Clinton staying in the race is not about politics. It's a personal commitment on her part. I admire her for it. And Candy Crowley just reported on pro-Obama CNN that she talked to a lot of super delegates today and only one said Clinton should drop out. The others felt that it is a month to the end of the primaries so just let it play out. Makes sense to me. We have processes in place for a reason. It makes no sense to have a process and then ignore it.

I fully agree with you that the process should be allowed to run its course. But, if you think CNN is pro Obama, you are sadly mistaken.

Agree, it has always been the (C)linton (N)News (N)etwork. Unless one's been sampling a little Crown Royal...in a coma while watching CNN. Blitzer is boorish and definitely a Clinton supporter.

It would behoove Obama that Hillary remains in the contest until at least Oregon results are in. Losing in WV and KY without Hillary in the game would be embarrassing. Might the people in WV and KY learn something from the North Carolinians? Doubtful!

For all intents and purposes...IT IS OVER. Hoping that many of Hillary supporters will stay home during those primaries knowing this.

West Virginia is a probable loss; Oregon and Kentucky could be a wash.

Hillary looks and sounds foolish but what is really a puzzle is how the voters believe anything she says.
We all know that this is over so why would anyone keep giving money to her campagin? I read that the 10 million they said they raised after the PA was misleading as she gave 6.4 million of her own money.
This is just another example of how the Clinton's decieve and lie. Why don't the superdelegates stop treating Hillary like a child that you don't want to upset and tell her it's time to get behind Obama and move on to the general election.

I AM FIRED UP AND READY TO GO LETS'S BUT OBAMA IN THE WHITE HOUSE

After last night, Senator Obama is doing the right thing. He is giving Senator Clinton the time and space to find a graceful exit strategy while focusing on bringing the party together. The time to move the campaign in a positive stance is here. Working with the Superdelegates gives Obama the opportunity to present his programs and start gaining support for them while building stronger ties with the people he needs to count on for the final push to the White House. It also give him time to adjust his campaign to focus exclusively on the fall contest with McCain.

Barack Obama pocketed the support of at least four Democratic convention superdelegates on Wednesday, building on the momentum from a convincing North Carolina primary victory. Rival Hillary Rodham Clinton disclosed she had loaned her strapped campaign an additional $6.4 million in recent weeks.

Listen, Senator Clinton there are no signs of life left in your campaign! I wonder how she thinks the party is going to react if she were to steal the election somehow.. hasn't she gotten the message yet? She continues to get more desperate, and proposes bas ideas like this: http://sethandray.wordpress.com/2008/05/05/gas-tax-holiday/ Please Mrs. Clinton, go back to DC and work to get something accomplished...say an Obama win in November!!!

Last night for the first time in MY adult life, I was overcome with emotion and never prouder of being an American. For the first time, I feel like Unity will outweigh racial tension. I hope the superdelegates are paying attention.

ME TOO! Do you think we will get slammed in the MEDIA for being PROUD to be an AMERICAN like they did Michelle? What a joke this MSM has become. Obama has overcome more than either of his other candidates for president and still came out with a WIN and a huge one at that.

I am white, woman , over 50 and PROUD to be an AMERICAN after 8 long years of pure HELL with the BUSH administration.

Superdelegates do your JOB

On Sunday February 11th 2007, Barack Obama stood in-front of a large crowd in Illinois and announced his official run for President of the United States. His voiced echoed words that inspired, uplifted and allowed us to believe in hope once again. Over the following months we all began to be drawn to this charisma, affection and undeniable ability to bring people together. A grass roots type organization sprung up as his backbone and over the coarse of the last year has proven that you don't have the play the Washington D.C. game to get somewhere and make a difference.

Over the last six months we have fought a hard fought battle with Senator Clinton. She has been a formidable opponent that through right or wrong, has made Barack a much stronger candidate. If it wasn't for this battle then alot of people might not know just who Barack is and what he stands for. For that reasons and many others, we must all congratulate Hillary on her campaign and say thank you. We must embrace her supporters as our own and welcome them into the frey. For if we denounce the very characteristics that inspired us from the beginning, we will be nothing short of hypocrites. So let me say welcome to all. Lets work together and put a Democrat in the white house come November.

I agree. I know that Obama understands that Hillary put him through his paces. The news media did too, and he has survived it with his integrity intact. I understand why Hillary is still campaigning. It must be a bitter pill to swallow to want something so much and to have lost it. I think we have all felt that to some degree or another.

He has no clue what is about to hit him. Clinton is nice compared to the Republicans and the media has treated him with kid gloves so far. I hope he is up to it. I really do.

Good Job Obama....!

It is time. The superdelegates have to show a little courage and character her and end this thing. Any attempt to hand her the nomination would cause a schism so profound that the Democratic party would not be able to heal the wound in our lifetime.

It is obvious that Hillary doesn't have the class to quit, and Bill is honoring their agreement from the blue dress days, so he certainly won't be the one to suggest she call it a day. The super delegates have to be the ones to do it.

Most, if not all, of the remaining superdelegates are very familiar with Hillary, with both of the Clintons. If they have chosen not to endorse someone so well known to them, it may mean they are (1) afraid of incurring the deadly, unforgiving and unforgetting wrath or the Clintons -AND/OR- (2) do not want to back her but have been waiting for irrefutable proof that Obama 'has what it takes' to win the general.

Ladies and Gentlemen..............he has what it takes.................now is your opporutnity................go forth and support!

Favorite    Flag as abusive Posted 10:53 AM on 05/07/2008

emeans29 you are right the superdelegates are coming one by one. Those who want to jump on the train this is the time to do so. Sen. Obama is the man despite what the Clintons did to him he still prevailed. We are behind you Obama more money on the way to you son. This is the new Movement of Change I want to be part of it in full swing. However, it will go in history for the next generation to learn. It also showed how well organized Obama. He has been like that in Chicago when he was a community organizer. Sen. Obama has the money he need, he has a strong movement behind him. We the public is funding him with all his needs.
God bless you Obama,

The Billaries will find the train gone by the time they will decide to board the train. Chelsea take mom and dad home girl. She came as a front runner now she is rockie what does that tell you? The American people are now on a different page. The public has spoken clear and loud they want new politics. The days of the Clintons are now history. Obama is the next generation - that means the future. Thank you North Carolina and Indiana.
