ABC's the note says Obama will roll out the endorsement of another DNC ex-chair today.

Speaking of math -- the Obama campaign rolls out another former DNC chairman's endorsement on Friday: Paul Kirk, a superdelegate who led the party from 1985-1989, is coming out for Obama -- a day after Andrew's switch, an Obama campaign official tells The Note. (And don't count on that being it for the day, as the dribble continues.)

If Clinton, D-N.Y., can make this is a race yet, we're about to find out just how patient Democrats can be with a race that's showing signs of shredding the party. Notwithstanding moves by Andrew, Kirk, and the like, Clinton needs superdelegates to wait for her case to play out -- and then she needs an utter and total rejection of the Democratic frontrunner.

Yesterday Joe Andrew, former DNC Chair under Bill Clinton, withdrew his support from Sen Clinton and endorsed Obama. Read why Joe decided to switch to an Obama endorsement.

Political Wire notes that Obama after the last two days, Obama has pulled ahead in endorsements from former DNC chairs:

For those keeping score, The Hotline notes that of the 11 living Democratic National Committee chairs between 1981 and 2005, six have endorsed Sen. Barack Obama and four have backed Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Only former Colorado Gov. Gov. Roy Romer has remained neutral.

Gotta hand it to the Dems. They find a new way to lose POTUS races every time.

This time they are doing something thought impossible. They are nominating Barack Obama, someone even less qualified for the job of POTUS than Bush was in 2000. Amazing.

Hell, Bush isn't even qualified NOW.

Sad that folks don't get it!! You'd think that they'd learn after eight years of Bush.

Talk to us again in November when you will be getting used to saying President Obama.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 05:48 PM on 05/02/2008

If that ever happened, but it I don't think it will... I bet you wouldn't be saying it for long. I think the repubs might assassinate him or something, just like JFK and MLK and Lincoln. Everyone that Obama likes to compare himself to.

Obama is more qualified than MRS Clinton; has a better record of his OWN accomplishments: is bright and well educated, she is merely well educated. Obama has managed his campaign brilliantly unlike the KEY STONE KLINTONS.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 06:11 PM on 05/02/2008

Experience doesn't equal qualified. History shows us that one. Look at the miserable administration of Buchanan, the most experienced person who came to the office of President. Arguably the least experienced Presidents - Lincoln and Kennedy - are ranked in the top 5.

In the current situation, sleeping next to a president doesn't make you qualified. If that were the case, Laura and Barbara should run in 2012.

Hardly. The most inexperienced, unqualified person ever elected to the Presidency was easliy George Bush. Three ruined businesses, an alcoholic, an AWOL reservist, whose only claim to fame was geting his daddy to provide bond financing with your money for a baseball stadium so he could throw out balls.

So what you don't get is that if the Repubs can elect Bush, (twice!) even after they saw how bad he was, they can certainly position McCain to win this election. You think you can beat them with a first-term Senator with no real significant experience at the national level, no governorship, no running a company.....NOTHING? His experience as a community activist and church orator may play well to the far-left and the college-age children on this site, but it isn't going to sell him to middle America. They want someone with substance and a track-record, and that's Hillary Clinton.

To be fair, no one was , is, or could ever be, less qualified than George Bush. If he were the French emperor he would like to be, his name would be George the Stupid. Barack is just inexperienced, vain, elitist, and passive - other than that he's okay.

Obama is still going to get stomped if the Dems give him the nom.

That's why all of the superdelegates aren't coming out to endorse Obama. They don't want to lose in November.

WOW! TWO former DNC chairmen are supporting Obama!!!

Then there are all of the rest who have signed a letter of support for HRC.

Kenneth Curtis --Former DNC Chairman (1977-1978)

Charles Manatt -- Former DNC Chairman (1981-1985)

The Family of the late Ron Brown -- Former DNC Chairman (1989-1993)

Mrs. Alma Brown, Michael Arrington Brown & Tracey Brown James

Debra DeLee -- Former DNC Chair (1994-1995)

Don Fowler -- Former DNC National Chairman (1995-1997)

Steve Grossman -- Former DNC National Chairman (1997-1999)

Governor Edward Rendell -- Former DNC General Chairman (1999-2001)

Terence McAuliffe -- Former DNC Chairman (2001-2005)

Better start up the Obama Slime Ball Machine. There will be some heavy overtime for the sliming shift.

An excerpt follows:
May 2, 2008

Dear Fellow Democratic Party Member:

.
...Those of us who support Hillary Clinton for president do so with the knowledge that she, just like us, has dedicated her life to improving the standard of living for others, and she has worked to make our Party the strong force that it is today. Her values are our Party’s values. Her record of fiscal prudence is matched by her commitment to social responsibility. Her accomplishments in the area of strengthening America’s security are a matter of public record.

I think it's fine that superdelegates switch now... right before a major election. It shows that Obama is a politician and deals are being made behind the scenes.

After giving your profile a look through, it is sadly apparent that you lack any intelligence. You feel the need to attack as if people posting are swinging for you. Its people like you that worry my come November. The thing that you have failed to grasp is that Hillary won't become president this year. The super delegates will not over turn the popular vote and since I am sure you took 3rd grad Math atleast a few times in your life, you have come to realize that it is statistically impossible for her to over-take Obama in the popular vote. With that said, come November and you stay inside or go vote for McCain and after coming on here and saying it would be "Our" fault for it...I fail to grasp the logic in your statement. Think it over again and come back. I won't sleep tonight as I look forward to another one of your riveting and intellectually appealing responses.

By the way...if you want facts...why don't you check out Hillary's Foreign Policy history...its a great read...

You're either crazy or just plain bigoted, but consider this: Rev Wright already lead prayer in the White House. It was Bill and Hillary Clinton who invited him there to pray for Bill Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky mess. Got a problem with it? An equally valid, yet somehow overlooked, question is:

what role would Rev. William Procanick - hillary clinton's CONVICTED and JAILED PEDOPHILE pastor play in a clinton white house?

http://www.democrats.org/page/community/post/ebonytouch/Ccp5

Will he hold down the fat file clerks while dollar bill sodomizes them ?

Also note that dollar bill was more than happy to have Jeremiah Wright come to the white house and 'pray' with him when he got caught with his weenie in the wrong place AGIN

This is the benchmark for Obamaphiles. They are profane, nasty, ugly and either unbelieveably stupid, or just inept at distinguishing significant differences. Obviously, neither Hillary nor Bill had any reason to know, nor suspect that Rev. Procanick was going to do something inappropriate with some girl in private. They are categorically, BLAMELESS! That is dramatically different from Obama's poor judgement in choosing as his mentor and spiritual advisor, the man for whose sermon he has named his very campaign. Wright didn't do something in private, with one girl. He did what he does publicly, in front of Obama, his wife and his children, Sunday after Sunday, after Sunday for 20 years, and Obama didn't object until it began to get in the way of his coronation.

As even the rabidly right-wing Richard Mellon Scaife admitted when endorsing Hillary in PA, "She has shown great courage. At this point, Obama has not."

You might find him in Hilary's White House. The person who set up the Wright interview with the Press Club was a rabid Hilary supporter. I think it is more likely the clintons bought him off. He knows the Clilntons, was invited to the White House the day before he told the truth about Monica, he was there for "spiritual counseling."

Didn't you get the memo from the Clinton Campaign? Indiana and North Carolina don't count. Unless, of course, the results favor Clinton. In that case, the Super Delegates should base their entire choice on it.

No I think the Clinton Campaign changed their position. They are following Obama's
high-road and saying that 50-50 for both these states would be fair. It doesn't matter who votes. We should just be fair about things.

but keep in mind that this line of arguement only holds true, if Obama wins the state. if hillary wins, the supers can follow their conscience and vote Obama.

There are a lot of things being aimed at the voters to influence their votes. Two super delegates, out of hundreds, endorsing Obama... is that really that "worrisome"?

There was one debate on ABC and it's unfortunate that Obama couldn't handle the tough questions. CNN and MSNBC couldn't be any more slanted for Obama and the 20 debates reflected that. You're for Obama because the media wants you to be. The same way the movie industry wants you to go see their shitty movies - Pirates of Carribean.

No matter how hard people like try, the simple fact is you cant stop the future from happening! Unlike you, Obama supporters are not afraid of the Republicans, we are not afraid of what they might say! What the Republicans do or say is irrelevant, its what we Democrats do in response that matters. Democrats with mindsets like yours are the reason we are in Iraq and the reason George Bush has been "allowed" to get away with wrecking our country of the 7 years. Obama will not allow fear of the Republicans dictate his actions, I truely feel sorry for you! People like you should not allow fear to averride your better judement! YOUR THINKING IS SO REMOTE IT CANNOT BE CONTROLLED.

It is hard to imagine how agonizing this must be for Mrs. Clinton. I feel for her. Really, I do. But it is her own choice to stick it out.

Yes we can! Yes we can! Yes we can!

No sympathy from me, since she played dirty politics. I used to like her. Not now.

Hillary is proving to be a gritty candidate. She may just win this thing after all. The developing belief is that a vote for Obama is a vote for McCain in the fall. His negatives are so great now and he cant shake them. The Calf. remarks may be the most damaging of all. Someone that out of touch with the average voter wouldnt be concerned with what they are paying for gas and would oppose an immediate tax break at the pump. He doesnt realize that five or ten dollars a week would feed a struggling family. He isnt what he claimed he was. Alas...as rev wright stated, just another politician saying what politicians say...

No, as Andrews said yesterday, "A vote for Hilary is a vote for McCain. " Maybe she can be his running mate, they agree on so many things: starting a war with Iraq, starting a war with Iran, torture, okaying the use of cluster bombs, taking money from lobbyists and PACs, the stupid "gas tax holiday," I don't really see any difference. If you are serious about transforming our government, about having a President who is working for the average people and not the rich, about having transparency and accountability in government, your only choice is Obama.

DISPATCHES FROM THE GROUND WAR...

DRUDGE IS REPORTING A REAL "FIX"--EX-CLINTON SHILL STEPHANOPOULOS TO HOST HILLARY "TOWN HALL"(APPARENTLY HE DID NOT HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO FULLY PUT HIS POLITICAL BIASES ON PARADE DURING THE PHILADELPHIA DEBATE, OR DID HE?) ...

HILLARY 'TOWN HALL' TO BE HOSTED BY EX-CLINTON STAFFER STEPHANOPOULOS
Thu May 01 2008 17:25:20 ET

Just hours before the Indiana and North Carolina presidential primaries, ABCNEWS has offered to air a 'town hall' meeting with Hillary Clinton -- to be hosted by former Clinton staffer George Stephanopoulos!

Embracing and racing through a brave new era of journalism, it is not clear if ABCNEWS will inform viewers of Stephanopoulos's past employment.

Stephanopoulos helped run Mr. Clinton's first presidential election campaign and acted as his press secretary and advisor on policy and strategy before joining ABC NEWS.

An executive at a rival network mocked, "We look forward to ABC holding the next town hall meeting with President Bush, hosted by Karl Rove!"

ABC will air the hour-long Hillary forum live from Indianapolis on Sunday.

"George has interviewed all the candidates time and time again and has put tough but fair questions to each," said a network spokesman. "Expect the same on Sunday."

The network hit controversy last month over the decision to allow Bill Clinton's former press secretary to moderate a debate between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama -- without any disclaimer.

I believe Barack will be on Press the Meat this Sunday. Is that not correct? If so, Russert's ratings will blow Stephanopoulos' ratings away.

TO ALL THE OBAMA SUPPORTERS:
Since the media is refusing to reveal/report the Paul vs Clinton fraud case in court right now, we need to create our own movement and flood every blog on CNN and every blogging website on the World Wide Web with information from the case regardless of what the topic is. For those that don't know - Google Paul vs Clinton and hold on to your shirt with what you read!! L.A., California Case #BC304174

I'm an Obama supporter, I just read about it, and my shirt hasn't gone anywhere. This is a non-story.

Sheryl... leave the thinking to guys okay! This is a very old story and nothing is there. If you were old enough to stay up past 10pm and watch the news 8 years ago... you would have known that. Now... go get a manicure or put some acne medication on.

The "shit" comment is audible and visible and there is no doubt. The other comment is mumbled, it's hard to tell what he said but it was something he didn't want people to hear.

What an odious individual Kantor appears to be.

I had no idea what you were talking about at first, but then clicked back to "Clinton Advisor Claims .. Article.' about how a video "resurfaced."

I couldn't hear what he said but it SURE sounds like "How would you like to be ... " It also sounded about 4:50 in by the way that he said "These people are shit" which actually doesn't make any sense seeing how they were reading "these people" going for Clinton.

Nothing odious about Kantor here anyway.
