The Democrats have decided to drop by Fox News this week, with Barack Obama on Fox News Sunday and Hillary Clinton went on Bill O'Reilly. But more might be coming, according to Chris Wallace, who reported this morning that Obama was "thinking seriously" about appearing on the Factor:

The problem is that if Obama is going to be the "uniter" and is willing to talk to certain heinous world leaders, how can he not go on Fox? However, by going on Faux News he legitimizes them and stoops to their level. On the other hand (how many hands is this now? I might be running out...), if he DOES go on, the people who only get their information from Fox, might come to realize that he's not some so-called Manchurian candidate that they think he is. Bill O might say something like, "Wow, he never once yelled 'Hey M effer where's my iced tea?!'" and I would PAY to see that.

Going on Fox legitimizes them. It has nothing to do with fearing them. It is why all the Dems agreed at the beginning of the primary NOT to attend any debates there.

What's so wrong about 'legitimizing" Fox News. It's the highest-rated news network - that makes them legitimate. By going on Fox, Hillary and Obama are trying to LEGITIMIZE THEMSELVES before they are made to look like far left loons. Pretty smart idea, if you ask me.

Just please no. Faux News doesn't deserve any democrat's "endorsement". They're just playing nice to get close enough to stab you in the back.

He should Bill was tough with Hillary, while Chris Wallace was a cream puff, and asked nothing hard and just let Obama give his stump speech all through the interview

I'm sorry Obama, but would be down right stupid. Bill O'reilly does not deserve to sit next to Obama. Bill O'reilly is one of the biggest hypocrits Enough is enough. Fox News is a horrible media outlet and all they do on that show is trash people who they don't like or who have disagreed with them. They should be fined each time they go on tv saying that they are fair and balanced and if they had any sense, they would know that everytime they make such a ridiculous statement, people just laugh to themselves.

Bill has been so obsessed with Rev. Wright, I mean, sending a helicopter to fly over this man's property and telling the world what kind of cars he has and how much his property is worth is just silly. This is a grown man who is obviously jealous of REv. Wright's possessions. It is obvious that he doesn't believe a black man can have. And then you have sean Hannity, who is so obsessed with Bill Ayers, that it looks like his veins are going to pop out of his neck when he continues to talk about him. These guys are pure hypocrits.

Bill has had his own problems with sexual harrassment on the job, for which someone was paid off and Sean has dealings with the guy Hal Turner. If you have never heard of Hal Turner, just google him, and see what a horrible person he is.

He's already appeared on Fox so what is this "let Hillary stoop that low" stuff? He's been there and already done it. This would be nothing new. And voters do watch Fox. I don't but many do.

DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE MEDIA TACTICS !!!! The media loves to pretend that the others in the media are pro-Obama (which anyone with common sense sees through), while constantly hyping Hillary's never-ending comeback.....and focusing on where 'Obama went wrong' (although he continues to get closer to the Oval Office). Then there's the old 'expectation' media trick which is sooooo see-through. Ever since Pa. the media has hyped that Obama is to win N. Carolina in a landslide. The logic for the landslide victory is because black people live there.....so it should be an automatic super landslide. With that ignorant logic, they should have hyped how Hillary would win Iowa, Alaska, Wisconsin, and every state with no blacks ! The medias goal is to create the expectation of a landslide victory for Obama then if Hillary loses by....say 8 or 9....the media will hype it as the greatest comeback ever. And if she wins N. C......just start the Inauguration !!! DON'T BE FOOLED. There is NO WAY Hillary can win this nomination without the DNC stealing it for her, even if she wins both N.C. & Indiana. She would have to win all 9 remaining primaries 76% to 24%, which is IMPOSSIBLE !!! They conned us with the war.....don't let them con us with the future of America ! MEDIA LIES MUST STOP !!!!

Obama, should be smarter than that! This fake called O'really is a joke, a gimic and a pawn of the corporate media who have no other agenda but to ruin Barack. Not only does O'really, spew lies and perverts the truth constantly (we didn't invade Iraq) but just look at him; he looks like death warmed over....

Your church bulletin had some amazing things in it, which can fairly be described as extremely anti-Israel and some would say anti-semitic, such as the charge that Israel was developing a bomb that would kill only Arabs. Did you ever read anything in one of the Trinity bulletins that caused you to approach the leadership of the church and ask for more judgment or balance in the publications?

People are worried about your judgment. There's your friendship with Pastor Wright, and you say you didn't know about his quote rants." There's your friendship with Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, and you say you were 8 when they were blowing up people and buildings, but in November of 2007 they said horrible things about the U.S. There's Tony Rezko, your business partner on the land deal which makes him your neighbor, and now he's in the dock.

How can people be confident that your judgment about people has improved?

I'd rather that my president was friendly with aging "terrorists" (in this case, another word for spoiled college student criminals) than granting them pardons. And, in this case, he's not even friends with them, tool. And his "business partner" (which he wasn't) is now in legal trouble. So was Hillary's husband for lying about things he was doing in their house while she was there. I'll let her slide on that if you'll quit drinking the right wing Kool-Aid that looks under every rock for some connection to someone who did something bad some time. Can we talk about issues, Little Neocon?

I'd like to know more about Sidny Blumenthal's relationship with Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn....it's the latest buzz. Sidney Blumenthal is the Clinton advistor who has been spreading e-mail smears about Obama being a Muslim and lots of other slime. Obama was only 8years old during the Ayers controversy, but Blumenthal and Ayers have known each other for years.

I'd like to know about your friendship with Bernadine Dohrn and William Ayers.

They hosted an event for you when you ran for state senate, right?

Bernadine Dohrn worked at Sidley and Austin when your wife worked there, and maybe when you were a summer associate there, is that correct?

You and William Ayers served on a foundation board together, correct?

So how well do you know them and how often have you seen them over the past dozen years?

Did you ever socialize with them?

Let's talk about Tony Rezko. He helped you buy your house? Did you have any other business dealings with him at all?

Did you socialize with him? Attend events at his home?

Michelle Obama gave a speech a week ago Friday in which she bemoaned how much you two had been in debt until you wrote your two best-sellers. How much had you been in debt?

She also talked about the burdens of the student loans you two had accumulated. How much had you two borrowed to get through college and law school?

Did you receive financial aid other than loans from Columbia or Harvard Law?

Harvard Law has a program that encourages new grads to go into public interest work. Were there any such incentives or encouragments when you left Harvard Law School?

Do you think the country has made great progress on race relations?

Do you believe the government had anything to do with inventing AIDs?

O'Reilly would do us all a great favor if he asked all of these questions:

What year did you join Trinity Church?

How often did you attend services there? (This requires follow-up after the inevitable ambiguous answer. Wwas it quarterly, monthly, weekly? Did you belong to any of the church's many organizations, like a men's fellowship? These aren't trick questions. Any church member knows exactly how often they go to church, and the patterns don't change much after they are set.)

When you attended the Million Man March, did you go with a group of men from Trinity? Did you see Pastor Wright on that trip?

How often would you see Pastor Wright in a setting away from church.

Did you go out to dinner together? Socialize together? Travel together?

You heard him preach on "white man's greed," that's in your memoir Dreams from My Father. And when you told him he couldn't deliver the opening prayer at your campaign kick-off, you said it was because he could be "a little rough." How often did you hear him preach on the greed of white people, and what did you mean by "a little rough."

Is he competing to be Ms. America? All of your questions relate to personality issues. Are our minds that small?

Was Hillary asked about any of her associations? No she was asked about policy.

Presidential candidates should be asked about policy issues, not feel good questions or gotcha questions like you propose.

They relate to his judgement or lack there of.

He may wish to go back to eating his waffle, but these questions will dog him. Unless he answers them now, voters will answer them for him.

BigLib is way too obsessed with these very important issues. Perhaps you could ponder

The Economy

The War

The Environment

Health Care

And while your at it

World Peace

Then we could say BigLib is a Big Thinker

Now we have different questions.

You're pathetic biglib. Obama joined Trinity for the same reasons thousands of blacks and whites attend: Fellowship and networking. Trinity church is considered a mainstream church. African-Americans who move to Chicago are told it's the church to join for fellowship and networking.

Tamrin Hall of MSNBC attended Trinity several times and said she never heard anything controversial. She spoke to several colleagues over the weekend, who regularly attend Trinity, who said they've never heard anything controversial either. And so what if they did?

People remain with their church in spite of their pastor. The spirit of community and fellowship is much bigger than the pastor.

People came to America to escape religious persecution in Europe. Your comments are demeaning to both whites and blacks. People can attend any church they want to. You sound like a Marxist. In the old Soviet Union people were rounded up and interrogated for attending church, especially churches that spoke up against the government.

Perhaps you should organize 'brown shirts' like Hitler did. This way way you can go house to house and interrogate people as to what church they attend. You sound like a frustrated interrogator. Guess you missed your calling. You sound bitter.

'people remain with their church in spite of their pastor'...where? in Bizarro-World? i've been worshiping at my church for as long as obama has been a member of his; it didn't take me 20 years and a media uproar to figure out where my pastor was coming from...here's a clue-if your pastor is busy preaching conspiracy theories and hatred for your country, it's a good bet that he's neglecting what he's called to address as a pastor...Christ's message!
if you are in your church for 'the spirit of community and fellowship' , you're missing the most important part, and might as well sleep in on sunday and go hang out at the local community center...if you're attending church for 'networking', you'rer taking up valuable pew space that could be filled by someone interested in worshiping God

I think it would be a good idea. Obama comes across well in interviews -- very thoughtful and sincere for a politician. With this recent smear campaign, Obama has lost the Fox crowd anyway and this would be a chance to win over some of them. Very few people actually like Hilary; some voters just need reassurance that Obama isn't hostile to them and their views.

Besides, I doubt O'Reilly would be particularly nasty because he'd want to get Obama again to boost ratings. It's a win-win.

I say go for it, Barak.
