Politico:

Matt Seyfang points out to me that, after Tuesday, we'll pass a milestone: There will be more superdelegates than pledged delegates left to fight over.

There are currently 404 pledged delegates left to be allocated; that number will be down to 217 Wednesday. By comparison, there are roughly 275 unpledged delegates (automatic and add-ons) still up for grabs.

The Clintons are the most responsible people (besided the perpetrators) for the 911 attacks on the World Trade Center

George Bush (as much as I hate hime) was only in office 9 months before the terrorist struck the United States Of America.

On February 26, 1993terrorists attacked the World Trade Center during the Clinton administration. . Bill Clinton never visited the World Trade Center sight after

On March 8, 1995, two U.S. diplomats are killed in Karachi, Pakistan. Bill Clinton had no response to the attacks.

On June 25, 1996 a fuel truck explodes outside the United States military's Khobar Towers building, killing 19 military personnel and wounding 515.

On November 12, 1997 four U.S. businessmen are killed in Karachi, Pakistan by members of the Islamic Revolutionary Council. President Clinton had no response to the attacks.

On August 7, 1998, in near simultaneous explosions at U.S. Embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, Al Qaeda terrorists kill 291 and wound 5,000 in Kenya and kill 10 and wound 77 in Tanzania .

On December 4, 1998, Bill Clinton received a Presidential Daily Briefing entitled, "Bin Laden Preparing to Hijack US Aircraft and Other Attacks".
This was almost 3 years before the 9-11 attacks.

On October 12, 2000 The U.S.S. Cole, a destroyer in the United States Navy, is rammed by a boat full of explosives in the harbor of Aden, Yemen. 17 sailors are killed and 39 more are injured.

Interesting data; and I have no argument with it.

My question is: What's your point ???

My point is that at 3AM when Osama Bin Laden was attacking the USA and plotting 911 the Clintons were snoring. (well she was he was in the other room with an intern)

There is much to know and much more that we may never know.

The one thing that I do know is that the Clintons are corporatists.

The Muslim radicals hate us, not "because of our freedoms" but

because of MIC/Big Oil/fascist actions, orchestrated by the leader

of our corporatist shadow government, GHWB and his buddies,

the Likudists, Saudi Royals, the Pakistani ISI and Rupert Murdoch.
02:54 PM on 05/05/2008
AMEN. CLINTON IS NEVER ASSIGNED ANY RESPONSIBILTY FOR THAT. HE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET BIN LADEN AND DIDN'T.

I'M NOT A BUSH FAN EITHER AND ON MARCH 2001 TOM DASCHLE ANOUNCED THAT THE NATION WAS IN A RECESSION. BUSH HAD BEEN IN OFFICE LESS THAN 60 DAYS. THE CLINTON WANT TO CLAIM THAT IT WAS ALL GOOD WHEN THEY WERE IN. IT WAS NOT.

"Hillary will pander to get votes"

62% say that's true on latest CBS/NYT poll
40% say that about Obama. 40% about McCain

Mirrors the "credibility gap" that has been present for months.

And she claims "polls show I am more electable??"

GOP will "obliterate" her. That's why the GOPs are voting against Obama and for Hillary wherever they can cross over.
12:45 PM on 05/05/2008
This article reports Republicans are voting for Hillary in the Indiana primary.
http://www.boston.com/news/politics/politicalintelligence/2008/05/clinton_has_sma.html

Republicans who will vote for McCain in the fall.

Part of Hillary's support is from Republicans who want to interfere in the process.

Updated today: Hillary Clinton's campaign today acknowledged plans to try to win seating of the disputed Michigan and Florida delegations to the Democratic Nation Convention at a meeting of the party's Rules and Bylaws Committee on May 31.

This is how she plans to steal the nomination, half of this committee backs her........if those votes are counted or if those delegates are seated unfairly then I guess we all need to reconsider the importance of following the rules or voting. Lets disenfranchise the rest of the country and their abidance of the rules to benefit the Clintons. Sound fair to anyone besides Clinton????????
12:43 PM on 05/05/2008
How is this fair to the voters who stayed home in Michigan and Florida because they were told the primary would not count?

How is this fair to the voters in Michigan where Obama was not on the ballot?

This is a travesty. If Hillary succeeds I am done with the Democratic party forever. What a disorganized mess!

Hello, Greens!
12:49 PM on 05/05/2008
agreed, but hello progressive party - with Obama's ability to raise money and with his grassroots support - it would make such a party politically viable - unlike the green party ( to my disappointment over the years)
01:09 PM on 05/05/2008
i think flordia should be seated as Obama was on the ballot, Michigan should not unless they are divided equally, i am for neither candiate but if they do not let those people be heard in Flordia and Michigan, they will not come out and vote for neither one of them in the fall and I cannot blame them. They should re-vote and be counted!!!!
Whats wrong with you Democrats dont count people votes because of some rules!!!
This is America!!!!
01:10 PM on 05/05/2008
That is not stealing the dominations, I have family in florida and they vote should be counted or they should have a revote in both states, whey do you not want for all people of all color to vote. Would it be fair to ask for those same people vote in November!!!!!
03:17 PM on 05/05/2008
Try again. So far you are repeating an argument worth of a three year old who did not hit the ball and wants a do-over.

I was under the impression that there are 796 Super Delegates total. All of the MSM are reporting that approx. 508 have cast their vote/support to either candidate. this leaves 288 remaining up for grabs, at present.

Hillary needs approx. 266 vs. Obama's 81 Super Delegates in addition to the Pledged Delegates (50/50) of the remaining states to clinch the Nomination.

The way I see it, Obama needs 16 - 20 Super Delegates, each week, to come his way in order to have this wrapped-up by June 1st. (16) a week won't leave enough for Clinton to get to 2025, and (20) gets Obama to 2025.

. . . . . Let the final lap begin . . . . man I hope (symbolic euthanasia) won't be necessary for the "filly" at the conclusion of this race also. . . . .if not the filly. . . . then the DNC will be required to be put out of its misery.

Update 5/9:

There are 796 Super Delegates total. The MSM is reporting that approx. 532 have cast their vote/support to either candidate. this leaves 264 remaining up for grabs.

Hillary needs approx. 221 vs. Obama's 64 - Super Delegates in addition to the Pledged Delegates (approx. 50/50 split) of the remaining states to clinch the Nomination.

Obama only needs 44 more Super Delegates, against Hillary’s 201 to deplete Super Delegates for the other. The light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter!

The nomination is Barack's despite the best efforts of the DLC, MSM and GOP!

Most of the superD's remember Chicago 1968 and they know we are watching.

I had just returned from Vietnam and along with millions of others was turned

away from party politics by this establishment betrayal of the people. I'd rather

loose the general to McCain and let the people see how crooked politics has

become, than have the DLC treat our liberal values as the neocons did to the

principles of the true conservatives. Populism is the best cure for corporatism.

is and then realize that populism is the best cure for the cancer of corporatism.

Are you Kidding Me!! This Guy just figured that out! No way this dude should be a journalist.
Also this morning on the TODAY SHOW, Hillary Clinton mentioned that she has the the most popular votes and that's a stronger criteria (than who leads the pledged delegate count) that Superdelagates should consider when making their decision. I was hoping that Meridith Viera would have asked Hillary if when the contest started, had she made known her preference for popular votes over pledged delegates to the DNC and what efforts were taken to let voters know which of the two was more important.
Or this only became relevant when she started losing (remember 11 straight).

Is she ahead in the popular vote if you factor in the Republican voters who want to throw the nomination to her?
01:16 PM on 05/05/2008
thats what they did for Obama when anyone could vote in these early primarys. Do you think all those states that voted for him is going to vote for him in November!!!! no he has not won a democratic primary with only democratics voting be real!!!!! if if depends on those who voted for him in the red states he want be president!!!

Did she really?

Is there not ONE eithical journalist out there who has the guts to call her on that math?

How pathetic. No wonder people think a: shes leading a non existant populat vote and b: she still has a chance.

The media are all total pussies who can virtually lynch the black man all day long but cannot point out loopy math and lies when Clinton lies to their face.

Obama supporters frequently refer to the continued march toward the politically inexperienced senator by the superdelegates.

After tomorrow, those allegiances, as with an ever increasing number of the general public, may call into question, the stamina of the cinderella candidate.

here's my prediction:

n.c. obama wins by 8% and gets approx 62 delegates
hillary gets approx 53

indiana hillary wins by 6% hillary gets 38
obama gets 34

total obama 96
hillary 91

last week i think obama got 8 supers, hillary 4. she needed 16 just to stay even with obama.
isn't going to happen hillary supporters. today obama so far got one super, hillary none. she has moved the goal posts so far back, they're off the field and in the parking lot. i think the supers will let this play out until the first week in june, endorse obama and move on to mcsain.
