Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin (born October 7, 1952) is the Prime Minister of the Russian federation, the former President of the Russian Federation, the 2007 TIME magazine Person of the Year, and a dick. As an emotionless, muscular, tyrannical, soviet-style politician and former KGB agent, Putin is essentially an amalgam of every villain from every action movie released between 1981 and 1987.

I'd take Putin over any Republican hands down.

He's much less of a tyrant than the Reaganite corpo-fascist crooks who are enslaving us HERE and his foreign policies are much less violent than Republicans.

Also, Russias' middle-class is growing leaps and bounds and working-class people actually *prosper* there. Most people in Russia love him.

There's nothing surprising here. Russia has a long history of this sort of thing.

For instance, Tsar Peter I was a lot like Putin, but with more bravado and less respect for democracy, and the Russians remember him as Peter the Great!

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin an emotionless, muscular, tyrannical, soviet-style politician and former KGB agent. I have to admire the guy. He has a intellect and he doesn't suffer from the Russian disease (alcoholism). Low tolerance for bushit is admirable. Furthermore, I have worked aboard large ships and have a shirt and jacket similar to that in the article's Putin photograph. Furthermore, my facial expression and eye color are similar.
