Al Gore

Bloomberg has reported that Al Gore isn't looking for an official seat in the White House, no matter who wins in November:

"I won't accept a cabinet post regardless of which of the three candidates wins the presidency," Gore said yesterday.

"I am looking for a way to bring about change in other ways," the former vice president and former Democratic presidential candidate said. Gore is in Rome to present the Italian version of his Current Media Inc.'s Current TV channel.

More starvation & food riots worldwide today because of algore; if ever anyone should be brought before the world court, tried & imprisoned, it's him.

Food shortages, rapidly rising energy prices, neddlessly more expensive homes, all thanks to American greenies.

Meanwhile, algore's "green investments" under his control have risen to 1.9 billion, and of course the main benefactor of their profits & dividends is gore.

Then again, his collossal mansion in TN does have some big utility bills that have to be paid.

No question, when PT Barnum spoke, algore was paying attention.

To limit this man to the pitiful existence of greed you on your world call politics would be senseless. As one of the strongest and most popular voices capable of shocking your world into action, his voice needs to be free and listened to frequently. The human species needs to be shocked into action. His voice and many others have been pleading for immediate action to take place, but too little is being done too slowly. There is a very short window of opportunity for humanity to implement change on a worldwide scale to have any hope of reversing the damage you and you alone are doing to your world. Listen to the very being you call home, for it is speaking to you. Listen and act now. The universe is watching.

Too bad,... but a decision we all should respect.

He can do more good as an 'insider' on the outside at this stage of the game.

Thanks anyway Mr. Gore.

Getting political again would only hold him back. The next president needs to embrace gore and all the voices and scientists on this world who are award of the harsh reality of the peril we will be facing immediately. They need to make it their highest priority. It is imperative that they meet weekly on all can and must be done to come together as a species and save our world to save ourselves. Any who puts an economy or health care or immigration ahead of the survival of our species as we know it should be fired.
Ok, they can put getting us the hell out of Iraq immediately right alongside working to save our world.

Good for him! He has accomplished more for his cause as a citizen than he did as a politician. Since he quit politics, he has released a global warming documentary (An Inconvenient Truth, which won 2 Oscars and 19 other awards) and won the Nobel Peace Prize. Despite his good intentions, he wasn't able to accomplish much as a Senator or VP. He should be able to keep his focus on bringing awareness to his cause if he isn't involved in politics.

My own hope is that Mr. Gore will have access to a Democrat controlled White House, thus furthering the efforts to reduce carbon emissions and to clean up the atmosphere for future generations. He has a lot to offer, and with a Congress and White House that are interested in doing more than just taking bribes from the oil companies, a lot may get done.

He needs to remove his carbon footprint from this planet.

Come on, Al.....commit.

Mr. Gore is a smart man, but he is a wimp. He has stood up for the climate, but he lacked any backbone when it came to defending the USA in terms of its administration. He should have. He could have. All he has continued to do is demonstrate why he lost the presidential election. He is afraid. He could have, currently defended one of the democratic candidates. He certainly could have spoken out against Ms. Clinton's insane outrageous remark that she would obliterate Iran if the attacked Israel. He is a disappointment. We need strength in leadership and utmost honestly. I wouldn't give Al Gore any position in government. he would be afraid to defend it.

Al Gore may be many things, but he is no wimp. Sadly, the same cannot be said for pseudo-intellectual Internet trolls who lash out with their computer keyboard instead of taking their civic obligations seriously by seeking facts, much less getting involved in government themselves. Al Gore changed the world. The only thing you've changed is your t-shirt.

Uncle Al is making too much money on the global warming hoax to go back into government.

Besides, he had 8 years as Vice President and he didn't do squat. He would also have to go through a confirmation process and have to answer his critics. It's the same reason he won't run for President again. Exposing him as a fraud would really hurt his business.

Tell me, what reputable source do you cite in the face of overwhelming, non-partisan scientific consensus to bolster your hoax claim? And remember, a few moments of Internet research and the sock-puppet recital of every worn-smooth Fox News talking point doesn't count.

First of all, you can't have a consensus in science. It's not up to a vote.

Second, the oceans are cooling and the global warming that was happening naturally and stopped back in 1998 will become global cooling for the next 10 years. Naturally!!

It's time to come up with a new scam.

What's interesting is that he's been in government, and he's been out on his own. And he came to the conclusion that he can accomplish more out on his own. At the same time, Barack has been out on his own and he's been in government. And he believes he can accomplish more in government. To each his own.

That's about as clear as it gets. Good for him. Sounds a lot like Edwards' position on morning joe, actually...looks like politicians are finding better results in NGOs.

Why would he want to take a pay cut? He's making more money off his Global Warming/Climate Change scam than the Pope.

I think this is a very good decision for Gore. He can do much more good by not being associated with a particular administration.
