Obama May Go On O'Reilly Factor, Says Chris Wallace

The Democrats have decided to drop by Fox News this week, with Barack Obama on Fox News Sunday and Hillary Clinton went on Bill O'Reilly. But more might be coming, according to Chris Wallace, who reported this morning that Obama was "thinking seriously" about appearing on the Factor:

O'Reilly is not worthy of an interview with Senator Barack Obama. He knows all the answers to his own questions and talks over people when they don't say what he wants to hear. He seldom asks a straight forward question, but rather he often asks loaded questions, i.e. “Can you believe this guy?” referring to Rev. Wright, as opposed to, ‘What is your opinion on the Rev. Wright issue?’ Regardless what Hillary Clinton had responded, he would have had the same response. He never allows guest with differing opinions to have the last word, if any word; why would someone go on that farce of a show?

Unfortunately, to reach people, he may have to do it. I just cancelled my cable subscription to FOX. I just can't take it anymore. I hope more people are brave enough to follow. If enough people hurt them in the wallet, then maybe their tabloid news will stop.

Why? Do you really think that anyone who tunes into Fox, especially O'Reilly, would ever vote for Obama in the first place? He has nothing to gain by going on O'Reilly. And now that Chris Wallace has put it out there, O'Reilly will start harping on Obama saying "he's scared to face me". Hillary wasn't scared, but Obama is. If Obama falls for that I'll be really pissed at him.

I think this is a good thing - Obama's philosophy is to reach out to evrybody. So - lots of people only watch Fox (gasp) - let them see & hear him interviewed instead of the nasty sound bites & biased commentary they usually see.

Culture FX, saying Fox isn't a real news organization not worthy of real guests is a facist remark. It starts there. As far as brainwashed goes. FoxNews = Evil is leftwing propaganda. Not everything on Foxnews is a commercial for the Republican party. Next you'll say CNN isn't "liberal" enough. News shows tend to report on the most popular topics and cover multiple angles. Manifestos, well they circulate amongst those who only want one side of the story. I'm not saying O'Reilly isn't a conservative, but there are at least 20 other programs on that station.

Its sad to hear when a "liberal" would silence free speech.

I think he should absolutely do it. If he's bringing people together, he can't leave people out. Plus, one of my friends told me he thinks that O'Reilly actually likes Obama. He's demo for Obama, and he listens to him. I was surprised, but it did give me a unique view of this dude. Apparently, when he gives it to people, he's fair..mean­ing no one is immune. Obama can handle it. I highly doubt he'll say something on it as stupid as "god bless rich people"

You keep telling yourself that. In the past couple of weeks, Hillary's numbers have been climbing. Obama's have been sinking. And we are no where near November. She is the better politician on a one on one basis. The repubes have been trying to bring her whole family down for sixteen years. They can't do it. Obama is the great unknown and some of the stuff that has come out about him lately (his house purchased by a "trust", not by he and his wife), are questionable, to say the least.

The real trap is to avoid observing things from different angles. Sometimes I visit Huff, or Drudge sometimes I watch FoxNews, sometimes CNN. Fact is if you don't spread your mind around, you end up putting the blinders on... watch a healthy balanced diet.
