Hillary's Chances: Growing Chorus Says It's Not Going To Happen

The chorus from major news outlets saying Hillary Clinton's candidacy is almost impossible is growing louder as the Clintons continue to push on. The AP reports on the nine superdelegates Barack Obama picked up today. Clinton picked up one. This morning, ABC declared that according to their delegate tallies, Obama had won more superdelegate support than Clinton for the first time. This afternoon, AP's tally showed Obama within half a superdelegate of Clinton.

When asked about Clinton this morning on NBC and MSNBC, former Democratic contender John Edwards said, "it's very difficult to make the math work." Edwards has yet to make an endorsement.

Barack Obama all but erased Hillary Rodham Clinton's once-imposing lead among national convention superdelegates on Friday and won fresh labor backing as elements of the Democratic Party began coalescing around the Illinois senator for the fall campaign.

ABC News' Karen Travers Reports: For the first time this campaign season, Barack Obama has surpassed Hillary Clinton's support among superdelegates, according to the ABC News delegate estimate.

John Edwards on NBC and MSNBC:

The former presidential candidate told interviewers on NBC and MSNBC that Barack Obama will probably top the Democratic ticket this fall.

Hillary Clinton has said that she can still win the nomination - but "it's very difficult to make the math work," said Edwards.

Here is the reality. White America will not elect a Black President. They will vote McCain before Obama.

92% of Blacks aren't voting for Obama because they want him over Hillary. They're voting Obama because they want a Black in office.

The media is pushing this. America will be the loser when McCain takes office in January after beating Obama. 4 more years of the same.

American should realize Obama gives the Republicans the White House.

I've never voted Republican in 20 Years of voting. But if it's Obama or McCain I'll vote McCain. And if you think I'm alone, you are sadly mistaken. My estimate, based on talking to people I know, 25-30% of those who voted Hillary will vote McCain if Obama is the other option.

You don't see the media doing those polls, because they have their own agenda, and America better wake up before it's over.

Look at it this way. If Blacks voted in the same numbers as whites did. Other than because Obama is black. Hillary would be 5-8 points ahead of Obama right now in popular and delegates. Take those White Voters away from Obama and give them to McCain in November. It's a no brainer. Obama loses.

Oh, and lastly, you won't see these statistics and facts in the media. They have their own agenda's. How much money do these people in the media lose in tax increases if a Democrate is elected? Hmmmm, sounds like motive to me.

You were the best chance to build a bipartisan coalition as President but thankfully the Republicans selected John McCain. Someone made an excellent point on another thread: The primary race is NOT over despite what the MSM spin is saying. That stance may encourage Obama supporters in the remaining primaries to skip voting which would help Hillary. Also the mistaken idea that the race is over is already giving Hillary a free pass on what negative (and inaccurate) things she is saying e.m. she is getting more white voters than Obama, and people like Dan Abrams are already saying we should ignore what she says now that the race is over.
