ORLANDO, Fla. — Miley Cyrus returned to the stage for a concert in Orlando, Fla., but did not say anything about the recent controversy over her Vanity Fair portrait.

The 15-year-old star of Hannah Montana performed several songs at the Saturday concert that will be included in the Disney Channel Games series on the Disney Channel.

Cyrus didn't attend Friday's red-carpet party for the games at Disney's Epcot Center, where she would have faced questions from the media.

Cyrus has said she was embarrassed by the photo, which shows her wrapped in a sheet with her back exposed.

She spotted a sign in the crowd Saturday that said "Miley I'm praying for you," and she responded: "I can't be more appreciative of that."

Saturday's concert also featured performances by the Jonas Brothers and the Cheetah Girls.

Oh gawd. Those holding the signs are probably those abstinence-only-until-marriage chicks who have oral and anal sex in their teens, but that's ok because they are still virgins. Clinton (wag the finger)-Bush (no accountability) era babies.

These (warning: codeword alert!) suburban teenagers and their detached, over medicated, absent parents are more annoying than even the most messed up "urban" girls that we blame for all of society's ills.

This whole manufactured scandal is just Miley and her parents prepping for a post-Hannah Montana career. They know this teenie bop thing won't last forever, and they're planning for the future -- of course, now a days, the future for sex pot actresses start at 15 -- can never be too old to 20 somethings all the way to old folks leering at that tight bod with washboard tummy.

This whole manufactured reality that we call America, once exposed for what it is, is so disgusting.

Call me cynical (which you will), but which would you rather be -- the idealist who falls for this crap all the time so that your brain turns to mush, or the realists who goes mad because society has gone mad?

Wait, don't answer that...

That's such a PR ploy. Whenever certain celebrities get criticized for doing something bad, they often publically thank their fans "for their support." It's a way to garner sympathy while still staying in the public eye.
Laura Schlessinger did that after nude photos of her circulated on the internet.
Of course, Laura is a (ugh) grown woman.

Miley, stay away from Mardi Gras. They will ask you to take your shirt off again. Horrors.

There is no way she could have done those photos without her agents and/or parents approval. Their plausable denial is just CYA. They are selling a product, both agent and parent. What great family values.
