Barbara Walters Takes The High Road In Star Jones' War Of Words
Yesterday, a rep for Barbara Walters told UsMagazine.com that she wouldn't dignify Star Jones' comments about Walters with a response. Today, Barbara Walters takes that one step further, telling "Entertainment Tonight" that she prefers to not even know what Star said:
"I didn't see the statement. I have very good memories of Star and I'd like to keep it that way."
Star told UsMagazine.com that it was "a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book."
Barbara announced in her book Audition and on Oprah yesterday that she was forced to lie to protect Star's secret gastric bypass surgery. To read Barbara's comments and watch the video of her discussing Star with Oprah, click here.
