ABC's the note says Obama will roll out the endorsement of another DNC ex-chair today.

Speaking of math -- the Obama campaign rolls out another former DNC chairman's endorsement on Friday: Paul Kirk, a superdelegate who led the party from 1985-1989, is coming out for Obama -- a day after Andrew's switch, an Obama campaign official tells The Note. (And don't count on that being it for the day, as the dribble continues.)

If Clinton, D-N.Y., can make this is a race yet, we're about to find out just how patient Democrats can be with a race that's showing signs of shredding the party. Notwithstanding moves by Andrew, Kirk, and the like, Clinton needs superdelegates to wait for her case to play out -- and then she needs an utter and total rejection of the Democratic frontrunner.

Yesterday Joe Andrew, former DNC Chair under Bill Clinton, withdrew his support from Sen Clinton and endorsed Obama. Read why Joe decided to switch to an Obama endorsement.

Political Wire notes that Obama after the last two days, Obama has pulled ahead in endorsements from former DNC chairs:

For those keeping score, The Hotline notes that of the 11 living Democratic National Committee chairs between 1981 and 2005, six have endorsed Sen. Barack Obama and four have backed Sen. Hillary Clinton.

Only former Colorado Gov. Gov. Roy Romer has remained neutral.

Read HuffPost's OffTheBus Superdelegate Investigation.

Obamas a phoney, a wanna be minister that ignores anyone who disagrees with him. His fake "talk" inspires ...... but ...... "when everything is said and done considerably more is said than done". It looks to me like people are pandering to obama to avoid being called a racist ......not because he's a great candidate. While the american idol and ophra fans may give in to the kool-aide rhetoric, its just simply smoke and mirrors.

WoW!!

I've been unfortuate enough of late to have listened to AM radio, because the antenna on my car is broken. The only good that has come of it is that I've listened to Rush the Morbidly Obese and Hannity the fascist for the first time. It's amazing how these guys lie and spin everything.

What's really amazing is that you parrot everything they have to say. Gosh, you couldn't be any more of a plant.

Maybe you should watch the video of a minister asking McCain if he called his wife a demeaning 4 letter word. He did. he also is in bed with Hagee who makes Wright look like Pippi Longstocking.

Obama has shown better and more sound judgement at every critical juncture.
Billary is lies and photo ops. for 'the poor'. McCain is a tired old empty suit.

Do the research and you will change your mind. I did.
I will vote for Nader before i throw my country to dogs like McSame and Billary.
There is no 'lesser of 2 evils'. They are cut from the same political cloth.

While I come here to read comments and occasionally make comments, my goal is to educate myself as to what is going on that the MSM won't report.

That being said - when I reply to a comment by a Clinton supporter, I do not do so with the whole intent of converting them, but to shoot down an untruth or defend a wrong.

Again, that being said - you truly need some enlightening. It is absolutely amazing how close minded Clinton supporters are. The few that had an open mind have already abandoned Hillary. I am hoping that there are more in Hillary's camp that have an open mind. Perhaps they, too, will realize what a terrible mistake it would be to have Hillary as President.

Thank you for your patience and for listening to an old white woman who just happens to support Barack Obama.

I know-I know--Hillary also has corporate lobbyists on her side and I haven't heard her deny it. Obama is a hypocrite and the Republicans will expose his corporate ties in November.

I don't get what you're trying to say. A super delegate (whether a SD or not ) doesn't work for the person they endorse. Please get a clue. Clinton's demos show she gets a lion's share of the uneducated. And you just proved that point!

Remember somethings people for within may want change too. How is best to help change things besides the people what once was apart of it.

Stop being made a fool. It very good reason Hillary gets the support of the so called "less educated" people. her core supports are easily fool by hillary camp simple minded points. However I agree obama is talks to America like we all are on the same level. He have to realized alot of Americans are not smart enough to be trusted with the welfare of the country. thats why politicians lie to America time and time again. however once they win they do what they feel is right. However, obama shows he either don't understand that lying is apart to the game or may be he feel Americans are smarter than they look.

WTF !
I love it when people actually think that they are capable of drawing any conclusion about a candidate's character based on an endorsement by someone who doesn't have a thing to do with that candidate's character. What a sad stretch.

I know, I know . . . decorum suggests we not attack those whose principle form of transportation . . . is a very short school bus.

Hillary has so much baggage even her supporters can't keep up with all she's got.

Wait till the Repugs swiftboat her on defending a rapist of a 12 year girl and not only defending him, but putting that little girl on the stand and making her out to be a 12 year old tease who asked for it. Clinton is so good a what she does, the rapist got off and the 12 year old has been in and out of rehab all her life.

The Repugs will try to swiftboat any Dem any November, but they'll have 3x's a much to swiftboat Clinton with, mark my workds

The subtitle to the Clinton Campaign might be "How I lost my egalitarian values andlearned to love the race card", a tactic that seems to be able to polarize the Democratic base around the country, without advancing any of the principles of democracy, wise stewardship of the environment, and the promotion of equal opportunity for all people of talents, and a commitment to personal and professional integrity. Hillary has abandoned the party, which is why those who can look past the world's largest ego in a pandering pant suit can't stomach here. Is the country bigger than the Clintons, and is all of us working together under truly new leadership more important that the Clinton message of "don't worry, little people, mama has a mockingbird for you, and if that mockingbird don't sing, Bubba Billy has a diamond ring...?" Before you cast your lot with Hillary, ask yourselves how many times she has lied to you, how much she has kept from you in the Clinton library, and if faced with a choice between keeping her promises to you or selling you out in a minute to advance her mantra of "it's my party, and I'll lie if I want to, lie if i want to..' and her own political career, what she will do to cover her pantsuited behind as it catches fire....?

Clinton thinks that voters are stupid. Proof is the Gas tax thing. "OH, they'll vote for me because I will dangle $30 in front of their noses, then it will be too late for them to be mad".

And the Clinton campaign tries to paint Obama supporters as "cultists"? When you are attracted to the candidate based on the merits, it's called a wise decision. When you are attractred to a candidate based on name brand, pedigree and gimmicks, it is called Clintonista.

But it was all a BIG LIE - easily exposed by the Washington Post a month ago.
But we won't see those lying Obama videos on Obamedia 24/7.

Funny story -- growing up my Grandfather always told me I was a) of Scotch descent, and b) a thrid generation american.

Turns out that my grandfather was wrong on both counts -- his grandparents passed through scottland on their way out of ireland to the states. Opps. That's also makes me a 4th generation american on the short side. The other side, the Allens, has been traced all the way back to the civil war (blue side) and we're closing in on the revolution.

Go figure.

What you have used to say that Obama LIED about his own father is really an example of a story handed down from his mother and other family members that was embelished along the way. I am sure that most people have these types of stories within their own families.

You see JoseyJ a lie is when someone actually knows the facts and chooses to CHANGE those facts...sometimes over and over again. Ya know like Hillary's Bosnia Lie. Now thats a WHOPPER.

If you read what he said, it was that kennedy supported a bill that provided for the scholarship program which brought his Dad to study at Harvard. Without the scholarship, he would not have come to the US and met his mom.

At least he's not dlaiming lamely that he was named after Edmund Hilary who did not even climb Everest until after Hillary was born so it was unlikely her parents would have known who he was when they named her.

Everyone, Clinton supporters and Obama supporters alike, we need to start setting the example for our leaders apparently. I admit, I am an Obama supporter, but at this point, I'm so pissed off at the Democrats in general that I just want this craziness to end. If Clinton manages to become the nominee, I will be bitter and I won't like it because I don't like her or her methods or the people she surrounds herself with, but I will vote for her. Not only that, I will argue with everyone I can between now and November that a vote for McCain is a vote for higher gas prices, the death of decent health care, the burial of public education, war, more social horrors coming from supreme court decisions and on and on.

If we're serious about wanting to beat Republicans, we need to suck it up and stop the attacks on each other and focus on John McCain. Who is being served by any of this? The MSM we blame for so much has only to look at the comments on all blogs across the country to see that though we say we don't want them to talk about non-issues, it's all we're talking about ourselves.

I understand what you are saying, but I can NEVER vote for Hillary Clinton, even if she were to be the nominee. I am serious about beating the Republicans, but I'm even more serious about rejecting "politics as usual."

I know it sounds naive but I really had hoped that this would be a different kind of campaign. Clinton has turned it into a farce and what's worse, there is no way she can win this cleanly. It is the way she has chosen conduct herself that has turned me off completely. She has shown herself to care more about her own selfish interests than that of the Democratic party or this nation. She knows she cannot win this nomination cleanly. She knows she cannot win this nomination without splitting the party, yet she persists. I will not reward her with my vote.

For a regular watcher of Bill OReally?, she must've been par for the course. Kowtowing to the right and eventually giving in to Bill on the payroll tax and waffling on rescinding the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy few is not exactly what a Democrat is looking for, unfortunately. But "God bless" the rich!

The fact is, she ran for the wrong party. If she'd run as a Republican, the there would be two quality, intelligent candidates in the General. As it stands now, it will be Barack and Grumps.

Most disturbing to me is the fact that Senator Obama did not remove his children from the Trinity Church so they would not be exposed to the toxic sermons of Pastor Wright. I do not see how the Super Delegates can overlook this outrageous lack of judgment. Why would anyone vote for a man who did not protect his children from this hateful diatribe. The children had no choice....their parents, Barack and Michelle, brought them to this church. They were too young to leave. Since they look up to their parents...they probably assumed that their parents agreed with Pastor Wright.

He did not protect his children! Why should I believe that he would protect my children if he becomes president?

And Bill exposing the entire nation to distraction with a gridlocked administration so much so that we did not take actions against bin laden.

More huffing and puffing on the post. Why not just let the voters decide. These "super-delegates" who are supposedly against the system are the system. All they are doing is jockying for positions of power in the next administration. They are treating this process like a horse race and all they are doing is betting on the favorite. They are all part of the Washington establishment, and that includes both Clinton and Obama.
This is a race where the most qualified candidates were knocked out of the race based on trace votes in two small states. As for myself, I am going to vote for Nader, or if we are really lucky and this thing goes to the convention and fails to get a first vote, then the man who should have been president for the past eight years Al Gore.

Voters are deciding however at the beginning of the process Clinton had many many super delegates in her coner without ever hearing from a single voter then we moved into the election and Clinton strongly urged the delegates telling them they could vote for whomever they wanted.

Fast forward , now with Obama having to deal with msm drummed up issues and the msm is touting PA as a blowout when it was always a Clinton stronghold she has found something that is working, lying to the less educated voters about bring back jobs that her husband shipped away.

Bottom line is she pushed hard for the supers to do exactly what they are now doing so she cannot call them all judas... it's called reaping what you sow.

As for your Nader vote, I hope that each time you hear of a military death in iraq you remember your vote as a trace voter. It might be good to tell the families of these military personal that you feel their pain and that is why you picked Nader and your beacon of hope.

if the race is "shredding the party" (nonsense, pro-Obama talking point) - it's the fault of party bigwigs like Kirk and Andrew who designed a dumb system that allocates delegate numbers in an absurd fashion - these horses' behinds couldn't figure that out beforehand, and now they're wringing their hands over the results; typical democratic party logic (of which these guys were the heads) - it's certainly not Clinton's fault that many of the most important states don't come until later - it's been pointed out if the democrats had a system closer to the Republicans HILLARY would probably be ahead. Plus much of Obama's strengh comes from caucus (read bogus) results, which are the result of good organization more than anything else - they should be done away with, they are a cheap and inauthentic substitution for real voting.

And one more thing - NEITHER OBAMA OR CLINTON WILL HAVE THE REQUIRED NUMBERS FOR NOMINATION! - so it's anybody's ballgame - it's hard to break through the Obama propaganda which the press has swallowed whole, but the number is the number - Lincoln didn't get it until the third ballot. You reap what you sew - these democratic party heads devised a stupid system - now let the voters be heard - let the party leader idiots go away to some deserted island somewhere and let the voters figure it out.

That stupid system was good enough for Clinton when she thought she would be awarded the nomination by Super Tuesday and lavishly spent all of her money accordingly. She would not have had the required numbers for nomination either but expected to have a lead and everyone else to drop out so she could move forward to campaign for the general. Apparently the rules and prevailing wisdom only apply when they are in her favor.

The press propaganda was insisting that this race is close. It hasn't been close for a long time.

Despite what you think and what the Clintons are spinning to their supporter the superdelgates still consider the primary race A DELEGATE RACE.

You do realize that 56% of superdelegates are members of the DNC....Do you eally expect them to them OVERTURN their own rules?????????
