I hate that woman.

You all do realize that they're desperate to give Hillary a way to win, don't you?

Some how I don't think it's *all* about race.

I think it's because they're all so deep in the other's pockets that having a new comer enter the picture and shake things up will blow the lid off of deeply-buried things that we could only *dream* about.

Actually, Nancy Pelosi can't stand Hillary Clinton.

At least that's the vibe I've always gotten.

HRC is like the popular cheerleader girlfriend of the most popular former (graduated) jock in the high school of the Dem party. She got put in the Student Council without really earning it because she moved in the right circles. Nancy Pelosi is the smart, talented girl that is in braces -- the teachers love her, and she's the head of the Student/Teacher Advisory Board by their choice. The two girls hate each other and are secretly putting rotten tuna fish sandwiches in each other's lockers every opportunity.

But here, HRC is losing the student council president race to the freshman that everyone for some reason loves for his basketball skills. Rather than laugh in HRC's face about it, Pelosis is offering fake empathy so avoid getting called out for bias.

Or she's being sarcastic. Either way, she's enjoying every minute of watching Clinton squirm.

Yes the race is alive but to put it in Nascar terms Hillary is 20 laps behind and there is only 2 laps to go. Unless Obama crashes and has to drop out then he is going to win and there isnt much Hillary can do about it.

Am I a GOP troll who is rooting to have McCain pummeled in the general election?

Are you saying that Pelosi is not an attractive woman?

Does finding Pelosi attractive make a person sick?

Someone is sick all right.

Did it ever occur to any of you that michelv might be Pelosi's age?

Even if not, what of it?

She's an attractive woman who's aged gracefully. Maybe not Hollywood gracefully, but gracefully enough.

It is good that she seems to have reversed her opinion. This race is good for now. Both candidates are becoming tough and experienced campaign veterans, while McCain is falling sleep and letting his guard down. The democratic nominee will come out of this primary tough and ready to rumble, and together with the loser, they will pummel a mumbling McCain who will be taken completely off guard.

I guess it would be un-sisterly to lower the boom and pile on this debacle called a campaign. But dagnabit, that's why you are a "LEADER".

boy I dont get these democrats. I do think the race going on is good for Obama he has the money and he can use it to organize and prepare for the general election which is what I think will ultimately give him victory while Mcain is having his dull events young people are going around registering people to vote knocking on doors etc. But this double take by Pelosi is giving me a migrane. I wonder if this is their subliminal way of continuing to encourage voter turnout. If people know Obama is the nominee there would be no point in turning out so they want to encourage that enthusiasm. Thats fine I have no problem with that but this waffling with democratic leaders if frankly getting on my nerves and hitting home fo rme why even though I'm a democrat I really cannot stand democrats.

A fighter who gets a good, long, hard warm up will start the real fight with KO-grade punches. Let the democrats continue their training and warm up to double team on the sluggish, senile, and confused McCain.

Just look at Obama. He lost steam but put in the effort to regain steam. if he is the nominee, that will just make him a better and tougher candidate against McCain.

Message to fluffy democrats: fighters get made by getting bruised and bloodied during training, AKA primaries.

Hey, Carol. I agree they (Dem "leaders") don't seem to know what the hell they want to do. As usual, I think they are confused and conflicted because they see 2 very strong candidates, both of whom are "firsts" and both of whom have large but very opposite constituencies. I think they are hoping events will make decision for them so they don't have to make one and look backroom-ish.
