ABC's the note says Obama will roll out the endorsement of another DNC ex-chair today.

Speaking of math -- the Obama campaign rolls out another former DNC chairman's endorsement on Friday: Paul Kirk, a superdelegate who led the party from 1985-1989, is coming out for Obama -- a day after Andrew's switch, an Obama campaign official tells The Note. (And don't count on that being it for the day, as the dribble continues.)

If Clinton, D-N.Y., can make this is a race yet, we're about to find out just how patient Democrats can be with a race that's showing signs of shredding the party. Notwithstanding moves by Andrew, Kirk, and the like, Clinton needs superdelegates to wait for her case to play out -- and then she needs an utter and total rejection of the Democratic frontrunner.

Yesterday Joe Andrew, former DNC Chair under Bill Clinton, withdrew his support from Sen Clinton and endorsed Obama. Read why Joe decided to switch to an Obama endorsement.

Political Wire notes that Obama after the last two days, Obama has pulled ahead in endorsements from former DNC chairs:

For those keeping score, The Hotline notes that of the 11 living Democratic National Committee chairs between 1981 and 2005, six have endorsed Sen. Barack Obama and four have backed Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Only former Colorado Gov. Gov. Roy Romer has remained neutral.

the DNC's treatment of the best woman candidate ever to run for President is clear they are as sexist as the media.

If Barrak Hussein Obama becomes the nominee - I will switch parties and vote for McCain.

Go for it Nikki. If we cannot do any better than to elect Hillary Clinton as the first woman president, then this country is in far worse shape than we thought. I'm a middle aged white woman who thought it would be great if she ran, but, I changed my mind months ago. She is not a worthy representative and has set women's rights back at least a decade based on her behavior in this campaign.

A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 30% of the nation’s Likely Voters believe Barack Obama denounced his former Pastor, Jeremiah Wright, because he was outraged. Most—58%--say he denounced the Pastor for political convenience. The survey was conducted on Wednesday and Thursday night. Obama made his statements about Wright on Tuesday.

. Only 33% of voters believe that Obama was surprised by the views Wright expressed at Monday’s press conference. Fifty-two percent (52%) say he was not surprised.

Fifty-six percent (56%) say it’s at least somewhat likely that Obama “shares some of Pastor Wright’s controversial views about the United States.” That figure includes 26% who say it’s Very Likely Obama holds such views. At the other end of the spectrum 24% say it’s Not Very Likely that Obama shares such viewsSeventy-four percent (74%) of Republicans believe it’s somewhat or very likely that Obama shares some of Wright’s views. That assessment is shared by 48% of Democrats and 49% of those not affiliated with either major party.

Democrats are evenly divided as to whether or not Obama was surprised by Wright’s comments on Monday. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 36% say Obama was surprised while 45% disagree.

Is this really how you want to pick a president? Guilt by association? Because if that's the case, then Hillary should have gotten the chair a looooooooooooong time ago.

And the point of this is what? Where is the poll on whether or not people believe Billarys lawsuit will bring them down, that she blatantly lied about Bosnia, that she has given full disclosure on her tax returns etc? You Obama haters would rather live in your small world and cling to the assinine government you have than join the rest of the words grown up nations. You know nations that actually educate children, make healthcare available and affordable, have a stable and growing middle class. Sorry the rest of us are ready to once again lead and Obama is the best chance we have to do it.

Here they come! I hope more will defend a campaign that has done everything right, even in the face of hard politics. They have not been reactive ("Shame on you, Barck Obama), but held their heads high, allowing people the right to think and act for themselves. The people are behind Obama ...the delegate count, the popular vote, the states, and the money show it.

And, if Gore had won a small state like WV, he would have won the general election. It is not just Ohio and Florida. ALL votes count Hillary!!!! caucuses too! Red state, blue states, everyone. no posturing here.

Let the superdelegates come out and stand for "Honest" and "True" democracy.

It hurts a little. But, contrary to what HRC wants and thinks, not nearly enough.

I don't think the General will be that big of a deal. Once this becomes a 2 person race the numbers will put Obama in the 60% range against McCain. Because the GOP will be under the microscope also. Not just Obama, for the Wright thing.

In the end, Wright is just a church guy and not advising or influencing discisions made or to be made by Obama. That is why he is making it through, what the MSM has made into a big deal. All that help and HRC isn't doing better.....Shows how strong she really is.

Oh, and heres the fake promise of $30. You'll never get it but vote for me anyway.

HRC was hoping that Wright would be the ruin of Obama. The people yet to vote who can't afford to pay constant attention to the MSM and follow this for a living may move a point or two because of Writght, But it is proving otherwise with the super delegates. Clinton needs the supers more than she needs the regular folks. Much more. Her need for regular folks only goes as far as making an argument to the supers. I don't think that the supers are listning to her as much as she was hoping. Bill either. Next week she is going to pour it on. even less will be holding her back once Obama takes the lead in the supers too.

Gas tax is proof that she thinks voters are stupid.

Supers should hold out until jan 3rd.......unless they are for Clinton. More 2 faced BS.

Why is Wolfson lying about what Hillary said on the O’Lielly Factor? He said she didn't say what everyone heard her say.

[O’Reilly said,] “I'm not middle class, I'm a rich guy.” Clinton responded (in an awkward moment), “Rich people, God bless us. We deserve all the opportunities to make sure our country and our blessings continue until the next generation.”

Stop! Stop it, you guys!!!

A war between Clinton and Obama supporters is one that BOTH sides lose.

McCain, McCain, McCain! That's where the fight is. We address McCain, and we have a chance to end the Iraq quagmire -- avoid recklessness in Iran -- conduct a national healthcare debate (and possibly, finally, acheive universal healthcare) -- restore our system of justice -- and reject Bush economics for the gloriously self-interested policies of a moron that it really is.

A Democratic candidate -- whoever it is -- is answerable to US, and we ALL want to defeat McCain.

I am for Obama. I am against McCain. I will vote D in November.

THROWAWAYS: Obama & McCain
Who’s on first? It seems Hillary would rather McCain win (if she can’t) so she can try again in 2012. Limbaugh and “right wing” would rather McCain lose to Hillary so that they can reign supreme until 2012 and Democratic leadership would rather Obama win nomination, regardless of winning presidency knowing they can check-mate a McCain presidency, to avert another eight-years of Clinton. The poor unknowing populace are out here putting their blood and sweat into just a political game. Go figure!

McCain 2008 -> Hillary 2012 -> Hu Jintao 2016.

When Obama means "change", it is not just that HE is going to bring change, or
WE are going to bring change, but that he understands that great changes are inevitable in the next eight - even four - years. Not 2100, not 2050. 2012, 2016 at the latest. American influence is waning because of our Party like it's still 1999 attitude. We're not facing the changes that are all too obvious - and if we don't act soon, we will have to face the fact that it is the Chinese who are paying for our party, it is the planet which is paying for our party, is the poor of this world who are paying for our party, and the bill will soon be due. The bandaid solutions McCain/Clinton proposes (yes, really one entity - the Corporatist dual-headed puppet) will only exacerbate the problem. Obama understands that change is inevitable, and we have to act NOW to prevent major disasters from happening in the next ten years.

Obama 08. Obama 2012.
Happiness and peace to all.

You are quoting a factor that makes no sense. Calling people on the phone means, what times, who was home, and then qualifying that with why?

Dig into that poll. I will remind everyone that there was a Poll that showed the Iraq War unified the populace. Only 12 percent disagreed with the War. If you asked that 12 percent they would have given you a detail of why. They would cite Vietnam etc.

Come on. If you qualified the other 88 percent you get stuff like we need to support the president, the world has changed since 9/11, Saddam is not complying, we should have got him the first time. No one really dealing with the consequences. Even Wolfowitz said it, Powell admtted it, and the list goes on. What I am saying is that voters need to ask themselves if a Candidate who is jaded at American Governance sounds similar to Wright. Yes.

I sound similar to Jeremiah Wright. A lot of us do from time to time. We are dissatisfied with Government. To link Obama to Wright on that alone is like linking Al-Qaeda to Iraq's imaginary nukes. Where we disagree with Wright is the problem. And people fail to notice that people can have the same goal and different avenues to reaching that goal. Hillary mandate Health Care. Obama make it affordable. And sometimes people go too far and go way out. I am sure Obama disagrees with that.
