Keith Olbermann offered another long diatribe against the Clinton campaign last night (though nothing compared to his Special Comment in March). Olbermann recited an exhaustive list of statements from Clinton and her supporters about which states should count, and why.

take a look at the picture of Keith and check the list of States behind him. I think Iowa might have voted for DEMS once in the last 50 years, the rest are RED STATES. Why do these States even get Delegates to the DEM Convention? Wyoming had 8,900 people show up to vote in their Dem Caucus out of 60,000 Registerd Dems in the State. In Wyoming the DNC gives 1 delegate for every 750 voters, In PA you need 12,500 voters for 1 delegate, why do they call themselves the DEMOCRATIC PARTY? I guess if you live in a RED State that never votes DEMOCRATIC your voice is much louder than a voter in a State like PA.

Much like Bush-speak, the Clintons' statements are only supposed to be remembered for as long as they're advantageous to the Clintons. Once that time is past, everyone is supposed to forget they were ever made and concentrate on the new truth for the day. I'm sure that all politicians do this, but most are willing to give their listeners a little more credit and they're less blatant about it.

I don't think most politicians can do what the Clinton's do. It's not for their lack of desire to do it but it's quite an art bullshiting as much as they do. The general rule is the Clinton's do not care what happens to anyone the day after a vote, just so long as they get the vote on that day. They don't care about your buyers remorse later, they will fins another way to pander to you again later.

I loved it - a reflection of the ever changing goal posts of the Clinton campaign. And I say that it is the media that is allowing her deluded stance.

Olbermann is the only reason to watch MSNBC. I also turned on CNN for five minutes last night to listen to the latest panel of smug media windbags and had to shut it off. My semi boycott continues. :)
