Before Jeremiah "Obama's Pastor" Wright spews even more nonsense, and quotes even more ambassadors, we want to shed some light on the brilliant gems uttered by some of McCain's own spiritual advisers, Pastor John Hagee and Reverend Rod Parsley. When Hagee endorsed McCain, because he is a man of principle, McCain said he was "very honored by Pastor John Hagee's endorsement." Reverend Parsley calls McCain a "strong, true, consistent conservative" and McCain calls Parsley "a spiritual adviser." Because the liberal media refuses to give any credit to McCain, it is up to us to be fair and balanced. So here are the top 10 Memorable Quotes said by McCain's religious advisers:

1. "Do you know the difference between a woman with PMS and a snarling Doberman pinscher? The answer is lipstick. Do you know the difference between a terrorist and a woman with PMS? You can negotiate with a terrorist."

They are all hate-filled angry people. Wright was cut from the same cloth of a different color. That any politician would align with any of these people is really OUTRAGEOUS.

Beyond Hagee's demonizing of Catholics and Catholicism, pastor Hagee appears radically anti-American to the extent that he hopes and expects, as evidenced by a 2006 Hagee appearance on WHYY's "Fresh Air" radio show and also in Hagee's 2006 best-seller "Jerusalem Countdown", that God will incinerate most Americans now living - with a nuclear strike on America's coastal regions. In 2006 Presidential hopeful John McCain appeared to hold a similar view on possible outcomes of a US war with Iran.

GW Bush has killed over a half million people talking to Hagee's God.
Obama has killed no one listening to Wright's God.

Stop McCain/ Hagee march into Iran.

Why McCain/ Hagee must be stopped.

Gidon Remba,

"As they rose to their feet time and again, whistling and applauding in a manic frenzy, I could only wince thinking of another speech Hagee had recently given in Washington of which the AIPAC crowd was apparently unaware. On July 19, 2006, at a Christians United for Israel inaugural event, attended by GOP Party chief Ken Mehlman and Republican Senators Sam Brownback, Rick Santorum, Kay Bailey-Hutchinson and John Cronyn, featuring recorded greetings from President George W. Bush, Hagee declared: "The United States must join Israel in a pre-emptive military strike against Iran to fulfill God"s plan for both Israel and the West a biblically prophesied end-time confrontation with Iran, which will lead to the Rapture, Tribulationand [the] Second Coming of Christ"

McCain/Hagee connection cannot be swept aside. Both GW Bush and Osama bin-Laden killed because God ordered them. And now McCain just got a direct phone line to God from Hagee.

BBC"
President George W Bush told Palestinian ministers that God had told him to invade Afghanistan and Iraq - and create a Palestinian State, a new BBC series reveals.
Then recall that, on June 4, 2003, President George W. Bush confided to Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas: "God told me to strike at Al Qaeda and I struck them, and then He instructed me to strike at Saddam, which I did." [Dilip Hiro, Secrets and Lies, p. 1]

"I am driven with a mission from God". God would tell me, "George go and fight these terrorists in Afghanistan". And I did. And then God would tell me "George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq". And I did. And now, again, I feel God"s words coming to me, "Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East". And, by God, I"m gonna do it.

The McCain/Hagee connection is clearly the most dangerous for living beings on hear on earth.

Our forefathers were the ones that put the seperation of church and state in the Constitution. when the Constitution was written this country was ruled by King James and the british church. Seperation of church and state in the constitution saying seperation of church and state only means that the country will no longer be run by the church of england.

Wrong. Try reading up on the founders and article 6 of the constitution. Their opposition to religion in government came from real world experiences in Europe. The founders were products of the Enlightenment, or The Age of Reason. They were mostly deists that believed God created eveything, but did not act in our personal lives.

I realize that the facts certainly aren't going to get in the way of the anti-Bush and anti-McCain screeds but just for the hell of it, just for the record, before you jump right back to it... here are the simple truths.

Senator McCain's personal pastor: Dan Yeary, of North Phoenix Baptist Church

President Bush's personal pastor: Rev. Luis Leon of St. John's Episcopal Church

I know it's kind of boring stuff but sometimes that's just the way it goes.
Well... except for Obama maybe.

Redrover666, I appreciate the information. However, the point in bringing all this up is not to have a 'gotcha' moment with Sen. McCain. The point behind this article and most of the posts below is to point out the media's hypocrisy. Sen. McCain sought out these endorsements. He claimed he was "honored" by these endorsements. All I want to know is why the media insists on associating Rev. Wright with Obama, insinuating that Obama shares Rev. Wright's views, and holding the Senator accountable for what Rev. Wright says? Can I get, on the record, yes or no, form you, Redrover666, in response to my post here, whether or not you think it is fair to hold Sen. Obama accountable for Rev. Wright's statements or conflate the ideas of Rev. Wright with those of Sen. Obama. Yes or no. Very simple. Please answer.

You know something ohiodem250, you're alright.

I like the way you go about getting everybody "on the record".
I don't agree much with your political views but at least you've got style and appear to listen to those with whom you disagree.

Character and integrity seems to be in short supply here. Peace brother.

Yes, absolutely.

If Obama is going to be my president then he'd better be a good enough judge of character to notice over a twenty year period of close association, that his spiritual adviser is a raving bigot and anti-American wingnut.

You can forgive a man for misjudging an acquaintance but it stretches credibility accept that Obama misjudged his mentor.

The fact is, very few came here to debate the hypocrisies of the media. They came to vilify McCain. I don't really give a crap about McCain or Obama or Hillary.

I will tell you quite frankly, I was an Obama supporter, donated twice and voted for him in the primary. When the Wright issue came up I was appalled and signed in to the Obama blog at his site to express my anger that the idiot said those things and that Obama ought to run the bastard down with his SUV.

I was called a troll and excoriated, as were others who came for the same reason.

Obama's supporters are in many respects, their own worst enemies.

Irrespective of any religious context, there are some serious US foreign policy and intelligence issues that should be considered against the backdrop of Wrightism. When a specific foreign policy is adopted by the US often times it is time sensitive and usually designed for a highly specialized purpose. Any veteran of foreign policy will tell you that it is understood before the first step of implementation is ever taken, that a certain number of potentially negative consequences are likely to result. In the foreign policy and intel world this is called blow back. This is a common term related to foreign policy. This is precisely what happened, in a number of modern day cases such as Iran (overthrow of the Shaw) in the late 70's, Panama, Grenada, Nicaragua and others. Wright calls the negative results of our policies chickens coming home to roost. Admiral Stansfield Turner remarked of our efforts to support the Afghanis against the Russians, we had no idea at that time they (this includes Obama) would be using the Stingers missiles against us later. Whatever you call it, this kind of thing happens with disturbing regularity and everyone in the business knows it. Why was there so much fake outrage from the MSM???

What is more likely truth? That our policies brought a backlash that culminated in 9/11, or that God punished America for gays? That the government used harsh methods on minorities, or that God sent Katrina to New Orleans for a gay parade? I'm not defending Wright, but perspective is needed. For all that is wrong with Wright, his flock was probably getting more truth than the other guys listed here. Scream and rant all you want, the truth will win in the end.

Parsley and Hagee - Jesus taught love, tolerance and compassion. I don't know where you bozos get your information about Christ's teachings but it sure as Hell isn't from Him. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when your Judgment is at hand. St. Peter won't even let you two on the steps much less in the door. Fundamentalism is a form of mental illness - an unwillingness to think for one's self and let other MEN tell you how to live as if they have exclusive abilities to interpret Christ's teachings. That's against free will and free will is, by your own traditions, a gift from God. You two are shining examples of that. The Bible was written and complied, very selectively I might add, BY MEN. It was designed to obscure some of the more "radical" teachings of Christ so that MEN COULD BETTER CONTROL OTHER MEN WITH FEAR AND GUILT. There are many more gospels than included by the Council of Nicea in the New Testament, some even saying Jesus was homosexual. You are truly ignorant of the history of your own religion. I am not sure what you are, but you aren't Christians as in trying live by Christ's good examples. The way you practice, Jesus would have pissed on the lepers instead of healing them. Seek psychological help before you destroy and distort anymore innocent lives.

Thanks for proving my point about free will and stupidity, Ray. Leviticus is where you base your hatred would be my guess. Jesus didn't write Leviticus, nor did God, but a man. The same goes for Romans and John if those are your fall back positions (which I doubt a man clearly as stupid as yourself can formulate a fall back).

NOT ONCE DID JESUS CONDEMN HOMOSEXUALS AND THERE IS PLENTY OF EVIDENCE HE MAY HAVE EVEN APPROVED. After all, what part of discrimination is NOT love, tolerance or compassion can't you understand, you raging homophobe? Oh, that would be ALL OF IT, Closet Case. Pssst . . . and just so you know, I like to kiss girls too but you know what business is it of mine if my neighbor likes to kiss the same sex?

None. Zero. Zilch.
And it remains none of my business (or yours) as long as children or force are not involved.
Period.
End of story.

I now return to you to your narrow, hate filled, pathetic little life of being a tool of fascists and false Christian charlatans.

No, Ray. People like you are the abomination. There is no love for others in your heart, only hatred of the different. I'll say this ONCE - It makes NO DAMN DIFFERENCE WHO ANYONE SLEEPS WITH AS LONG AS IT ISN'T CHILDREN. Got that, half-wit? None. I promise you NO ONE CARES BUT THE HATEFUL. That's one of the parts of the Bible written BY MEN, you moron, and selected BY MEN as a CONTROL DEVICE USING FEAR AND HATRED. Those words NEVER came out of Jesus' mouth. Thanks for showing you are also a fake Christian and pillar of evil, you ignorant bastard. "You are truly ignorant of the history of your own religion. I am not sure what you are, but you aren't Christians as in trying live by Christ's good examples. The way you practice, Jesus would have pissed on the lepers instead of healing them. Seek psychological help before you destroy and distort anymore innocent lives." This statement applies to YOU too. Now roll over and kiss Ken goodnight, closet case.
