that matched the one linked to the Obamas' house. He said that McCain has all of the necessary information, and if Obama gets the nod, it will be released sometime before the General Election. This will just be the first of many pounds of baggage I'm sure will come out. Who knows what else is there for the finding.

"I think that's why so many conservative Dems, progressive Repubs and Indies actually prefer Clinton"

1. The Vichy dems like her because she's DLC to the core

2. There ARE no 'progressive' republicans.

3. Independants, as a rule, do not like like Mrs Clinton and prefer Obama

4. The notion that Obama hasn't been vetted by the oppo research people yet is absurd. The DLC and the GOP have been after his ass for months now dishing up what little dirt they could find; It's been disgusting to watch. Besides, everyone knows that when the GOP can't find anything they make shit up. As do the Clintonistas, come to think of it.
