Chris Matthews Debuts New Hairdo

MSNBC host Chris Matthews took to the airwaves Thursday night with a new 'do. The normally bleach blond Matthews, host of "Hardball," now has noticeably darker hair. It's more of a russet/rusty coloration and is a bit shorter.

Below are 4 screengrabs. The first two are from Tuesday night, the second two are from today's - Thursday's - "Hardball." They are taken from the same television and same DVR machine onto the same computer.

Women are constantly changing their hairstyles. If it makes him feel more youthful and handsome, let's give him a break. He's at that age where he thinks a touch of Grecian Formula will work gradually, and we'll hardly notice the change...until his hair turns Howard Fineman dark auburn with a haze of orange around the temples when the studio lights hit him. I hope he reconsiders.

I don't like Chris Matthews because he has no core belief. One day he says that the Bush admin has been caught in their criminality. The next night he says Bush would never hurt a fly. One night hes gushing over Obama. The next night hes getting chummy with McCain.

I think you owe it to your audience to tell them what you really believe. Otherwise, its dishonest.

Chris is getting increasingly fake, color the dead hair and they may look like new. Unfortunately he can not do the same cosmetic trick with the dead brain cells.

Matthews got his TV start as a 'pundit' on the McLaughlin show about 20 yrs. ago. At that time his hair was your basic middle-age grey.
As he became more infamous the hair turned blonde.
Matthews specializes in nasty, catty remarks about others, especially anyone who he decides to try and put down. But never has he made smart-ass remarks about other men's hair dos. Even Matthews knows there are limits to his hypocrisy.
