Keith Olbermann

Keith Olbermann offered another long diatribe against the Clinton campaign last night (though nothing compared to his Special Comment in March). Olbermann recited an exhaustive list of statements from Clinton and her supporters about which states should count, and why.

Watch the goal posts move, state by state:

They haven't changed their tactics in 30 laborous years of destroying everything around them to get that crown. Republicans reportedly where in great numbers voting for Hillary today, as they did in PA, TX, OH. Does this show the Superdelegates she doesn't have the vote's come NOVEMBER? Of course. How stupid can she think everyone around her is stupid? That's elitism, arrogant, grandiose, schizophrenic.

Ahh, saw this last night. Great video, very truthful. The Clinton camps needs to see how ridiculous they look with their constantly-changing metrics. That being said...sometimes, you Clinton supporters disapoint me. Like today. Essentially, this is what's going on:

"Keith is biased towards Obama! He hates Hillary! He's really mean!"
"But what about what he said? Are you going to actually, you know, refute it?"
"....he's really mean!"

Come on guys.

I want to have your kids Keith, you rock.

I stopped watching you the day you gave that 'special comment' about Hillary, looking at the camera, pointing your finger and saying......"Sen. Clinton, you must denounce G. Ferraro in the strongest of terms." Who the hell does he think he is? He gave Sen Obama a free pass on his show and didn't question how Obama could have not heard any of the controversial comments made by his Rev. Wright in 20 years sitting in the pews of his church and having him as a mentor.
From KO since that special comment he has done nothing but bash Hillary. Sorry, KO.........from what I have read on comments on HuffPost and in conversations with Hillary supporters....you have lost them in your audience. No doubt, you are so arrogant that you don't care, but even O'Reilly gave Hillary a more "fair and balanced" treatment than you have. I don't need your biased opinions.

Patmancando, are you confusing facts with bias? I've watched Keith for a couple of years now and in the beginning of this race he was clearly in Clinton's camp. His view of her changed along with mine and others, when her campaign became very negative and divisive.

I don't recall the Rev. Wright ever being a part of Obama's campaign team. On the other hand, what Ferraro said DID represent Rodham to the world. She was prominent in her campaign and she was quite deliberately making issues of non-issues.

His finger wagging was doing Rodham a favor. You should thank him for it.

That's when I stopped watching Olbermann too! A few yrs. ago I compared him to Edward R. Murrow....Mr. Murrow, wherever you are...please forgive me for slandering you!

Funny. My response when KO gave that special comment was "OH! I hope she takes his advice! Imagine what she could do if she got rid of Mark Penn and the wrong-thinking staffers who think that you can counteract hope with cynicism!" But, too bad. She missed her chance to inspire.

If I had been her adviser I would have told her to make her own speech (after the brilliant one that Obama did on racism)... she could have passionately and legitimately discussed feminism and sexism in our society and how that has affected her AS A WOMAN and what feminism means in 2008. But instead this candidate chose to listen to advisers who were telling her to fan the Rev Wright story, rather than create her own narrative. She's earned her loss... it WAS hers to lose. I'm a die-hard liberal feminist but she lost me some time ago with her lack of vision and her lack of knowledge about who the Democrats are. We are party loyalists but we are not blindly loyal. And this is NOT Clinton bashing. It's my informed opinion... call it biased if you will but then in all fairness you can call ANY opinion biased.

Was having a bad work day, got home in a bad mood. Now, I can't stop laughing. Thanks Keith. Now, I wonder if there is a way of obtaining grant money to study this unique voter classification. Kind of an anthropology experiment.

Surprise surprise. Another MSM tool and Hillary hater bashes Hillary. Well, I’m shocked.

If ever I want the current line of attack on Hillary, I know I just have to tune into Keith’s show (which I’ve stopped doing).

He was more fun to watch when he went after king george jr. But I cannot stand to watch him twist and contort everything Hillary does or says into some horrible event. Now I just watch The Family Guy, it is much more entertaining.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 06:52 PM on 05/06/2008

Just exactly how is pointing out her ever changing meteric attacking her? It would be different if she hasn't done it.

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 07:00 PM on 05/06/2008

You don't like what he has to say and can't refute it so you just rant and rave (of course making a fool of yourself in the process). It was funny BECAUSE what he said was TRUE. Deal with it. Hillary will say anything to get elected - no matter how contradictory. No wonder her supporters say they will vote for McCain, he's cut from the same cloth!

Thromulese,

All the statements Keith quoted as coming from the Clinton campaign did in fact come from the campaign.

What Clinton supporters should ask themselves is "do I know what I am supporting?" At the beginning of this campaign, she was the experienced candidate with Washington knowledge and know-how. Yesterday, I heard her in her fake tone saying "those people in washington don't know what you are going through. You have to send someone to Washington who will fight for you!" She has changed her message so much that she probably is not altogether sure about what her position is on anything.

KO is a sexist. Chris Matthews is a Hillary bash-er, but he loves women, who even groped Ellen when he got a chance........he's just a buffoon. David Schuster is vindictive, another Hillary bash-er, but he holds Hillary responsible for his two week suspension for saying "the Clintons are pimping their daughter.

Ya know,

perhaps.. . .

Olbermann criticizes Hillary because she's the weaker candidate and she says dumb things. That's not bashing, that's honesty.

A majority of voters (no matter how you count it) agree with him.

A lovely summation, Keith, and more or less what we see here posted by the RSR (Republican Shills for Rodham) - those, and a few easily parried lies - like Obama can only win caucus states ... despite the fact that he's actually won more primary states than Rodham.

It just goes to show that, EVERYTHING IN THE PARTY RULES IS OK - when you're the frontrunner with the highest name recognition, ahead in all the polls by double digits and essentially running like an incumbent on your husbands record.

But NOTHING is OK when you've been losing the most states, the most popular votes and the most pledged delegates since day one, because the Democratic party faithful have spoken, and they prefer another candidate.

The tragedy is, no matter what the results today, Rodham will "interpret" the data to show that she can still "win" and should not drop out.

By May 21st however, she'll have nowhere left to hide, and somebody in her campaign, perhaps her husband, will have to tug on the back of her pants suit and tell her it's time to give it up.

Hillary claims to have 35 years of experience. What "experience" did she have at 25 years old that would qualify her to be President?? She's 60 now, so 35 years of experience would make her 25! And we're supposed to count her years of "experience" as the First Lady of Arkansas and First Lady of the U.S. as "experience" to be President? That's ridiculous!! She lied about Bosnia, NAFTA, Ireland, Peter Paul, and many other things, we can't trust her! She is not ethical enough to be President!

Love ya', Keith, keep telling the truth!!!

You are confused, which is probably why you support Mrs. Clinton. There is nothing I want more than a woman prez but NOT this woman-I finally understand why the Repugs have hated them so much-I never could understand it-it is because they are so like them but have rejected them. They saw their doors being opened by being Dems but are Repugs at heart-remember NAFTA. I do believe you need to read more and with a critical eye.

haha...this is so full of irony that I personally laughed out loud when I read it. Hey kettle...your black too. If the Clinton camp is using the 3rd grade ideology of "I'm rubber and you are glue" mentality, this is going to be nothing short of bad episode of "Days of Our Lives".

In 2004 the general public voted Bush back into office. I was dismayed then and I am dismayed now. To all those HRC supports, be careful what you wish for or soon you will be regretting your choices as we try to obliterate another country in the Middle East.

Sleazeball attacks? The contention that highlighting the consistently moving goalposts of the Clinton campaign (Note: yet another new one this morning, the delegate threshold should now include Florida and Michigan, despite no decision on how to address the issue - and odd that suddenly, the time to address the magic number is the morning of a primary) is somehow an iteration of "dirty politics," is simply ridiculous.

Before calling this a "sleazeball attack," or for that matter, even calling it an attack, why not reflect on whether everything said in the piece has been officially uttered by Senator Clinton or one of her campaign staff. There was simply no twisting of words or taking them out of context, just a comparison of consistently contradictory statements, intended to suit and shape the desired conventional wisdom of the particular day.

Yeah, SlappHappy!!! Many of us are having an allergic reaction to the truth, and rightly so! The truth is so damn annoying because we actually have to use our brains.

Keith should be telling us that Obama is a Black Man; and that Whites won't vote for Obama, because he is a Black man; that Obama is naive because "he wants to attack Pakistan"; and that Obama is an elitist because he orders orange juice, asked about growing arugala, looks like he should be on the cover of GQ, and "speaks so good"; and that Obama is unpatriotic because he doesn't wear a flagpin; and that Obama can't win in November because people can't tell the difference between him and Reverend Wright; that Obama is weak because he "can't close the deal"; and that Obama can't win because his wife said that she is proud of her country for the first time in her adult life; and that Obama is a terrorist because he served on the board of a charity with a man who engaged in domestic terrorism 40 years ago; and that Obama is a Muslim because of his middle name: Hussein, Hussein, Hussein! He should be telling us that Obama once used drugs; and that Obama rhymes with Osama.

Keith Olbermann should be focusing on all of those things like the rest of our informative and responsible MSM. How dare that blowhard force the truth down our throats!! DAMN YOU FOR TELLING THE TRUTH, KEITH OLBERMANNNNNNN!!!!!

Your fanatical, obsessive loathing expressed EVERY NIGHT on your show towards Clinton must be taking significant years off of your life.

I can't watch you anymore, Keith, you have turned into a Rabid Dog, like Chris Matthews.

This is not a solicitation for Hillary Clinton - you are just bad for my karma.

Calm down, it's eating you alive.
