In a strongly worded statement PETA (People for Ethically-challenged Thieving Actresses) angrily denounced the negative smear tactics being hurled at Lindsay Lohan over recent accusations that she fleeced a fur belonging to a fellow reveler while attending a private party in Manhattan.

The PETA representative was quite adamant and stated categorically, "Lindsey did not steal the stole".

Ms. Lohan"s legal representative was equally outraged. "No way she made off with the mink. Lindsey"s a good girl"

Ms. Lohan, when contacted by this reporter denied any wrongdoing, although she did admit to "borrowing" other people"s boyfriends, without permission, on occasion. "But I always return them", she added.

Isn't there a place where, out of concern for the welfare of the general public, they put people like Lohan to sleep? No - well there should be.

Why on Earth would you kill a mink for fur?

If you live in a modern society there is absolutely NO reason to wear fur. NONE! I understand the Eskimos, but this is barbaric. I don't see much difference between this woman and michael vick.

Because it is warm.

Welcome to America the land of the free. Well for now anyway, but right wing and left wing pundits are working to change that. I have never know why in the land of the free there remains factions of people who think their opinion should be law and others should abide by it.

If you people put half the effort into ending world hunger that you do into protecting animals that are only good for fur or food then there would be no world hunger.

Just like vegetables are for eating so are cows. Just like cotton and hemp are for clothing so is leather and fur.

Plants are living things and in my mind no different than animals. The only difference is plants are the most defenseless of the two. Skinning and curing fur is way less harm full to the environment. Modern materials like Fleece while warm are made from oil. So spare me the they are living creatures and should be protected. Fur is no more murder than picking cabbages. The hypocrisy of the animal rights advocates is beyond appalling. Don"t get me wrong I"m against cruelty to animals, but there comes a point at which you people go to far. Telling others what to eat and wear is that point. It is ok to kill plants but animals are different, please spare me the puppy dog BS.

As for this is there only 1 blond mink coat in the world????

this is certainly not the first time Lindsay has been accused of stealing valuables

I believe this is the 3rd story I have heard along these lines, at least 2 with photo evidence and witnesses
backing up the claims of the victims.

heckuva job Dina Lohan!

Um well Lindsay is a junkie and hard up for cash. It's her fault for leaving something valuable next to Lindsay.

Didn't she leave a party wearing someone else's pant once during her big partyin' days last summer? Is she once again too messed up to keep track of her own belongings?

I heard the coat owner is trying to get $100k for the mix up (the coat was returned to her). Puhleeez.

Oh yea they are dead. They stick a electric probe down their mouth and electrocute them. Wouldn't wan to mess up that fur now would we. I'd suggest some research before you go spouting off.

Real fur doesn't hurt animals they are dead when they skin them. You ever try to skin a live mink? It would completely mess up the fur.

Whack jobs are ugly too... even without fur.

Real leather hurts cows. Real meat hurts animals. Real silk hurts the silkworms that are enslaved to weave. Real vegetables hurt the bugs that COULD be eating them, but instead, YOU are eating THEIR vegetables.

What's your point?

Are you really comparing an animal being tortured for its fur to a bug that munches on leaves for nourishment? I don't think that my eating asparagus is going to ruin the lives of your bugs.

The subject was fur. And you're right...whack jobs are ugly. Sharon Stone comes to mind.
She's a whack job AND she wears fur, which means that she's ugly even without the fur.

Yes, I also need a fur coat just as much as I need food in my stomach. A very apt comparison.
