Barack Obama is, by almost every measure and by almost every unmeasurable impression, on the precipice of being able to declare victory and have his declaration be accepted by the media and his party. Hillary Clinton needed to find a way to give superdelegates their "Holy Moly" moment, and she failed. Absent an extraordinary intervening event, the question for Hillary Clinton now is how she ends the race. Obama has made it clear that he will not pressure her. It's her decision.

OBAMA's MARGIN in North Carolina was three times that of Clinton's, even before the margin in Indiana narrowed. He earned more pledged delegates than she did. They're likely to see it as a vindication of their gut feeling that Obama could survive the roughest weeks of his candidacy. There is no evidence that Obama's supporters were any less enthusiastic than they were before -- and that metric, more than anything else, I think, will drive their calculations going forward. The uncommitted superdelegates are inclined to like Obama and dislike Clinton personally; they see more energy on his side than hers; they've given him the benefit of the doubt over and over again.

As is typical with mean, pathetic, dictatorial people, she'll end it with a shrill squawk.

Hillary is like the kid at the birthday party who is still sitting and stuffing herself at the table long after all the others have gone to play.

quote "Not till you pry it from my cold dead hands"
She will scheme, plan, whine, moan, lie, cheat and spin until she gets what she craves, regardless of what it costs her or us. The only thing that will stop her is if the Supers do it.

She won't end it. If you can't accept losing, you have to keep playing, even if nobody wants to play with you any longer.

She will finally admit after all this time that she's a Republican and then beg Insane McCain to be on his ticket. She loves Insane McCain after all. During the past couple of months when she knew she wasn't going to be the nominee she, Bill and some of her staff started praising McCain constantly. Nothing she and her campaign staff does surprises me.

You know, when you have to work this hard for something -- it's just not your time. Move on now and wait until it is your time.

She will end it badly. She feels entitled to the nomination and the Presidency. Even today she said she was the most qualified to be the President. She has gall and will feel no compunction at demanding everything. And I fear she will get away with it. Watch for things that impact her personally as a payoff. Not policy issues or DNC positions, but personal gains. She will not exhibit class in her exit.

Hillary and the Davos crowd need to give Obama his space. When he is President, she may just get to be a Supreme Court Justice, or a Cabinet Secretary. And there is nothing wrong with that. If she gives him space, now.

That train has left the station. She is not qualified for a justice and nobody will ever ask her for a cabinet post which she is not qualified for, either. She had her shot. She blew it. It's over.

In regards to the proposal thrown on the table by the Clinton campaign for Obama to pay off her debts and she would "go away", there is just one hitch in the giddyup.

She just loaned herself $6.4 mil to be paid back with interest, to which I understand is 2.8%. She has just proposed something that will make a get rich quick scheme. QUICK loan myself $6.4 mil and then ask someone else to pay off my debts, which will include the 2.8%.

Lest anybody think Hillary is a dummy, this will prove that not only is she smart as a whip, but a sneaky, scheming individual.

OBAMA - DO NOT FALL FOR THE PROPOSAL. If he would like to pay off all the little people she owes (none of her campaign staff, no sirree, or Penn, etc.) just the little people, I won't have a problem with that. But no to Hillary's self loans and no to the campaign staff and their expenses - i.e. laptops, fancy hotel rooms, lobster dinners, car rentals, air fare, rental of the planes Hillary has used, you get the picture.

Evidently with extreme greed, extortion and blackmail, witness the multiple reports that she's willing to drop out if he'll assume her $20 million or more campaign debts. None of the people touting this have been able to cite a SINGLE instance of where the winning primary candidate has assumed the debts of his/her losing opponent. A true American hero, John Glen, too out personal bank loans (he didn't have the Clinton's substantial wealth to lend himself his own money) and has struggled for years to pay off those debts. All of Obama's funds remaining after HRC is dragged kicking and screaming out of the primary, NEED to go to defeating John McCain.

Add to those facts the fact that her campaign ended up in such deep debt due to her own incompetent management.
